Might be quite fun if not really any good in costructed, but oh boy the power level of this card in arena.
Meme power level it's over 9000!
Dumb but fun. Getting a hand or deck full or legendaries with Rafaam is one thing, and usually isn't even great. This is just ... for fun only, I think.
Bootleg Rafaam
That´s a very strong arena card, that can make lower and more consistent curve decks compete with heavyer ones if they can transform one or two small drops into legendaries late game.
In constructed, you don´t want random legendaries. Old control warrior used Elise to slow fatigue and to transform the answers it had not used in the end of the game, not midway trough the deck.
Quest Warlock. Play this card. Play Plot Twist. Legendary! Zoolock. Play this card. Play Plot Twist. Legendary!
You can also play it in a Rogue Galakrond deck for the memes.
Also, it's crazy in Arena.
it's a good card on status, better than River Crocolisk, so i'm already im love with it. im gonna craft two golden =D
I'm pretty sure this was printed to mess with the Lackey that summons a random 2 drop.
This card remind me of the Golden Monkey in a way. It's a win more card with a soft taunt. It's not really reliable as transforming your answers into probably crappy legendaries will happen often (in wild for sure), but fun enough to be a day one craft for me. In standard, it might be ok if more meaty legendaries are released.
I think this is just going to be a meme card, should be pretty great in Arena though.
So difficult to accurately rate the card, because combined with Plot Twist you essentially have a DIY Arch-Villain Rafaam. This card likely won't be competitive, but it could enable some very fun decks, but as far as competitive play goes its going to be hard to see why you would play this.
Will it be played competitively? Absolutely not. Will there be great times had with meme decks? Absolutely. I was initially worried that this might replace Rafaam in Plot Twist Warlock, but it anti-synergizes with the Quest reward.
Interesting yet too incosistent
Unfortunately, it looks like this card is the first meme card released for DoD. The effect is too inconsistent to see any kind of competitive play I suspect.
It seems like Blizzard is looking for a way to make Plot Twist really fun for casual players who don't have a lot of legendaries to work with. It could also be fun for meme Mage decks? Transmogrifier+Research Project/Book of Specters/Arcane Intellect could act as a fun little combo.
For now, it seems like this card will just be for the memes.
Wait, if Transmogrifier is on board and you draw a spell with Book of Specters, will it discard or do you just have consistent "Draw 3 random legendaries"?
That's a great question... I'm not sure, but I suspect the discard happens before the on-board effect. If not, then a turn 4 Transmogrifier+Book of Specters will be a nasty draw combo. Regardless, I guess we'll have to test this once it comes out.

If there was a bigger indicator that blizzard really wants Plot Twist to be playable, this would be it.
Put this in zoo along with plot twist and turn your garbage hand into gold. Makes us all wonder how much more unplayable Arch-Villain Rafaam can get. Even drawing 2-3 cards from this makes this good enough to see play. Certainly waiting to see which class uses this best.
