Yu-Gi-Oh Gets New Banlist for the OCG - Kashtira and Tearlaments Hit

After the TCG got a new banlist almost 3 weeks ago, it's not time for the Japanese side of things to receive a shake-up to their meta. It will go live on January 1st, 2023. These changes don't affect TCG players, but can be used as an indicator (even if not an exact one) of what might come down the line.

Forbidden

• Tearlaments Kitkallos - previously unlimited at 3.
• Barrier Statue of the Stormwinds - previously unlimited at 3.

Limited

• Ancient Fairy Dragon - previously banned.
• Kashtira Fenrir - previously unlimited at 3.
• Kashtira Unicorn - previously unlimited at 3.
• Prime Planet Paraisos - previously unlimited at 3.
• Blackwing - Steam the Cloak - previously banned.
• Change of Heart - previously banned.
• Bystial Magnamhut - previously unlimited at 3.
• Tearlaments Scheiren - previously unlimited at 3.
• Tearlaments Reinoheart - previously unlimited at 3.
• Tellarknight Ptolemaeus - previously banned.
• Branded Fusion - previously limited at 2.

Semi-Limited

• Galatea, the Orcust Automaton - previously limited at 1.
• Swap Frog - previously limited at 1.
• Sky Striker Ace - Kagari - previously limited at 1.
• Infernity Launcher - previously limited at 1.
