Well i guess Mecha-Shark could see a nerf. That is true, but i do not think he is the real problem. Sure he is strong but the card that makes every mech cheaper and the new Amalgam are 2 cards that make the Shark even stronger than he is.
But i also see many different decks online, not just mech mage, sure there are some games i've hit 3 mech mage in a row but most of the time i queue in a game i hit different decks. At least for now :)
And I thought meta will be little slower. I tried to play slower control decks and that's my experience:
- mech mage - generates tons of mechs and discount them, fills the board fast, kills you with Mecha-Sharks combo mostly
- quest hunter - annoying as always, not many changes, he will kill you fast or lose steam to do this
- mech paladin - strong, you need constantly clear his board or he will rape you with Bubblebot
- murLOCK - snowballs tremendously quick, without constant removals you will lose very fast
- curse warlock - slower than murLOCK but more annoying, curses also snowball very fast especially with Brann Bronzebeard and Tamsin Roame and they are uncounterable, removing them only slows you down, before you know it you will end with 4 curses in hand and 20 dmg to face
- quest pirate warrior - probably the slowest aggro now, not much threat now
- quest priest - if playing against aggro all the time wasn't annoying enough then you must to fight against ultimate control deck which always outplays other control decks
Didn't meet any DK, Rogue or Shaman (and that strange, freeze shaman should counter many of these decks), also very few Druids (without Lightning Bloom they are much much slower and no Cenarion Ward to save their asses).
This early, Mecha-Shark and Switcheroo feels like potential nerf targes. Also, discover is super strong with this limited card pool, I think I discovered 4 new The Leviathan in the same game. But I haven't played a lot tbh.
Hope they come through for you. I mean to ask the devs on Twitter to at least consider an extension, sounds like many of us didn't exactly stand much of a chance to react.
None of these legendaries excite me, so I haven't built any decks for now. I really feel like my days of playing Hearthstone are coming to an end, but we'll see...I'm still interested in playing Reno decks, I think that's what I'll focus on for this expansion.
Im not sure how team will address this problem, except nerfing boar or changing Switcheroo altogether. Its actually doing the same thing with twinfin/deathwing in standard too, but that is a much, much less problem than what wild is facing right now.
It does, but that's a class limited solution. Warriors can also deal with them by gaining more than 10 armor and kill both boars.
Also even if boar is nerfed there's still Bluegill Warrior and Wolfrider. They're slower sure, but still the same problems.
I guess there is a neutral option, in the form of Blademaster Okani, but I suspect that's far too late. Its still an option though.
Yeah, I thought of that card and Hecklebot. They're both kinda too late to be played.
There's also one more option, which is Deathlord. But you still have to have a way to kill it. But hilariously these are simply too slow to counter this deck.

100% agree, this deck has to be nerfed - they nerfed Darkest Hour Warlock for being similarly coinflippy but this is even worse and that one had more actual counters.
I never thought I would hate a deck more than Ignite Mage, but Switcheroo Priest came to my life and slapped me in the face. It's pretty much the C'thun Maxima Hunter deck but twice faster.
From my experience playing against them, they always manage to play their Switcheroo at turn 3 (Twice at turn two with a coin). They have a lot of cards that discover spells (Thrive in the Shadows, Illuminate, Shadow Visions) and good early game control.
I have no idea how to counter the deck. I've played Mech paladin with Annoy-o-Tron and then they just silence them. And even if they don't silence them, they can just kill them and proceed to ram my face with 40 damage. The only counter I can think of is Weasel Tunneler but that would mean that I have to put a card that's essentially useless in any other match, draw it before turn 3, kill it myself, and hope that it messes up their combo.
Yes, they automatically lose if they draw either boar or the Darkness, but that would mean that the way they lose is dependent on whether or not they're lucky. Which is you know, uninteractive.
My main problem with Switcheroo priest is that it's the combination of the fact that it's viable and quintessentially uninteractive. I hope team 5 addresses this AT LEAST in the first week, because this is just making the game not fun. Whenever I play against them, I'm not even playing a game, I'm just watching a video of a dude with a wide grin flipping me off. At least that's how it feels like.
Also, I'm 0 days old since I've learned that "Uninteractive" is not an actual word.
Same but with Faelin lol. I put in a ticket asking them if I could get it refunded since I was like 4 hours outside of the window at the time that I saw this article
And the mana cheating is still totally out of control. 1 Mana 16/16 from druid on turn 5.... after the achievments are finished I will quit Standard for at least 3 months. x_X
Priest: 3 mana 24 / 24 with rush. How is this any balanced?
There is no skill left in HS. All there is today is rng highroll nonsense.
Control is broken again. All I see is control Pala, control Druid, control Priest, control Warrior... very few Pirate Warrior and Mech Mages where the 1 mana 4/3 deal 12 random damage the only broken aggro card is.
I just want to farm the achievemts, but I don`t feel like play one of this infinite bullsh** decks with infinite heal, removals, card draw, value...
Which cards are most overtuned in VtSC and why is it mech mage?

Mech Mage in Voyage to the Sunken City - Celebrate Wild Week With Our Full Deck & Guide
Even nicer to vomit out sarcasm.
Go make and post a guide for your deck.
Switcheroo Priest is the most miserable deck I've ever played against.
Releasing Switcheroo at 3 Mana was a mistake. It should cost (4) like Prismatic Lens. And then also ban Boar from Wild format. On the contrary, Warlock can use Ritual of Doom on Deathlord to get an instant interruption. Mages also have Ice Block/Potion of Polymorph/Vaporize/Spellbender/Counterspell, Paladins have Judgment of Justice/Noble Sacrifice/Oh My Yogg!/Rebuke and Rogues have Evasion/Sudden Betrayal/Shenanigans.
How's everyone's Voyage going?
I haven't played a single game yet, but I did open 85 packs (bought with in-game gold). I got the following:
Raj Naz'jan
Colaque
Ini Stormcoil
Gaia, the Techtonic
Xhilag of the Abyss
Hedra the Heretic
None of these legendaries excite me, so I haven't built any decks for now. I really feel like my days of playing Hearthstone are coming to an end, but we'll see...I'm still interested in playing Reno decks, I think that's what I'll focus on for this expansion.
New Neutral Minion - Azsharan Sentinel
Deathrattle DH oh BOY
New Priest Spell - Switcheroo
Either they increase this cost or only health will be switched.
New Priest Minion - Priestess Valishj
I just got her and have no idea what to do with her.
I'm a Warrior/Hunter, Big Minion/Spell guy.
