Seems like a very good way for a Control deck to keep up corpses.
Amazing weapon. This is only 2 mana after Runeforging and you can tutor this out of your deck with [Hearthstone Card (Ruenforging) Not Found]. It's a nice Fiery War Axe with the ability to get some corpses, which Blood DK enjoys. This also seems pretty good in Frost/unholy DK as well, because its a decent aggresive weapon and has corpse generation. This seems like a good all-around good weapon.
How does this work? Split an enemy in half and that counts as two corpses?
Pedantry aside, this weapon is core in full blood decks because of the absence of corpse generators. Since most hearthstone games dont tend to last all that long, and blood decks needing at least 6+ corpses, this weapon is the only way to do it without having to play minions the deck may not ever need aside from them being dead.
But soon as there's better corpse generators, I'd imagine this to be chopped off itself.
Decent corpse generator, especially when turning your opponent's minions into corpses. This could fit into a low minion type of control DK where you just want to run a few big minions but still rely on corpses. Could even slot into a 2x Unholy + 1x Blood combo deck for extra corpse generation.
Its has a 1 blood rune requirement. So it can't fit into frost/unholy, unless its one for each rune.
Fortunately, for all of us, the best frost cards are all 3 rune cards, so it cant get more OP than it already is.
So when one minion dies to this, it leaves two bodies huh? Makes sense. Otherwise this is a Fiery War Axe. 'Nuff said.
It's two for one special!
Seems pretty vital for Blood DKs, getting corpses without needing to rely on minion density.
Decent stats and a good effect, should be enough to see some play!
