I am really happy to finally see some dragons, but again, why the fuck don't they make a decent aoe for hunter and rogue... Arguments against it, like "class identity" are total bs in times of hammer swinging hunters...
It's a hammer from the hunter gryphon rider guys in W3 which are "hunters" https://wow.gamepedia.com/Gryphon_Rider_(Warcraft_III)
Litterally the first sentence of your links states that Gryphon rider are warriors.
Gryphon riders (also spelled gryphonrider and gryphon-riders)[1] are mounted warriors who serve as air support in the armies of the Alliance's nations.
Maybe i don't understand it correctly since i'm not an english native.
class identity is about the gameplay not about the theme
And who defined that hunters for example aren't meant to be strong with aoe? I mean, look at WoW. The game HS has been based on. Hunter has Multi-Shot and Volley in Classic.
They don't have to give both classes extraordinary AOE like Twisting Nether, but at least a viable option that deals 5 damage, to survive midrange decks without sacrificing your own minions, would be cool.
Very good competing against Hearthpwn for reveals.
Pirate warrior might just be a thing! Definitely my day one deck!
The Card dump is real - so many novelty !!
I'm bummed out for missing the actual reveal, but you guys have my back to help catching up!
Thank you OutofCards <3
you can still watch it on twitch, I always miss the reveal stream live cause I'm at work at that time but on purpose don't visit any websites and watch the reveal stream video on twitch or yt when I get home
Looking carefully at each card to find the sleeper card of the expansion.
Big Ol' Whelp is basically Azure Drake 2.0. That's a great card for arena and constructed. An auto-include in any dragon deck and the card that will push dragons in the meta. Calling it now.
Demons as a tribe got the shaft this expansion.
Still waiting for the Legion themed expansion, are we?
I was waiting a 1-cost 1/1 Whelp for this expansion. If it won't be in this expansion, it can never be.
So they thought that it would be so op for deckbuilding, like me.
I love all those dragons. If only Dragonmaw Poacher did not exist.
Emp operative is a shit tier card because if it doesn't connect it's a 3/3 for 5, and if it does its an assassinate(mediocre card) with a 3/3 attached, targeting a tribe which has huge value from its deathrattles and is composed mainly of cheap minions.
On the other hand if dragonmaw connects it is a flamewreathed faceless (which is one of the most oppressive cards ever printed) on steroids, and If it doesn't connect it is a 4/4 for 4. I wouldn't be surprised if it was run as 2 copies In every single deck, provided that even non heavily dragon themed decks sometimes just run dragons because they are generally very good cards.
Surely won't see play, just like E.M.P. Operative.
Operative has terrible stats for a 5 drop though, poacher is only 1 hp off of a baseline 4.
Agreed, Have a tech card by all means but that seems like it will decide so many games very early.
Aaand, none of these cards can threaten Wild topdecks.
