The Call of Cho'gall!

Hey, made these cards while working on my Burning Legion set. Decided they didn't fit there, but I like them on their own. Something for a special event? Part of a new Old God's set maybe? I started adding the other 4 classes, but the flavor felt off and there are only so many interesting spells to do this with.

these are pretty cool! the main issue I have with them is that because the effects are opposite, you would never actually want to play them in a deck, they either do just what you want or the exact opposite of it.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Both options of the warrior card are good aoe, I think that its the only one good card.
By The Holy Light!
Chieften of Chaos seems pretty frustrating to play against. I like the Warrior and Warlock ones though
Gosh dang it, cards bad.
The flavour is verygood, but Cho’gall himself appears to be pretty bad. I mean, 50/50 draw some cards or lose the game? Lol.
The other cards are cool tho, I can imagine some pretty funny moments from them.
This ain't no place for a hero
People complain about rng.. And then people design those custom cards, the rng on those are just awful it's a coin flip of win/lose the game with no control over it.
Actually this Cho'gall isn't bad at all, if played in a Zoodeck as 5-Mana Deathwing, but with a bit of RNG u fill your hand as well. The rest, esp the mage one is garbage.
I really like the flavor, but those cards are pretty horrible from balance standpoint, be it too weak or too strong. I like the idea, but maybe have them cast effects that wont make the game a 50/50 coin flip as to who wins or loses on the spot.

Yeah, the general complaint seems to be that these are bad or are terrible coinflips. And yeah... that's kinda true? Only the Tyrant of Terror would see actual play as as an extra copy of brawl, with the chance of nuke yourself hard and not clearing large minions. The rest are pretty big gambles, so big you wouldn't intentionally include this in a deck unless you absolutely needed another board clear.
I kinda imagine these cards as being too bad to put a in a deck, but good enough to be picked off a discover effect in a desperate moment.
And yeah, flavor maybe over-ruled game balance in their design. At 4 mana, they're just too good to potentially crush an agro opponent. At 5 mana, they're highly questionable, you'd more likely run the card they cast (if it is standard).
No that warrior one is also sh-t. Why do you should use this one over Brawl? Right, there is no reason to do it. Cho'gall was the only one that could see some play, if this were real cards, because a cheap hard removal with a chance getting your hand refilled.
You'd run the warrior one if you wanted more than 2 brawls. Currently Warpath is often run alongside Brawl in control warriors, wild and standard. Bouncing Blade and Plague of Wrath are other alternatives but they're too weak. Control Warrior wants to have more than 2 board clears.
Thought of this, still feelsbad to play against, 5 mana reset the board and refill your hand 50% of the time as an aggro deck.. great design.
The only way to save such design is if the effects have the same purpose and close in power level, like the brawl guy he is close to a good balance since both are board clears so you are fine with either one but both are good in the same situation (that being said warrior DOES NOT need another board clear).
Randomly cast [Hearthstone Card (scroll of wonders) Not Found] or Cabalist's Tome would be better since both create random spells
Plague of Flames would be played instead. Infinitely more reliable and cheaper, if EVER a Zoolock should want to fight for the board with anything that is not minion power.
PS: these minions could still fit a themed Brawl.
I disagree. Tyrant of Terror is actually pretty strong. 5 dmg aoe generally clears lots of board states and 5 face damage is nothing for warrior, but helps you get some face damage on your opponent; and when it does cast Brawl, it gives added value in throwing one more friendly minion into the mix - itself. This card would easilly see play in any warrior deck. I actually think that it could be balanced at 6 mana, maybe even Epic rarity. At 5 mana, you would see it everywhere 100%.
