Thought Murlocs were supposed to be shamans class identity?
Nevertheless quite good card both in standard and wild
A+ for the pun.
This looks pretty tempting alongside Anyfin Can Happen in wild.
A meme deck for sure, but I didn't have the cards for it back when Anyfin paladin was a real deck in standard.
Needs context, but probably bad.
Can you believe Call to Arms used to cost half this?
This with Prismatic Lens and any charge Murlocs
Fantastic Counter to Psychic Scream
Here we go again
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
This is far too slow for wild anyfin and aggro murloc paladin. By turn 8 you've either already played half of the murlocs in your deck (which aren't many, so this won't ever summon 7) thanks to Call to Arms and Finja, the Flying Star, or you've already lost, in terms of aggro paladin.
In standard, this is probably decent refill if a murloc-heavy aggro/midrange paladin deck becomes a thing. Sort of like The Forest's Aid in token druid. Except it doesn't have twinspell.
Damn it not murlocs again. Average card.

8-mana?
This won't be tipping anything. I'd rather drop a Tirion.

I don't get it :((
I'm not a native speaker, btw
oh another card they printed for wrong class. Happens more often that you'd like to admit ;)
Same here, but according to some dictionaries the idiom means the following:
https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/tip-the-balance-scales
If something tips the balance or tips the scales, it is the thing that causes a particular situation to happen or a particular decision to be made, when other situations or decisions are possible:
oh no it´s not average. Looks devasting. Murlocadin incoming.
This is ok in standard. Only works in full on murlocadin, which I'm not sure has enough other support. Can't really use this as a combo piece like Anyfin, because the chances are too high that by the time you draw this (and by turn 8 at the earliest) you'll have already drawn some of the other combo pieces so they won't be in your deck.
I think I like this in wild with Anyfin though... I played that deck A LOT, and its biggest drawback was games where your warleaders or bluegills were at the bottom of your deck. No more with this!
Communism is just a red herring
Play it on turn 8 and half that. Wont do shit unless there's something hidden behind this thay synergizes with it
Good for wild with anyfin (possibly instead of finja), without more support in standard I don't see it happening though. Best maybe with baleful banker you could make a burst with warleaders and bluegills but it's a bit too luck dependant I think
In standard I could see it being used in a Shirvallah OTK deck where you use murlocs to fight for board in the early game, play this in the mid/late game to thin the deck, and then end it with Holy Wrath.
Building off of this, "scales" are a series of rigid plates on the body of a fish or reptile (which Murlocs resemble).
In addition to that, a "scale" can also be a device to measure the weight of an object, or to compare the weight of one object to another. If an object on one side is heavier than an object on the other side, the scale will "tip" towards the side of the heavier object. The idiom "tip the scales" refers to such a situation like this, as the events "tipped" towards one side, so to speak.
In the context of this card, the name "tip the scales" references the idiom, while also alluding to both of the above definitions of the word "scale" at the same time.
Lots of quotations in this post, lol.
Ahm, I was aware what fish scales mean and what a measuring scale is. In my previous post wanted to say, that I had never heard the aforementioned idiom before until I checked an English dictionary on the internet.
Very situational, it could be a finisher if you have murlocs on board AND warleaders/bluegills still in your deck, but at turn 8 you probably already won or have already played at least half of your murlocs; if you summon 3 to 4 murlocs with an average of cost 2 you don't get a lot of value from it.
The pleasure is mine.
My last standard decks: nothing special right now.
I’m excited to see Murloc paladin, make a comeback. I love playing Arthas portrait and pretending after being defeated as the Lich King he gave up and decided to become King of the Murlocs.
with that said I really wish Paladin could get some better Murlocs. Right now Shaman has some AMAZING murlocs in standard, and even more in Wild. Paladin only has 1 good class murloc and it’s wild. (Not talking about spells)
Tip the Scales
in favor of your opponent. This is an 8-mana "Hope you didn't draw your good Murlocs already."

What I said was supposed to be for the other guy. I just quoted your post for th extra context.
I'm honestly not even sure what Devs are doing with Paladin at this point. Murlocs, one health minions that need support, dragons that aren't playable because Control Paladin isn't really a thing.
Almost like they said, "Here's a bunch of stuff, I hope some of it sticks."
Disappointing for sure.
Put Your Faith In The Light.
Tip the Scales + Prismatic Lens makes me want to quit the game. Fill the board for 1 mana? Great stuff, well played.
Seems like Tip The Scales surprised many of us in the most chaotic and destructive way. Oh, well at least you cant pull it of in Arena decks :)
Prismatic Lens makes this card completely bonkers. The deck is heavily dependent on drawing Prismatic, but when you do, most decks don't have an answer.
