Old Gods Miniset: Communion of Ahn'qiraj!

(For legal purposes, the details in this post is obviously a bit and this mini-set is actually my own personal creation. Anyway, hope you enjoy this mini-set! And lemme know what you think of the cards here~)

Guys, I heard with the recent AMA a few weeks back of the devs considering making "straight-to-Wild" cards, they're even going to make a mini-set??? For Whispers of The Old Gods??? Oh my god, right? And I happen to catch them making a new page for it before it actually releases, and they swiftly deleted it right after I refreshed the page...not before I took some screenshots and saved some cards though!

Here, you can see the hype blurb they've made about the mini-set, something about Old Gods getting new converts and getting stronger through the form of stronger cards? Ooooooo~

Here you can even see that they've thought ahead and already made a bundle image for these 4 new Legendaries, at 1500 Gold too, 500 Gold cheaper than the typical mini-set we've seen! Pretty cool, right? And I'll be posting those Legendaries...right now! Introducing the "leaked" cards!

Whoa, right, pretty powerful cards??? Damn! Lemme know what you think of these cards, Blizzard needs to know that we know about this!

  • I did NOT expect them to release a mini-set for a Wild set. This looks so cool!

    • Hey dude, this is actually a set I made by myself lol, I've made some disclaimers at the start and the end of the post, thank you for believing that this is made by Blizzard though XD

      • I was ready to believe. I ignored the Hearthcards formatting, since it's been used for leaked or not yet translated cards, and they did happen to very occasionally use art from boss fights (see Roll the Bones).

  • The only thing here that's interesting would be the pricing. At 10 bucks, or 1500 gold, that's a hefty reduction. Don't know what made upper management sign on that design document, but if true then its at very least not really expensive.

    Sad thing here would be that its wild only, and we all know the state of wild as it stands. These cards really got to pack a lot to even be remotely viable. Otherwise, its only true attraction would be for die hard wild fans.

  • I like the expansion very much, but some of the C'thun cards are a bit busted. Druid and Warrior have ways to make it grow real fast, which wouldn't be too bad if it wasn't for that Sara Neutral legendary.

    Otherwise, pretty good expansion. I really like the Old Gods flavor.

    • Just fyi, if Sara triggered C'Thun's Battlecry, she will always just deal 5 damage instead, so it doesn't work the way you think it would be lol
