Great as always, Goliath :)
One minor typo I noticed: "They believe the entrance, the Razorfen Downs is made from his mount and that it will swallow whole those not loyal to him, and spit out their bodies." I believe you meant "mouth".

Thanks, I'll correct it when it's time to edit and expand the guide after we get some info in a few hours :)
Reading this just brought me back to my days playing WoW. I visited Razorfen Kraul/Downs many times in those days.
Great write up! I'm super excited about this new set of expansions and I hope that they develop a year long set like they did with the Legion of E.V.I.L and go deep into RFK/RFD. One can only hope that this would lead into the final expansion of the year... the dreaded Barrens Chat!
LOL the dreaded Barrens Chat!
With powerful spells like AFK that makes minions sleep for a turn but gives them a powerful stat boost.
I'd also like a year long story like the League of EVIL - that shit was FUN
I like how the Quillboars creation myth slightly mirrors that of the Chinese creation myth of Pangu -
Like Agamaggan, Pangu was a massive creature whose body became the land the inhabitants came to inhabit. Unlike Agamaggan, Pangu wasn't killed by demons, he just got too big and exploded, creating the forests, mountains and rivers, much like Agamaggan's thorns and roots the Quillboar call home.
And Pangu started existence inside a giant cosmic egg!
YUP!
Thanks Goliath! At this point of Hs history, they can take all this lore and turn it into whatever they feel like.
Are those Wild Gods - War of the ancients covered in those books? I've been meaning to read them but never started.
Filling in for Goliath a bit since he hasn't read the War of the Ancients books, the wild gods do indeed turn up, especially in Book 3.
I liken their role to the ents in Lord of the Rings: there's a friendly one the heroes encounter early on (Treebeard / Cenarius), who ends up spending a jolly long time debating with the others, who eventually join the fray when they decide there is no other option.
Yeah, I'm planning on updating this soon after we get any official releases, characters, or cards from Blizzcon. It's quite mailable for them atm, like you say.
In terms of the War of the Ancients books, I actually haven't ready them myself yet, but know the basic story from my research on the wikis. What I can tell you is that it's a time travel story across a trilogy of books where three modern WoW characters get sucked back in time and need to make sure that nothing happens to change history and cause the Burning Legion to win. I'm certain there are sections talking about the wild gods, although they would likely be referred to as the Ancient Guardians since I don't think the term "wild god" had been coined by the story writers back then. At any rate, they are a major forces in that war and you likely could learn more about them from that time period.
