With silence existing this is not good card
Hmm might be decent? There aren't that many silence cards, and it could work as a tech card if there are a lot of board clears in the meta.
Not sure it'll see play, maybe with broom its good, hard to tell...

Slow, and no immediate impact. However, it can generate much value over time, especially if copied or resummoned. Compare to Twilight Summoner, which did not see a lot of play. The taunt could make the difference.
If you can trigger the deathrattle, then sure. OTher than that it's another version of Twilight Summoner

I don't know why, but I am in love with this card. Love things evolved into this, great with a broom or a sacrifice deck, and it just looks epic (even though it's rare) - also Jandice Barov is super happy about this guy.

Such a strange card, I'd rather just get the Demonspawn up front. Would've been good from Jepetto Joybuzz.
Second-best roll off of Jandice Barov; possibly the best because it allows you to fully preserve the Health of the other 5-Drop you summon. As a card by itself, it's fine. Probably not going to see play on its own, but you will know its name because of Jandice.
It will probably be ignored when played. Could drop Baron Rivendare next turn for ultimate value.

i remember seeing cards like this in other expansions that never saw play
I really was expecting more deathrattles than the handful we received. This one is nonetheless possibly the best of the lot, but it still doesn't feel as powerful as my expectations. Warrior could most def make use of that one.
As a standalone card, it's probably not very good. Getting a 5/8 with taunt is massive, though.
The real value of this card is its buff to Jandice Barov, and as a target for Death Speaker Blackthorn and the other deathrattle synergies that DH was given this expansion. Can't wait to try out that archetype.

At least the Demonspawn has Taunt, but it's still pretty slow. Maybe something for Demon Hunter.
Its for Death Speaker Blackthorn. Basically the only deathrattle in Barrens even worth talking about.
Problem with this card is basically the same with other cards like it, its too slow. Outside of dedicated deathrattle decks, you won't be seeing much of this guy.
Hunter and dhunter might slot this in somewhere, little else.

Obviously the tempo here is terrible when you play it, but a neutral 5/8 Demon with Taunt is relevant for N'Zoth, God of the Deep decks, so it could see some niche play there.
Way to slow
A more expensive Twilight Summoner. Super good when u find it with Jandice Barov, otherwise you need a specific deck where you can abuse the deathrattle

This will certainly be good in arena, and there are less silences available in standard so it's not terrible.
I can see this being good in some type of tavern brawl, otherwise it´s not very useful, maybe as a pull from Jandice as others mentioned before.

Unlikely to see constructed play, but the Deathrattle might be useful in some shenanigans in other game modes.

I'm always torn with these cards. It feels like it takes so long to get them to their full potential. You have to draw them, then you have to play them, and then they have to die. I suppose the DH legendary can help with some of that pain, but that won't be the most consistent play either.

This is a fun card in warlock with some self destroying cards, mostly because the body has taunt. It is quite expensive and might not see play because of that, but definitely some potential here

Really need a guaranteed way to activate reliably to see much play. Expect that presents enough of challenge that probably doesn't see much play.
Will most likely see play if a Deathrattle Demon Hunter deck works. But that's a big if. Other than that it's probably too slow and unreliable.

Unfortunately, too expensive for cheap Deathrattle DH
I know everyone will point to silence and say that this is a terrible card, which is somewhat valid. There is a lot of value here, but it's far from guaranteed. Still, it could be interesting in a deck built around whirlwind type effects. Since it only has 1 health, it should be pretty easy to ping it and get the token fairly quickly.

I mean it's a solid card, but I just don't know where this would fit. Deathrattle DH? No probably not. With Baron Rivendare and Play Dead this could be nasty, but there are better Deathrattles for that combo.

Ah, another one of these cards. Good in Arena, might see it from random effects. Baron Rivendare has popped back into the Core Set, but I don't see it working out.
Might be good in a sacrafice warlock. The spawn is a Demon so Kanrethad Ebonlocke can bring him back.

I don't think this will see play as a standalone card, but will hate seeing this card generated.
Reminds me of Twilight Summoner, which probably means the initial body is too slow and non-threatening for the cost to ever see play.
