Are murkeye and captain's parrot tied to achievements now? I swear when achievements came out I got a second copy of them despite already having the old hidden quest completed.
Wonder if Finely could be dropped on us as a limited event in July, since not far out from that moment would be the launch of the next expansion. There is no cow level is also an interesting tidbit.
Anyway, free Tyrael is pretty awesome, and can't wait to see any new budget comps that show up. Although not looking forward to the coming bundles, hopefully the cost is well rationalized because I'd purchase all 6 Naga in a heartbeat lol (Still need Balinda)
When I first read this, I thought what's he talking about? You use coins for abilities upgrade, yes, but equipment?
So, I opened the game up & opened the first mercenary; clicked the space below the first equipment - Surprise! I thought that most of my mercenaries were Maxed, but when I started clicking & going through each one, only then did most of them say Maxed. So, I maxed more than half & didn't have nearly as many excess coins as I thought I did.
I'm so glad I figured this out & if it weren't for carefully reading this article I would have never known.
Depends on the legendary itself. So far, none of those really intrigue me personally. And no, with 5 packs from the season reward, I reckon I'll get 'majority' of miniset commons, and some rares. I don't think I'll go as far as spending 20packs just for rares and commons.
I think Portal is as much a risk as Exploding Potato, especially when you're doing a heroic run. It denies you treasures that would make the final encounter easier to complete, slows down your progression for many tasks, and screws up your plans in various other ways (for example, say you had an early casualty but you were counting on a Spirit Healer behind the Mystery Node to revive them).
Those are some of the most interesting mercs so far, but it's still very sad that we won't get any of the announced features (one of which was announced 9 months ago) for atleast 4 months from now.
Overall, I'm really excited for all the new content we're getting for Mercenaries. I only expected 8-10 new mercenaries (and related bounties), so having double that amount is quite surprising!
The one negative is the new Mystery Node option: I thought the new system was replacing all the old options, not being added to them. That makes Mystery Nodes quite unappealing, as you're very likely to get saddled with a negative effect that will complicate or even ruin your run if you pass through them:
Curse
Exploding Potato
Portal
There's also Sabotage, which is neutral, in my opinion. The remaining 2 options will give you extra coins. I don't see how it's worth it compared to the risks.
Queen Azshara's Xal'athat has the potential to create a Shadow counterpart to the classic Nature team. Add N'Zoth and use his third equipment to heal your whole team for 6 at the start of every round, before any abilities trigger! The only downside is that most Shadow users are casters, with only 1-2 medium fighters.
AMAZING Big Paladin tool If there is any BIG deck that has a good chance of being a good deck, it's paladin. Paladin already has a bunch of BIG paladin support from last expansion, and Front Lines can also be very good alongside Ambassador Faelin in order to fish up some big collossals, but that honestly sounds a bit more memey.
It's a bit expansive, however Paladin has amazing survival tools such as Lightforged Cariel in order to actually survive untill they can play Front Lines. Also paladin has plenty of board wipes they can play before they cast Front Lines. Also BIG Paladin can counter lots of battlecry-heavy decks thanks to Front Lines.
Very good card! With a good draw engine like this one, maybe more kinds of paladin decks show up. Wow i love how Holy Maki Roll went from "meh" to probably a core card for nearly all paladin decks lol.
Thank YOGG that Librams rotated.
Speaking of wild, this will be an incredible card for wild paladin decks. Libram paladin will love this, and The Last Kaleidosaur decks just keep winning slowly but surely.
insta-include for MOST paladin decks. Just a reminder that most paladin decks right now ALREADY run mostly paladin cards + only a couple neutral cards. This slots into so many decks.
In wild this might just slot into some kind of Libram paladin decks, and of course Pure Paladin.
Seems like a decent card actually, considering most arcane spells are pretty cheap. Also if you play this on turn 2, and it dies immidiately you can still have a chance to play a 3 or less cost arcane spell.
Actually in standard you have 2x a 1/3 chance of getting a card you cant play (9 spells total, Mass Polymorph, Arcane Overflow and Arcane Brilliance are the only cards you cant play on turn 3 if a Submerged Spacerock dies on turn 2/3.) Hmm those odds are a bit high tbh, but at least the odds of getting at least 1 decent card is good. And a 2 drop can contest board, and give you a play on turn 3. So i still think it's probably a decent card.
OH and of course, in wild this might fit into a few casino mage decks even if it doesn't give permanent spells.
So this might seem bad, but i think this fits well into some kind of burn/otk deck. Also mage in standard only has Mass Polymorph as a transform effect, so it might just see play because mage likes Polymorph effects that are cheap.
In wild it probably only sees play in some kind of OTK deck, because it's a spell and you can use Incanter's Flow and other cost reduction effects to discount it. But as just a transform effect, Devolving Missiles is way better in almost every situation.
Not bad, good to include in a bunch of mage decks. It's just a pretty fair but still good card. I think this will see plenty of play, if only because it can generate armor in a clase that struggles with lifegain.

If they're playing a combo deck, and you Dredge one of their combo pieces and make it cost a few mana extra, that's game-winning.
Yeah that's true... Although I don't have in mind which combo's have one offs of something that is less than 6 mana... I'm not saying there isn't any, just that I can't think of any right now.
I would think that, in general, if you look to disrupt (again talking wild) dirty rat would normally be better.
Further into the depths of the sunken city is the throne of the tides where Neptulon and Ozumat have a clash. Guarding the path inside are the Oceancrafters which are responsible for keeping the very state of the ocean as is, lest a Cataclysmic Opening were to occur.
Miniset released at the first day of new season, and that's a good thing, because players have plenty of time to wait before deciding if it actually good and buys the miniset.
Me personally, I'll wait for at least 2 weeks before deciding. Honestly, as of now, I can't see any good with the Legendaries, and I don't wanna spend 2000 golds on 4 of them. The rares and commons are easy to get with packs, and cheap too (I got some free dust for rares/commons)
- Priest got shafted. All their cards kinda only fits highlander and quest, and both archetype suck
Actually, I'm playing my take on Quest Priest on ladder and this is a very good meta to climb with it. Of course, if the opponent gets perfect cards, it can beat you, but otherwise it is a really good deck. Against attrition decks you win with Shard, against midrange/tempo you win with value cards. I love the 8 mana Whirlpool.
Your list must be superior to the ones Ive seen. For the most part quest priest feels very clunky, it never feels like the deck is in control of what is happening around it. I havent lost to one from the start of the expansion yet. The closest I came to a loss was with handbuff pally where my hand stunk like cat droppings and skipped the first three turns. Didnt really get going until turn 5, and my opponent had more cards in hand than myself. And yet somehow I still managed to win it.
I tried it once myself, and then never again. The loss of Palm Reading and Renew really hurt its viability, and I dont think any of the new cards would change anything. I say that they fit highlander and quest, but only because I cant see them fit anywhere else.

Hearthstone's Wild Packs to Receive Legacy Set Cards in This Week's Game Update
I understand not including Reward and Promo cards in packs, but keeping the replacement Classic cards as craftable-only seems like a weird decision.

Is Portal really bad? You dont get the treasures but you save some time since, IMO, you really shouldnt be relying on treasures to win a boss fight.
