  • Seems like an obvious inclusion into one's Token deck, if only so you can yell it every time you play the card.

  • So one can only summon them if there is an enemy minion and if this minion has more than 0 attack they are only kind of removal?

  •  Soul of the forest plus this for seven mana. I don't  know. Perhaps paring with a dire wolf might be good.

  • best flavor ever!

This + Juggler is obviously pretty strong.

    • It's more about how much Health they have: if the enemy minion only has three Health remaining, three of the four Bees will kill it and the fourth bee will remain on the board. But yes, this is a removal spell first and a token generator second.

If you cast it against 2 health minion you get a dead enemy minion and two 1/1s

3 mana deal 4 splitted damage to a minion, Overkill: summon a 1/1 beast for every leftover damage.

    It seems very good card.

  • I'm guessing the bees bypass taunt?

If so, this seems like a stronger Shadow Bolt. Pretty good.

  • Question: if you target a minion with less than 4 Health, will the bee tokens stop attacking after said minion reaches 0 Health? Or will all bees simply suicide on a dead minion? If they do, this card becomes so much worse. If they don't this card is just broken. Just compare it Fiendish Circle.

The card doesn't specify "enemy minion" so you could target your own.

I wonder if the attack resolves before minion death resolves.  Would be neat to play this against a minion with less than 4 health to gain advantage.

Don't think this would work, because the bees would die before you can play another card. There are some synergies here, and maybe more to come. In wild, this is nice with Addled Grizzly

  • Hey something I just noticed, this bypasses taunts.  Have we ever seen a card that can do this, that ISN'T hard removal?

    • The closest thing I can remember is The Beast Within. The difference is this card garantees it will bypass a taunt.

  • Have we received confirmation as to whether you'll keep the remaining bee(s), if you kill something with less than 4 health? That would be spicy.
Nice stuff with Floop's Gloop too.

It seems like a reasonable card to consider.

  • Shieldbearer buff! :D

Cool card. Definitely one you shout when played.

  • Yup, bypasses taunts, very lovely flavor, propably a lot of intriguing ways to use it (two examples: target your own Acolyte of Pain, or Shaman opponent's 0-attack totems), and also a good add to Druid's spell pool.

This card reveal made me very happy!

  • from what i see currently all tockes should attack regardless of health. So unless you choose a 0 attack minion all will die. It´s a good removal annyway. Summened into something that buffs other minions on your board it can even kill strong targets too.

  • You could also combo this with the likes of Cult Master for some juicy card draw :D I like this card, not sure if it will be as good as it seems but its cool

Swamp King Dred might fit your description

  • If they auto-attack a minion when summoned they aren't likely to survive long enough for you to cast Soul of the Forest on them.  You could still enchant all four if they attack a 0 attack minion, or if you have Knife Juggler and he pings the target down before the bees all summon and attack.  Or if you use this on a 3 or less health minion you would have at least one or more survive to be hit by Soul.  That is if they stop attacking once the target reaches 0 health.  The video is actually unclear on the interaction here, but I'd guess they do since things like Mass Hysteria no longer include minions at or below 0 health as attackers or as their random targets.

Basically, not a bad card.  However, using this along with Soul of the Forest is going to depend on the meta.  Lots of minions with small amounts of health in your opponent's decks?  Yeah, they could work well together.  Facing decks more focused on control and big minions?  Likely not going to have the synergy with Soul as they won't survive the summon and attack phase.

Kobold Barbarian, several ogre cards and Mayor Noggenfogger could bypass them at random.  So could Ogre Warmaul, but again it was random.  Mass Hysteria also doesn't care about taunt (or whose side the other minions are on) when they all go crazy and attack.

This might be the first "minion based attack" that bypasses taunt at a targeted minion instead of at random.  However, I put that in quotes because it's still a spell attack, even though it summons four 1/1s to carryout the attack.  Think of it more like if Swipe could only damage a targeted minion for 4, but it summoned a 1/1 for each damage of overkill.  That's kind of what this card is.

  • Just need a follow up card called "knees".  Text that reads, "choose one: Give your bees +1 attack/or +2 health"

  • This could be good with Floop's Glorious Gloop.

If you target a friendly, will they be summoned on the opponent's side? Then it could really mess up revive priest.

  • as with Gloop, just generally pretty good removal for Druid, seeing how Wardruid Loti isn't exactly reliable

I do wonder how it works in practice. If they targetted minion dies after, say, 2 bees, do the rest run in for overkill or remains as tokens?

Also this makes me hope for an Addled Grizzly reprint of some sort.

Generally speaking, Shadowbolt in Druid is pretty neat, just wished it scaled with Spell damage

  • Scarab Egg + BEEEES!!! Full board of 1/1's for 5 mana and 2 cards

Seems good in token decks for sure

  • Druid gets another swarm card

  • This is definitely interesting fuel for Floop's Glorious Gloop

At least in Standard. I doubt they can be(eee!!!) consistent/fast enough for Wild tho.

    But i'm going to try.

  • You can also get them to attack say your own gurubashi beserker which would survive and gain 12 attack

There's also a question of how Linecracker and other Overkill minions would work, as it would happen on your own turn and thus could theoretically trigger the Overkill. Play Linecracker, somehow have it live a turn, then play BEEEES!!! and watch that Attack skyrocket like an Inner Fire Priest. Until they patch it out for being an unintentional combo lel.

  • This flavor makes me so happy.

Actually, it might be better to think of it as a distant cousin of Imp-losion: It does direct damage, but in some circumstances, you'll get some 1/1s left over.

  • Not a big fan of the card's name. Zap! and Wispering Woods are bad enough, but an all caps meme reference? Come on Blizzard.

  • This card seems simple at face value but it's actually really interesting. It's a 4 damage removal card that summons tokens to do the damage. Looks like you can target your own minions as well, so i wonder what sort of situations would call for such a thing. The only other time minions can bypass taunt is when their target is automatically/randomly determined by some effect.

This could have synergy with cards that buff minions when they are summoned, or are buffed/triggered themselves by summoning minions like Knife Juggler. I can see people playing aggro with this already. That could be a potential 8 damage for 3 if a Knife Juggler survives or is played on the same turn. Plus they are possibly beasts, so there's that whole aspect of synergy as well.

With Floop's Glorious Gloop you also have some opportunity to get some extra mana, which in turn works with the new quest Untapped Potential.

This is a very cool card design for druid.

  • Cool flavour and the card on it´s own is also pretty nice. Good addition for Aggro/Token or you use it as removal!

  • Reminds me of Imp-losion just that instead of rng you always deal 4 and you get 4-enemy HP bees (as long as enemy hp is lower than 4) Imp-losion was one of the strongest cards in zoolock in GVG this being favorably comparable to the card is a huge plus, also token druid currently runs kinda MEH cards at 3, as well as this card being powerful in general means it might find it's way into other decks.

as a side note it's not that great against warrior minions and Acolyte of Pain.

Also you can play this on an acolyte of pain to draw 3 cards and then you ask yourself "why I am playing this dumb combo instead of playing Nourish".

  • Gurubashi Berserker & Linecracker combos should be fun.

  • So many synergies, this card is just great

  • Because of the nature of the card (summon minions as removal), there's so many combos that could be used here, I think this could be playable, and a massive help to new players due it's interactions with basic and classic cards.

The combo's I can think of:

Raid Leader, Stormwind Champion and (Wild Only) Addled Grizzly all turn this into a Deal 8 damage removal.

Cult Master gives it Draw 4 cards.

    Flesheating Ghoul gets +4 attack.

    Knife Juggler gets 4 pings.

Floop's Glorious Gloop makes this a free spell.

    Wild Only:

    Crypt Lord gets +4 Health.

Knight of the Wild reduces it's cost by 4. (I assume Bees count as beasts? Right?)

  • Imagine getting Scavenging Hyena from a random effect.

    • Quote From DoubleSummon

Also you can play this on an acolyte of pain to draw 3 cards and then you ask yourself "why I am playing this dumb combo instead of playing Nourish".

Because both acolyte and BEEES!!!! are fine cards on their own.  Cult master is a more powerful combo but you don't really want to run cult master in your deck when BEEES!!!! is used or not drawn

Also, this card apparently triggers overkill on your own minions so drawing with ticket scalper is going to be fun.  For 2 less mana, you "only" lose out on 5 damage and 4/4 of stats.  Too bad two card combos are that much more inconsistent
