You can also remove it by reducing its toughness to 0 through things like -1/-1 counters or anything that reduces its base toughness.
Indestructible means damage and effects that say "destroy".

Yes. Indestructible cards ignore "destroy" effects, but can still be exiled, bounced, put back in the deck, etc.

I haven't played in a while, but I believe so. Indestructible stops the permanent from being destroyed - exile is something else entirely.
