Lol... 12-2 first time playing. Nerfs incoming!

First off, I do not intend to share the class or deck I got 12 with literally in the first run I ever played. If you know me from the Riddle game you can msg me and will tell you how to spam wins. Its the obvious one and wow with a little consideration I stomped my way through after a couple early losses while still building my deck.

Granted, I am a serious dungeon runner and everyone else is just starting to test it out, but the crap I employed was magabusted. We are talking turn two game overs. 

Still. Love it. Blizz did good and I am about to start a new run handicapping myself with that class that is wayyyyyy off the hook. Half my matches were concedes.

aaaaaaand i was drunk off that vodka and energy drink : D it was super too easies

  • There is some broken stuff around. Got a 12-1 and the only game I lost was against a batshit crazy Gibberling druid that killed me turn 3. 
    Towards the end I had 20/20 worth of stuff on the board at turn 3. 

    Between 9-1 and 12-1, I played only 2 different opponents back to back and probably ended their runs preemptively. 

    I don’t mind sharing my strategy since it’s not easily redone. I played paladin centered around consistent early game and some late game legendaries. Since there were no better options, I had to take the deathrattle perk that triggers the deathrattle upon playing it with only 2 DR cards in my deck. Next round I got Sylvanas, Cairn and N’zoth...... But that wasn’t even the powerfull part. A round later, I picked up the cloak (all cards cost half - rounded down!) The games ended turn 5-6 from there on.

  • Adding Robes of Gaudiness was a mistake. It is literally the most broken treasure and confirmed a win almost all the time, even against the most crazy bosses. Now in the hands of players, I shudder to imagine what it feels like to both play and face it.

      I've played against it: it's not fun :/ You feel hopeless 'cause they're dropping crazy stuff much sooner than you can. Especially when you have a crap treasure that's supposed to be comparable but definitely is not.

      Lol, I havent tried it myself. But thanks for confirming literally the most broken treasure in hs history is actually up for grabs.

  • Those were not the broken one I used ^^. 

  • Haven't played it yet, but I would guess that the game mode is balanced around your treasures and card buckets, not so much your starting deck. I'm probably wrong though.

  • Also, I just watched Dekkster's playthrough and it seems like there are banned cards in this game mode. Does anyone have a full list of them?

  • Is it just all aggro like i think?

  • They nerfed most of the okay treasures but left the worst offenders untouched (see robes). The active treasures have an even worse variance :/
