- Since 2019 when they originally debuted Path of Exile 2, they have been working "tirelessly" on the game.
- They have tried to go above and beyond with this year's ExileCon.

- There are over 100 developers on Path of Exile 2.
- Path of Exile 2 was originally announced as a simple expansion to PoE. This is no longer the case.
- They made the decision to make separate games when they realized it was getting so large. There was no reason to get rid of the original game people loved.
- All microtransactions are shared between the games, with a few exceptions where the content isn't in the original game (like bear shape shifting).

- Melee has a much different feel. Almost all melee abilities have some form of movement.
- Monk is a specialist in movement.
- Killing Palm is an ability that will kill monsters that have low enough health (seen by a blue orb on top of the monster's head).
- Falling Thunder creates a small lightning AoE but if you have power charges it becomes a pack clearer with more projectiles.

- The gems are pre-leveled to the area it dropped in.
- Meta gems are skills that can have other skills socketed into them.
- Trigger gems need to fill up in order to trigger. This is indicated by buffs in the top left corner of your screen.
- Weapon swapping in PoE 2 isn't as awkward as PoE 1.
- Choose which weapons are used per skill in your skills interface.
- You will then automatically switch weapons.
- Weapon set-specific skill points are added so your passives change based on your skills being cast.

- Hardcore characters do not permanently die when they are in the afterlife.
- You earn favour with each tribe, which lets your purchase equipment for your warriors.
- Each tribe has different perks.
- Field items are activatable buffs.
- Each round you win, you earn a reward.
- They are tattoos which are "engraved on your soul" aka the passive tree.
- Tattoos convert attribute skills to better abilities like movement speed or resistances or elemental damage.
- Each of the 10 tribes have a unique item that you can earn by defeating them.
- Omens sit in your inventory and are consumed when something happens.
- You can only consume a single omen in a combat area.
- There is an omen that creates a portal to town on death.
- Omens are tradeable but can be rare to get.
- Hinekora's Lock allows you to see the result of using a certain currency item on an item.
- The end game is getting Sanctum league in the core gameplay.
- Sanctums are now tradeable items.
- When you play a floor, the next floor becomes a tradeable item. It saves all the previous states.
- Relics have been rebalanced and are now tradeable.
- A complete sanctum run now requires you to complete the final boss in her first and second forms.
- Expect more monster and floor variety.
- 16 new atlas keystone passives are being added to the atlas tree.
- 14 new support gems are being added.
- Corrupting Cries gem make Warcries do damage to enemies.
- Returning Projectiles pierces targets and makes them return to you.
