Alas, I always seem to wait with ladder climbing until the final moments... and then miss out not only on the ranks, but also an occasional quest.
Your Ramp Paladin list is (very) wrong.
You can't run Amalgam in the deck because you need Nozdormu to be your only Dragon.
Also, the Broomstick is entirely unnecessary since most of the deck either has Rush, or Taunt, or costs 10 mana
I think it's fair to debate whether or not this is the best version of the deck, but I would definitely not say the one shared here is "wrong" because
Alura + Coin + Tip the Scales on 4 has got to be among the most insane combos I've ever run into... or maybe it's just that I've run into it five times this morning when all I want to do is play exactly one more corrupted card so I can finish my weekly?
I encountered one Paladin after another tonight, but it was all Librams (EU Gold).
Secret Mage is doing well? How did that happen?
Reading between the lines in the latest Viscous Syndicate report, the answer seems to be two-fold:
1) The deck is established enough to beat the experimental decks that people are trying right now.
2) The deck can provide multiple cheap 2- and 3-damage AoE effects, which is really strong against the rising Token Druid.
Between those two factors, the deck is doing well for now. It sounds like it will struggle as the meta evolves, unfortunately. I’d love to see a consistent Secret Mage deck stick around.
Probably cause the stats are from bronze to gold?
