Those viewing times don't look right. Is it really 6 pm to 1 pm each day (a 19 hour event that goes from early evening to afternoon the next day) or is it 6 am to 1 pm (a 7 hour event that goes from morning until afternoon)? The apparant error is in the official announcement.
It is nice to get free stuff, thanks Blizzard.
I watched over 10 hours last time and only got 1 RoS pack. Hopefully i don’t get robbed of a pack again for running this in a tab all day while I’m working!
Think I heard Captain america say that you have to have the tab unmuted or the player unmuted in order to count as a watcher, cant remember which.
Thanks for the heads up guys! :)
Do you know if have to turn on the twich channel at the beggining hour? Or can I do it some hours before (when they have no transmission) and it will start to follow the champoinship when it beggins?
I guess in spain will be 2AM. I really need to wake up to turn on the pc?
Thanks!
I wasn't able to watch the last time they had an event like this, so I used the strategy you suggest. I ended up only getting one of the two packs. YMMV, but it's probably still worth trying.
Thanks! I'll try it, I hope it works! ;-)
In theory you could open a channel in advance and it will start playing when the broadcast starts. In practice, Twitch isn't all that reliable and playback can hang when switching video (broadcast start or from/to commercials). I don't know if that matters for pack drops though: it would depend on whether you're actually disconnected from the channel or only from the video feed.
If only they did their pick a winner AND the stream giveaway ...
Not like 4-9 free packs will get your Uldum fill for the average Hearthstone player ...
/Twitch playing in background and Dishonored 2 next weekend?
I have no time for games streams 😂
It's rather sad to see how Blizz tries to encourage players to watch their streams... Most of viewers are just doing something else/ are away from the computer and just let the stream play for packs.
Yup, i said it the last time, really disheartening that they are basically buying views. I mean free stuff is nice and all, but i would prefer if they made the tournaments interesting with interesting gameplay first and foremost. Lets hope the new expansion can help with that.
As a person in Europe guess I'm leaving computer on all night :) Good luck with pack drops everyone.
I'll have a tab open, that's for sure ^^
