Interesting card. Though seems to benefit the Warrior more than the Rogue.
I want to try this out in a weapon heavy Hack the System deck.
I wonder if this can fit in a pirate warrior deck.
I think this is a good card for Warrior, for Rogue im not so sure ... in Rogue it looks pretty weak to me right now, because most of the time the Rogue Weapon will be the one from the Hero Power ... maybe they will print a new weapon ...
Right now i think this will only see play in Warrior.
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
This name is perfect! ;-) Obviously the Scholamance cheerleading group is called the Fluffies.
I like the mix-up, summon equal to armor size was already done, and this could work in Kingsbane decks- if you play a slow one.
The tempo-based version of pirate warrior can probably get a 3 or 4 drop out of this fairly consistently, but is that worth it? I'm not sure.
If this was a pirate, I think it could see play as a curve-topper for pirate decks in both classes, but as it stands I think this won't see a huge amount of play.
Obviously interesting in kingsbane rogue, where it could act as a spiteful summoner.
This post is discussing the wild format.
Warriors have high attack weapons by default, and rogue has Deadly Poison and the added reliability of having a weapon on command. Traditionally warrior would make better use of it, but we've had rogue using 15+ attack weapons before so who knows for sure. I kind of hope the other rogue/warrior cards don't let them take each other's approach to this, because I think dual-class cards will be more interesting when the two classes have their own unique spin.
Interesting card, but needs more support to shine.
By The Holy Light!
Too much RNG and you usually won't summon any besonders high cost minions without building your whole deck around it.

I think many ppl will try to look for extreme scenarios with this card and say that it isn't worth it. But in reality, even having equipped 1/2 dagger is already worth it! Anything better is just a bonus! This card will be a very strong tempo play, if you can get something like Fiery War Axe or Hooked Scimitar before T4 to set this up.

Really doesn’t seem that great given that neither class really runs weapons with that high attack at this point. Gorehowl would pretty much be the best case scenario, but that card hasn’t seen play in ages
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
I'm not too sure how I feel about this card. It'd work better in a deck where weapons are easily buffed, but most Rogue/Warrior decks with weapons aren't running a consistent amount. Most of the time, this summons a (2) / (3)-cost minion which I suppose is 'good' on Turn 4.
Started playing HS in May, 2015. The bad news: I missed the excitement of 'Naxx out?' and GvG. The good news: I never met an Undertaker.
Too difficult to evaluate at the moment. We can make better judgement calls ocne we've seen the whole set and what other support there is.
In any case, weapons are always strong and if you ssomewhat reliably can curve into this with on it's a huge tempo boost. All Rogue really needs atm is a genuine finisher
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Statwise its okay, but it consumes a deckslot, making it less attractive in a galakrond deck. That will mostly translate into this not going to be played until galakrond rotates for me.
A solid card for aggro, but is aggro a thing for both warrior and rogue? Current iterations of warrior and rogue seem to indicate no as the answer.
The moderate cost with a relatively hard requirement means it's just too specific to be good. Sometimes it'll work, but not often enough to be viable. That is, unless we get some better weapons and/or support.
reminds me of Spiteful Summoner(mostly due to statline + reward) but no deck restriction.. sure no 10 drop but you can get a 5 attack weapon and get a huge swing only for 4 mana..
I think this is probably a good card, but I'm unsure if the decks for it will exist. It reminds me a lot of Bloodsworn Mercenary.
A normal weapon damage is around 3 for aggro decks, which makes this a 4 mana 7/7 drop approximately and that is really good.
Seems generally weaker in rouge than warrior since rouge relies more on buffing its weapons then them having the raw stats like in warrior it'll be interesting to see how this card panes out.
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
before I give a formal review I just want to say I'm DELIGHTED to see more of Genzoman's artwork in Hearthstone.
Now then -
This card is really good tempo since you can get about 5-9 worth of mana for the price of 4 mana.
That said this card will probably be NOT good ON tempo unless your playing warrior, since Rogue's weapons are generally pretty weak and disposable unless you're using Deadly Poison (I will not consider wild options, those are just too many to cover).
Warriors on the other hand CAN play this on curve since they're best cheap weapon, Fiery Waraxe is 3/2 for 3 mana, which makes this lady a 7 mana turn for 4. Other weapons Warrior might play with this lady is Arcanite Reaper, Wrenchcalibur and Gorehowl. If Corsair Cache was still giving +1 attack this lady would be viable in pirate lists.
Now, Rogues can use weapons like the Mirage Blades, Hooked Scimitars or Waggle Pick with this lady but I have not seen those weapons in the Galakrond deck lists and I'm not sure if this gal is enough to warrant their return.
My head went straight to wild with this card... Kingsbane and Death's Bite. Both have the potential to bring about something great mid/late game. Rogue isn't concerned with bringing a big swinger at any point, just a bunch of pesky threats that mount up so paying 4 mana for 4/4 and something else is a bonus. Warrior though... they drop heavies easy. This I think will find it's way into a lot of aggro decks.
I am not too sure about this card, it has a lot of potential, but if you don't have a weapon than this is worse than Chillwind Yeti. I could see you playing this in kingsbane rogue, or maybe burgle rogue with either the quest or Spectral Cutlass. Or in a Pirate warrior deck with some extra weapon buffs. The only thing keeping me from really liking this card is that you may not have a weapon when you draw it. If you get it to trigger them tempo swing is huge.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Can't wait to see what this does when paired with Kingsbanein wild, lol. Get ready for nightmares.

As it currently stands I don't see this card being too relevant in standard. Weapons don't get that much attack right now in either class and while not much is needed for a good play, the investment and unreliability make it too clunky to run over more consistent cards.
People are thinking about using this to summon really high cost minions but I don't think thats what its made/going to be good for. Seems like a strong tempo on curve type of play. If face rogue that uses weapons is a thing, this is a strong card.
Just curving after a Hooked Scimitar is strong. 4/4 + a random 4 drop is good tempo, and four drops have some good highrolls. Even if it's just a deadly poison on your hero power dagger, 4/4 + a random 3 drop is reasonable.
For warrior it kind of depends what new weapon they get. Not many decent attack weapons for warrior right now, most of them are played for their effects. I suppose its not bad if you curve after a war axe (ideally after you played Imprisoned Gan'arg on 1) but that definitely isn't a reason to play the card.
It would definitely need some early weapon support for both classes but we're obviously still super early in the set.
I really admire the creativity of this card, and I haven't quite seen an effect like this anywhere before.
The effect is pretty neat, and has pretty cool utility for both classes. Perhaps both classes might get decent weapon buffs in this set? That would just make it all the better.
This can be some insane Tempo. Thank god Corsair Cache no longer gives +Attack.
Cool card with great flavor! Great for warrior with all those heavyweight weapons. If this was a pirate we would never see the end of it...
Warrior: This is decent for warrior, as they have a lot of high attack weapons like Wrenchcalibur and Gorehowl. not sure if this will be enough to make a Hack the System deck any good. This card MUST be the reason that [Hearthstone Card (Corsair cash) Not Found] got nerfed.
In wild this might see play in a more meme deck with Bladed Gauntlet, and it would work similarly to a Spiteful Summoner deck? Would be fun to see.
Rogue: The best weapons for rogue has 4 attack (in standard), these are: Waggle Pick and Hooked Scimitar. These cards were mainly used in tempo decks, so i guess Steeldancer is more of a FACE rogue card? So i'm guessing this will see play in stealth rogue, alongside Hooked Scimitar because you can curve them together (turn 3 Combo Hooked Scimitar into turn 4 Steeldancer. Waggle Pick is too slow as you will have to play Waggle Pick Turn 4, and then Steeldancer turn 5. Also Waggle Pick has a chance to accidentally Shadowstep the summoned minion.
In wild this might see play in a Kingsbane deck, but Kingsbane Rogue has fallen flat for a long time (ever since they nerfed Leeching Poison.) I don't think this card will make Kingsbane Rogue viable, as Kingsbane Rogue needs a slow WILD meta to thrive. And i don't think ODD DH and Secret Mage are going to slow down whatsoever.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Interesting card and perfect in a tempo deck (probably a tempo warior). For now is too difficult to evaluate, but in the right deck can be a strong turn 4
Insane card in arena. Below average in constructed because it's too situational and clunky if not paired with a weapon.
Weapon Warrior slowly becoming more viable one expansion at a time.
Play on Turn 3 for 8 mana value on Turn 4.
a (4) 4/4 that comes with a + X/X depending on how much you buffed that blade ?!

In all seriousness, I think this will be on a watchlist for possible nerf candidate.
We will see
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Oh noooo ... not an other 4 mana 7/7 ; will Team5 ever learn? ^^
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Summoning random minions with cost equal to _______ seems to be a theme this expansion. If the card is decently statted to begin with (like a 4 mana 4/4), I think it will be really good.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
Might see play if there are some busted weapons being printed, but i don't have much faith in that.
So there's a steeldancing club in scholomance, yes obvious support for weapon deck, and i thing this can help hack warrior a bit.
Mhe... this will summon a ton of 1's
Will try to make this work if I get it
Lemushki - The one and only since the 2006 rebranding.
I think this will see play more in warrior than rogue, but I might be surprised.
Seems alright but I'm sure if it will be good enough.
Nice tempo card for rougue
Nice stats with a nice effect for the classes with alot of weapons. This should have been the legendary instead of infiltrator lilian
All hail the banshee queen.
It looks to be a good card with a good effect. I think weapon removal is going to become more important once again.
Really cool new idea, but I think it's going to be too slow/inconsistent.
Maybe aggro decks run it, but it just doesn't seem like it will be consistent enough in Warrior or strong enough payoff for Rogue.
As good as [Hearthstone Card (Spiteful Summoner) Not Found]. Awesome card.
Very good if you get lots of weapon buffs on it early on.
They are really pushing the weapon theme with Rogue/Warrior. Maybe a little too midrangy, but shows that Blizz can truly support a strat when they want to (looking at you Frost Shammy).
I'd like to see this card work well with Doctor Krastinov and some new weapons, I'm hopeful.
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
I do not know how reliable it wil be
-=alfi=-
I am seeing all of these new weapon based cards and I'm beginning to worry. Oil Rogue was terrifying.
Thanks to denial, I'm immortal.

Wet Warrior Dreams
Looking forward to weapon Rogue/Warrior this expansion.
Quick! Someone give me something clever to write here.
The only deck in standard right now that cares about having high attack weapons is Pirate Warrior, which I couldn't even fit this into my Pirate Warrior as you aren't likely to have your high attack weapon by turn 4 and you have better plays post-turn 4. Maybe this sees play in Rogue with Hooked Scimitar, but I think that will prove to be inconsistent to have both of those cards curve into each other. Overall, this card seems awkward to line up on curve in standard, but I think this has potential in wild, especially with Kingsbane.
For glory, honor, and gold!
It has good stats and the effect itself is also very good. I'm looking forward to playing around with this card.
Feels a little random, but in the end a 4 mana 4/4 that summons... anything is pretty good, honestly, so this isn't actually all that bad.
