rather than saying the obvious like how every single standard deck in LOR is now massively eclipsed by siren song fizz and how we've never seen anything like this before in LOR

where one deck is so lopsidedly dominant that every other deck might as well go home

I just thought I'd build something equally broken for eternal

so we can all suffer together

feel free to use this deck and emote spam after every undeserved siren song win till people start complaining more than they already are

Before siren song I climbed to masters with a deck just like this

so now I can climb twice as fast in 3 months

of how balanced and appropriate siren song is as a card in LOR

Omg no joke I literally pulled a self pinging one drop of murrai warden

so when I summoned my husk from siren song it instantly died

and you know what?

I still easily won because a global buff to your deck for 4 mana is literally good enough

the husk is just overkill

maybe that's the fix it buffs but there's no husk on use

that would almost be balanced

Yeah, even if there are better answers for the card in eternal than in standard

even if you win 2 out of 3 games because a lot of deck won't have the tools

that's literally your 60% climb rate

that's what fizz has

and it's all you need

and then once you have your 60% climb rate

everyone elses goes down

and that's all they need to be considered bad

this is whats called a meta warp

There is no world where this card isn't considered polarizing and problematic

it will slot well into pirate aggro in eternal

it slots well in targon

it slots well into poros

it slots well into evelyn

it basically slots into everything

and I bet if you looked specifically at the winrates of opponents who have that early curve into siren song into whatever their woncon is

it will look pretty busted

As far as I can tell pretty much the entire reddit community is begging for a balance fix at this point

And while I'm content to just mess around for as long as it takes for Riot to get their act together

I'm fairly certain that not every player is going to share my patient mind set

Mix that with the general toxicity and lack of self awareness of the die hards and you've got a pretty potent cocktail.

Keep in mind I'm a masters player that puts me in the top 10% and I consistently reach that level

I will tell you however what players do care about, aka the people that keep the game alive.

They care that cards be balanced, that Champs be good, that build around wincons matter.

They care if 3 Champs were released that see 0 competitive play

They care if non stop aggression is generally more effective than thought out responses

They care about toxicity and try hard attitudes in the community.

They care about elitism and an unresponsive competitive community and dev community

Generally they care about things players actually care about

Beyond look how hard I can try hard wins against poros in casual que

Anyone can do that

My grandmother could do that

But game balance?

That shit is hard.
