  • I think people aren't being fair by comparing it to Chameleos or Zerus. The pool is more limited than Zerus, and it contains only legendary minions, which tend to have the strongest effects in the game. Also, those effects are always added to a 5/5/5 body, meaning it will be a play that gives you advantage whenever it has a positive effect (which will be 90 % of the time). Lastly, holding onto it isn't as risky as with the other two, because the cost is adjusted and you'll be always able to play it the next turn if you think you can hold your position, make other plays and wait for a better option. I don't know if I'd go as far as to say it will be a Shaman staple, but it will see way more play than Chameleos and Zerus for sure

  • Maybe it is best if you don't read this as "transform this minion into a random legendary every turn" and start reading it as a 5 mana 5/5 that gains the effect of a random legendary every turn. This will always be a 5 mana 5/5, and sometimes you will roll a very bad legendary, but most of the time it will do enough to be worth it.

Here is a list of all legendaries in Hearthstone. Legendary Archives - Hearthstone Top Decks. Most of them are at least playable as a 5 mana 5/5, very few of them are un-playable, but about 80% of them (this is a very rough estimate) are at least playable as a 5/5 on 5, and some of them are just straight up broken.

Trust me, this will be amazing in midrange shaman.

  • ehm. interesting versatile card but not exactly what you would want to put in your deck... i guess. seems like a not so great power card that does not offer reliable synergy with your deck. 5 mana tirion sounds good though

  • This is a really interesting card. The fact that it keeps its cost at 5 mana means you could get some really greedy high cost legendarys with a big discount. That’s pretty cool but this is still an unreliable RNG card that may be too slow even for the greediest Shaman decks. I’m getting Chameleos vibes from this.

  • Most Legendaries have powerful effects, but many have the drawbacks of being either very costly, having crappy stats, or both. This card is always gonna be decent stats for a decent cost, and potentially with a hugely beneficial effect attached to it.

I think it's a lot better than people are giving it credit for.

  • It has the issues of Chameleos and Shifter Zerus, but the strength of Floop.  I personally like him a lot since he seems like a fun card that can make for some pretty cool moments, but he's too inconsistent for non-meme constructed.

  • If this stays at 5 mana it could be very good in any control-oriented Shaman that just needs an unpredictable move to gain advantage.

If it changes cost but is still 5/5, that's just bad...

  • Seems quite decent. Much better than Shifter Zerus since it picks from a smaller pool of minions with a greater average power level and most importantly stays at 5 mana (at least I would assume it does). It might be included in a deck that has a free slot but you usually don't want that randomnes in constructed. Might be one of the top 5 legendaries in arena, and easy insta pick there, unless it competes with Tyrion or something of that power level.

  • This guy comes to show us the awful truth, the game have a lot of bad lagendarys and he gonna roll all of then.

    • This wouldn't go in a deck that has to play him on turn 5 no matter what he morphed into. In a slower deck, you can afford to wait until he morphs into something good. Yes, there are a lot of bad legendaries, but not so many that you'd roll a bad one every turn.

  • I think this guy's potentially stronger than folks give 'em credit for. Yeah, RANDOM isn't always good, but with this set's list of powerful late game cards and battlecries this guy could put pressure on your opponent as early as turn 5

Also 5 mana Alexstrasza (no, not the new one) would be sick

  • Looks like Blizzard doesn't want to give Shaman more strong cards - this is just a meme. A good meme though.

  • Love the card design, but I doubt it will see play

  • Meme Muckmorpher!! I love how it resembles the original.

  • Memedary! It's not going to see competitive play, that's for sure. The Legendaries for Shaman this expansion are bad.

  • sucks. 0/5

  • wow so bad

  • Meme card at its best. Funny that it can transform into itself though.

If chameleos didn't see play this one doesn't really stand much of a chance isn't it.

  • Random legendary pool does include Legendaries from other classes?
