Another Thursday is here, and it brings a new pair of free titles from the Epic Games Store! This week we have a survival horror game from the director of Resident Evil 4 and a first-person puzzle game with time travel. Let's get into it!

The Evil Within

From Shinji Mikami, the director of Resident Evil and Resident Evil 4, we have a survival horror game that'll see you come face-to-faces with frightening monsters in a distorted nightmare. You play as Sebastian Castellanos, who is pulled in a world of terror (both literally and figuratively) and must find a way to escape.

Eternal Threads

Six people died in a house fire in the North of England in May 2015. You are an operative tasked with fixing corruptions in the timestream. You mission? Use your abilities to travel back in time and ensure that all six of those residents survive. Eternal Threads is a first-person puzzle game where you must change the past in such a way that the resulting future is to your liking.

What do you think of this week's game? What other titles would you like to see Epic give away for free? Let us know in the comments below! Next week we get in the Halloween spirit with Tandem: A Tale of Shadows and The Evil Within 2.
