Twelve years since the release trailer for Grand Theft Auto V made its debut, Rockstar is at it again with an early release of the Grand Theft Auto VI trailer. The trailer dropped ahead of its scheduled release date of December 5, due to the fact that it leaked in full.
The game is said to launch in "2025" and we'll be going back to Vice City, the Grand Theft Auto equivalent to Miami, Florida. Watch the trailer below to see the gorgeous graphics.
Trailer Information
- The protagonists appear to be Lucia and Jason.
- Swamps confirmed, this is Florida after all. Look at those flamingos!
- One of the beaches is looking quite crowded; More NPCs than every before in a small area.
- Neon lights, clubs, a vibrant night life - exactly as one would expect from a new game in Vice City.
- The iconic bridges going between islands make an appearance.
- Crocs in your pool, and we're not talking about the footwear.
- If "Florida Man" were a game, GTA6 looks like it will be capitalizing on that in full.
What do you think of the new trailer?
Comments
I'm happy and sad at the same time;
Happy because after all those leaks, we have finally an official data and release date(ish)
Sad because I don't use consoles and there are still at least 2 or 3 years for the actual release for me.
Can't wait to see some gameplay trailer tho. My expectations about game systems and mechanics like new inventory system etc. are huge after the leaks. I hope they had not change those drastically. I mean, I don't like to take my rocket launcher out from my ass. Bag as car like how it is on RDR 2 is great if you ask me and also grabbing some hostages, even robbing them with some threats might be great in a GTA world. I don't even know why these were not things until sixth game.
Anyways, my hopes are high. I am expecting a good game. I don't even mind if graphics are bad or good. Some people claims that trailer is CGI but I don't think so. Rockstar never did that before. Also, even if it is CGI, my expectations about GTA were never related to graphics.
Anyways, this took longer than i anticipated. I am just looking for gameplay trailers now.
That actually looks dope. Fits the craziness of gta games, kinda reminding me of san andreas in that aspect, I don't know why. And I like that it's a duo this time, making it more intimate (?) I guess. I just hope the game won't have cringe woke humor and vibe like the latest Saints Row did.
Not just "likely"... Rockstar admitted it officially:
