i´ve been playing since Witchwood, and now that there is the possibility of buying wild packs with gold, i wonder if it worths to buy until get the first legendary card, guaranteed in the first ten packs.

i only play standar, it would be just for dust

what do you think?

Hello Guys; Welcome to my year long story;

I present you Year of the Peacock ! Yes; a Peacock ! Which represents the great Festival year of Warcraft Universe !


Our beloved Peacock which gives the name to year is this handsome Sholazar Peacock !

These festivals are completely custom. It doesn't contain the existing festivals like Fire Festival, Lunar Festival, etc. and each expansion of the year is a Festival.

I am not good with photoshop programs or sth. like that so I couldn't create custom images for my year icon or images about year but If anyone can help I won't refuse. :)

So; Here is the 1st expansion of the Year; Harmony of the Spheres !



Everything starts with a great concert of Elite Tauren Chieftain (ETC) in Early April which you will see all of the members of this great band !



 At first concert of them there will be "The Prince"; so players who joins a concert in first 30 days of the expansion by Log-in game will get the awesome E.T.C. The Prince legendary card for free !


E.T.C. The Prince works like Kazakus;

With one of the Class Legendary Card that is a source of inspiration! which I will explain more in this post.

As you can see here; We have a brand new keyword, Rhythm;


You already saw some synergetic cards so I will show some real examples here;


(Deathrattle rhythms can only trigger after the deathrattle triggers, If Deathrattle minions are silenced, Rhythms can't trigger because there will be no effect to trigger.)

And there is more with Rhythm cards; There will be some Melody Cards that will be upgraded when a rhythm triggers for every class;


and There is also more ! There will be 6 Neutral Melodies in the set ! All are collectibles and not tokens so you can put them in the deck of whichever class you want !


All of the classes have their own theme with one of their Source of Inspiration Legendaries. There will be also one performer for each class.Themes are all about entertaining; While Hunters are Journeyer Bards and Circus Masters, Warriors have badass Metal Bands and Warlocks even rule Brothels !!!

Here is some examples of Source of Inspiration;

All of them are similar to Quest cards but there is no-more dead first turns ! You will play your cards and they will be available when you complete the restrictions.

ETC had been in need of sponsorship for their concerts and asked Baine Bloodhoof for it. He kindly accepted the sponsorhip of the Festivals and will join you after you opened your 30th HofS pack ! (Hoofs would be funnier tho so you may call it as Hoofs !)
Additionally, Everyone who buys one of the pre-order will obtain a golden Baine Bloodhoof !



There will be 136 brand new cards in this expansion and It is time to see all of the cards.

Sidenotes for Mage and some other cards: I have started to design this expansion in Rise of Shadows times so didn't know that Druid will have same unspent mana synergy and thought that it would fit more in mage so that was really great surprise to see same synergy in druid for me. You will see that in some neutral cards and other class cards that some of them are weak versions of Uldum cards and some of them are same with DoD cards (Nozdormu for example). I didn't change them yet but I might change them in time.

I know that there are so much weak cards and overpowered cards in this expansion. I'm not a master at balancing so I will appreciete all of the balance suggestions if you have some !

Also, There might be so much inconsistency in texts, Some wrong wording and Not so cool names of cards. English is not my main language so if you find something odd, tell me I will try to correct all of them. :)

I will be designing next expansion of the Year of the Peacock !

Looking forward to dusting off my Whizbang the Wonderful for the opening of the last expansion he'll see before he rotates into wild.

Does anyone have a link to a list of the whizbang decks for the new expansion? Quite like to see what I'll be playing tomorrow :)

People should try this deck out anyway, it's very fun. It's been my main deck since RoS came out.

But at this point, I'd especially like people to help me figure out how to adjust it to DoD. I don't think it will change much; but it would be nice to have a few new cards sprinkled in.

Specifically, I'm trying to figure out what to cut in order to fit two Violet Spellwings in. And then I might cut an Arcane Intellect in favor of an Elemental Allies -- crazy, you say? Maybe.

We all know hunters struggle to clear wide boards though Unleash the Hounds makes them useful for lethals.. 

My question is what answers wide boards the best in your opinion?

Assuming a control/reno deck, is Explosive Shot woth it?

 

I discovered a new OTK possible in Wild using Toxic Reinforcements. I'm playing around with a couple of deck lists for experimenting.

"Free" Arena Ticket

Players who have an active Arena run when expansion launches will have their current run retired and will receive an Arena Ticket as compensation (plus any reward for current number of wins for that run).

• Play out your run to x-2 (x wins and max. 2 losses) if you want more rewards from your run, or just leave it at 0-0 if you dont want to bother playing.

Friendly Neighborhood Gladiator: if you do plan on leaving your run at 0-0, you might as well start two games and concede to two players, getting some positive karma :) You will get the identical rewards for 0-0 and 0-2 score.

These are the cards i am surely going to craft (BEFORE opening, since i am sure i want them anyway) and their main purpose:

1. Flik Skyshiv (Tempo Reno Rogue)
2. Dragonbane (Face Even Hunter)
3. Kronx Dragonhoof (Galakrond Shaman and Warrior, hopefully decent in Wild).

Additionally, i really wish to drop these cards with packs, but i'm uncertain about crafting them (i'd hate to spend resources on cards that end up being unplayable for my Wild purposes):

• Malygos, Aspect of Magic (tons of fun, but considerably slower than Secret or Quest Mage).
• Frizz Kindleroost, but same as above, it might be too slow, and/or require too much card draw.
• Ancharrr (might actually fit a new iteration of Wild PW, but it could be too slow).

To be able to Summon Highkeeper Ra;

Play Mogu Cultist + Embalming Ritual + Embalming Ritual + Grave Rune + Grave Rune + Holy Smite (On Mogu Cultist);
This will summon 6 Copies of Mogu Cultists on board. Now, All you need to do is playing another Mogu Cultist from your hand at exact 10 mana.

Decreasing 3 copies of combo pieces will make you be able to do this combo. It doesn't matter which you decrease. Decreasing 2x Grave Rune twice is the best and safest way because you will be able to do the combo before you draw other pieces so you won't need to decrease 3rd copy of any combo piece.

I've built a highlander deck for rogue. I've tried highlander package on rogue last season. It had promising comboes with Zephrys The Great, Shadowstep, Spirit of the Shark but didn't go so well because of the lack of support on rogue's highlander package.

Now I'm thinking that Dragonqueen Alexstrasza + Kronx Dragonhoof + Galakrond, the Nightmare can help the deck so much with so much lackey generation of Galakrond and huge combo potential of all of the value generation cards. I know that rogue has always best lackey generation but now it is beyond best i think.

I am open to all suggestions because I want Highlander Rogue deck to be viable so much and want to improve the deck as much as possible.

So, if you are also interested in Highlander Rogue, Please share your ideas + decks + replacement suggestions here to help me improve it.

How many do you think you should usually run in your deck 4,5,6? I've just been putting four but now that im thinking about it with how slow draw can be some games that might not be enough and I probably should put 6 in some. Shaman probably only needs 4 since it has a card that invokes twice. Thoughts?

Hey, the newest set introduces many very good elemental cards for shaman and mage, which are usually my favourites, so I though it'd be cool to try them out. Both decks are rather fast and dragonless (there will be a lot of 8/8 with rush dragon counter at start of xpack probably).

1. Shaman:

This deck uses all best overload and elemental minions synergies, with Vessina and Bloodlust as possible finishers.

Here we've got the new Mana Giants and Chenvaala, so a lot of cheap spells, additional spells generators and ofc more elemental minions.

Warlock didn't receive any interesting cards. At least not when compared to other cards from the powercreep fiesta that is DoD. Warlock will remain the worst class for the 4 months to come and might even be completely unplayable like it was in Ungoro.

You're right that for a (too) long time Warlock was almost entirely defined by Life Tap which allowed Blizzard to not really worry about the class. Now they have to, and it's clear that they don't really know what to do with it (Paladin and Shamab have the same problem to a lesser extent). Blizzard seems to beliewed that "drawing cards" is a viable strategy and win condition on its own, but it isn't.

Crazed Netherwing is really good in a vacuum (no pun intended) but Abyssal Enforcer wans't enough to save Warlock during Ungoro...

Who's the sleeper of the set ?

Shadowstepper Keleseth is back! Even if +(1) to all minions is a greedy choice, it will definitely worth the buff in the right deck. That's why this card will push deckbuilding to the next level..

Nobody talks about this card, and how it looks like Ser Bronn of the Blackwater embracing the Scorpion ballista. But anyway, I am the only one who remembers Mech Hunters spamming hero power since turn 7!?

This card is not the Arcane Giant but stills a Giant. And, like any other Giant, it will be problematic, especially if Conjurer's Calling stills around...

Looks like a troll of the well-known 4 M a n a 7/7, but it's not. I can't wait to build a deck around this meaty bro ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

It's the 50% of a Carnivorous Cube. And that's enough to see play, I think.

Not sure if a Sleeper, because it's kinda difficult to find one in Rogue cards. But this card is not a meme. Legendaries from other classes could generate busted synergies, and it's a Discover. My new favourite (1) drop ^ . ^

When I think about this card I see Tirion Fordring in my mind. May be the real sleeper of the set...

Prepare to face 2xReno the Relicologist at (3) each. Isn't broken as Defile but stills OP for just (3)! FML

Light cost removal for heavy targets and get 2 for 1 in most situations. Really underrated card IMHO.

Giving the season 12 card back to players who didn't play at season 12 is wrong in my opinion. That's rude to the players who played in season 12. They "gained" it by playing in that season. So it is a time restriction, Those sentences are setting an exclusivity. They didn't set an exclusivity to wild cards before or GoW3 game before.

So, I would like to craft golden Elite Tauren Chieftain now but i can't. Guess why? There is a restriction, they gave it at Blizzcon 2013. I couldn't go Blizzcon 2013 because I am living in a different country. But I'm not begging them to activate it again. I know how it feels to have an exclusive item and i know it will be injustice to players who gets it in Blizzcon 2013.

They should have created a different version of the Ragnaros cardback for my feels. It is about what I feel, It isn't about the cardback itself, that cardback isn't even visually good. I don't care which cardback it is, I care about its exclusivity and how they tricked me by saying it is only acquireable by playing ranked in march 2015. maybe I could have played something else in that month, or I could have spent my time something else, Maybe I liked that card back so much and I renounced something else to be able to get that card back. They never know, You never know.

What I call injustice and rude is this. They stole my time.

Ah and try it in real life. Go buy a necklace for your girlfriend, and say that only she deserves that necklace, And buy 1 more and give it someone else as a gift. Make your girlfriend see that and experience what she feels.
