Learn about what the labels on Survivalist Class mean on your Escape From Tarkov PMC character profile.

What is Escape From Tarkov's Surivalist Class Statistic?

Everyone has been to their Overall panel on Escape From Tarkov at some point and wondered, what is "Survivalist Class"? The statistic located under the Common stats panel, is an indicator of your playstyle and is a label based on your highest experience category. This label does nothing special, it's just a bit of flavor on your statistics screen.

Do note that until your PMC hits Level 20, your Survivor Class will be Unknown. Here are the other four values you might see under Survivalist Class.

Neutralizer

You've prioritized farming the blood of your enemies over all else. Most of your experience as a Neutralizer comes from Kills. Anytime you take down an enemy, experience is added to this category, making it one of the easiest categories to achieve because there is no shortage of Scavs and PMCs to take down.

Marauder

Looting is your entire game plan as a Marauder. You certainly shoot to kill but most of the time you can be seen running around conflict instead of diving deep into it. Anytime you search a container or pull items out into your own character, you will gain experience that can make you a Marauder.

Paramedic

One of the more difficult survivor classes to achieve, being a Paramedic in Tarkov means you've gained Healing experience more than any other category. Healing experience in Tarkov can be difficult to come by, because it is so easy to just die and if you do stay alive, a single kill of an enemy can out-earn any experience earned towards healing because there's just not a lot of it to go around. Easily the most difficult survivor class to obtain because you will definitely spend some of your time in raids taking damage to falls, fire, or barbed wire just to keep your experience number up; That's one hell of a grind.

Survivor

Survivors get experience during raids by simply existing. You make it out of the majority of raids that you enter but you go in, complete your tasks, and then go out in quick succession while avoiding both kills and looting. This requires a commitment to a different kind of playstyle, much like the Paramedic above, to truly become a Survivor. The only question remains, will you Escape Tarkov?

That's everything you need to know about Survivalist Classes in Escape From Tarkov. It's purely a piece of flavor on your profile that showcases your playstyle.
