Kazakusan disappearing ?

Until a few days ago almost every second deck was a Kazakusan deck. Now since a few days I have not met the dragon anymore! Is the same happening to you? (I am Diamond <5)

  • You have been lucky ;)

  • He technically got nerfed and there is a special group of people who think every nerf is a devastating move that absolutely requires you to push the disenchant button?

or you and I are just lucky

Disenchanting the card only to re-craft the card again is essentially the same thing as having not disenchanting the card.

Disenchanting the card, using that dust to craft another card, realizing you probably shouldn't have done that as the new card is worse than the nerfed card you just disenchanted, for some players that don't have tens of thousands of extra dust is basically a way of telling the game "I never want to own this card again" as the game also doesn't let you open the card in packs since you owned it previously.

Technically, after collecting all cards from that rarity you can open it again in packs (at random

I knew someone was going to say that.

Counter-Response:  The people I mention who don't have the dust to recraft a card they disenchant if they use the dust on something else. These are the same kind of people who aren't collecting every legendary in a set.

today to get dust and new cards as ftp is a joke, when i started ( Whispers of the Old Gods) if you had disenchanted a legendary for another was true that you never would have played it again (even completing the daily quests was an hard work for me and the rewards were so poor) now if you own a whole deck and disenchant only a legendary and you really want turn back and craft it again its really really doable even as newcomer

  • Every game I play is either against a questline, or someone stalling their way to Kazakus. This may be why I'm playing more MtGA of late :P

  • Theres only three classes that generally play Kazakusan; druid, priest and warrior.

Druid has been straying away from it nowadays, because old gods are simply just more consistent in terms of finishing the opponent, since locusts are gone from the pool. And you get to play more anti aggro, of which a kazakusan deck simply cannot do.

Priest and warrior have it but you might as well just forget about it, because they're rarely ever seen and generally the game's over way before they ever get to play kazakusan anyway.

Of course it also depends what you're playing. If you're running aggro decks, then obviously you'll never ever see that dragon out.

  • Ramp druid is 25% of the meta at top legend. Warrior is 5%.

Meaning that in total top legend players face a kazakusan deck once every three games (roughly).

So no, the card hasn't gone anywhere, unfortunately.
