Deck Idea
Create wide boards of low-cost minions. Buff these minions using Paladin's Sidequest, Libram of Wisdom, Hand of A'dal, and Blessing of Kings to keep them sticky. Go face!
Mulligan
Since this deck is an aggro deck, we are generally looking for the same cards in every matchup. Specifically, we want any of our 1-cost cards or 2-cost minions. This strategy only changes when we are up against "ping classes"--Demon Hunter, Druid, Mage, and Rogue. If we are up against ping classes, we need to be a little more thoughtful about how we play our early game to ensure our minions stick--specifically, Brazen Zealot.
One of our best openers in all matchups is: (T1) Aldor Attendant --> (T2) Brazen Zealot+Libram of Wisdom.
Against Mage, we should only play our Brazen Zealot if we can buff it in the same turn with our buff cards or if we have Argent Protector.
For the other ping classes, we can also use Air Raid to protect or Brazen Zealot since the taunts will momentarily keep Brazen Zealot protected.
Synergies
This deck doesn't utilize too many interesting combos, but it does have some things we need to keep in mind to play our minions most effectively.
Causing a Swarm
Righteous Cause is extremely strong in aggro/token based decks that summon many minions. Since Paladin has access to cards like Air Raid and Sky Claw, this card works wonderfully to help our minions stick. Be cautious of Micro Mummy as it can summon an extra minion and mess with the count on quest progress.
Drawing the Pride
Paladin has a lot of 1-health minions in standard right now, so Salhet's Pride adds much needed card draw to this zoo deck. There are seven 1-health minions in the deck, so Salhet can tutor out four of them for us. He's not a bad 3-drop to keep in our mulligan either.
The main reason Call to Adventure is in this list is to utilize as much card draw as possible from Paladin only cards (since we are running Pure Paladin). Fortunately, Call to Adventure can tutor out Brazen Zealot and put it just out of range of most early game removal. In conjunction with Argent Protector, a buffed Brazen Zealot can be a game winning synergy.
Substitutions
This deck has a surprising amount of options to play around with, and it can easily be turned into a budget deck, so you might find certain cards work better in your experience. If you drop the Pure Paladin synergy of the deck, the potential for substitutions and budget options increases dramatically.
Galakrond's Awakening: If you don't have the adventure, Imprisoned Sungill is a solid 1-drop to replace Air Raid. If you do have the adventure, Shotbot might be something to try out too. The other 2-drops either provide on board or in-hand/deck value that felt more impactful during my experimentation.
Murgur Murgurgle is definitely not necessary in this deck, but when you open a Golden Mr. Murgurgle, you have to include him, right? In all seriousness, he has synergy with Salhet's Pride, is sticky thanks to divine shield, and provides a potential late game bomb to close games. If you are missing him, Imprisoned Sungill will work perfectly fine. Additionally, Sword of Justice might actually substitute in well as a 1-of for this deck in lieu of Mr. Murgurgle.
If you are missing Lightforged Zealot, Truesilver Champion substitutes just fine. In fact, you might want to consider adding in other neutral 1-drops at that point since there won't be a reason for the Pure Paladin synergy anymore--specifically, Beaming Sidekick and Blazing Battlemage are strong additions to this deck.
Many people have been desperately trying to make Libram Paladin work, but I think many have ignored the obvious aggro potential of Libram of Wisdom. With the buff to Aldor Attendant, I believe a refined version of this decklist has a lot of potential for success. Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see where Libram Paladin ends up in the future with all the buffs Blizzard is adding to the archetype.
Good luck and have fun!
