We've got a new featured location in Marvel Snap and it's Fisk Tower!
Fisk Tower is a completely new location being added to Marvel Snap as part of the August Season: Heroes for Hire. Fisk Tower destroys any card that moves there.
It might look simple at first to play with Fisk Tower: you simply just do not move there. However, there are some cards that can be played that force you or your opponent to move their cards there: Magneto, Aero, and Juggernaut can all combine with Fisk Tower's effect to become strong removal effects that can possibly win the game for whoever plays them.
However you choose to plan for the new location, you'd better get used to it; being a featured location means that Fisk Tower will show up 40% more frequently for 48 hours, from 8 PM PT Tuesday night to 8 PM PT Thursday night.
On Reveal: Move all opposing 3 and 4-Cost cards to this location. On Reveal: Move the last enemy card played this turn to this location.
What Are Featured Locations in Marvel Snap?
There are two different types of location events in Marvel Snap.
- Sunday's hot location that appears 60% more frequently for the next 24 hours.
- Wednesday's featured location that appears 40% more frequently for the next 48 hours.
This helps pave way for new deckbuilding strategies as you may want to be playing something else should the bonus better benefit cards you aren't playing with. For example, we've seen this previously with the featured location, Monster Island, whose boosted appearances meant many players ran Shang-Chi to destroy the 9 Power Monster.
As announced in the developer livestream, Marvel Snap will be getting a brand new location every week and it will be featured when it is added, as we're seeing now with Fisk Tower.
What do you think of Fisk Tower? Have your own ideas for taking advantage of the featured location? Let us know in the comments below!

Yea weekly updates are cool but global release when?
We don't know right now, unfortunately. As soon as there's an official announcement of a release date we'll make sure to inform everyone we can.
I really don't understand why they did this weird release calendar. They're losing lots of players since the hype already passed LONG time ago.
Soft launches are pretty common for f2p games, especially for mobile. It allows them to get feedback on a unfinished game. Kinda like early access on Steam, except here the fast majority of the main target audience (casual players) don't even know about its existence until they one day see it in their mobile stores, which means that they never have a chance to make their first impressions based on a unfinished product.
