  • New Demon Hunter Minion - Glaiveshark

Wow, this looks insanely strong! Nice Stats and the effect is pretty bonkers.

  • New Shaman Minion - Glugg the Gulper

Good card - not the best but not bad - could see play in midrange/control

  • New Neutral Minion - Smothering Starfish

I like it! Decent Stats and nice battlecry :)

  • Smothering Starfish is a New Card Revealed by Wowhobbs for Voyage to the Sunken City

    Pro

I don't mind a single Guardian, even if it is a big one. What annoys me though is Guardian into Guadian into Parrot into Parrot into Shudderwock with a Grumble somewhere down the line and Loatheb in between for good measure. There sure are some tech cards like Dragonbreath, the new Blademaster or Starfish, but you can only slot in so many tech cards without crippling your deck in other matchups. Maybe this is Blizzard's way to let people who weren't around at the time enjoy the feeling of OG Freeze Mage.

All that said, what REALLY annoys the hell out of me is that Guardian is still bugged sometimes. Every other time my opponent's minions get frozen by their own Guardian but thaw on my turn which is very problematic if it is their second or third Guardian turn and I wasn't able to clear the board in the meantime.

  • New Targon Spell - Celestial Wonder

This card would work well in a Yasuo Leona deck, for sure. Not sure that pairing has any hope of being viable, but if it does - this card goes in there.

In general, though, a fast speed double stun will definitely get played a fair bit, no question. Aphelios control decks will almost certainly be showing up, and they will 100% run this card.

  • New Piltover & Zaun Spell - Rocket Barrage

This is very similar to Swipe in HS Druid. It definitely has the chance to be quite good. Being slow is a definite drawback, but it's still a very interesting and potentially quite good spell.

  • New Shurima Spell - Desert Duel

I'm with TTG on this one. Slow spells need to bring something special to the table in order to be playable. This is not special enough to earn a card slot in most decks.

  • New Neutral Minion - Smothering Starfish

    Ironbeak Owl be like "Wuut?!"

  • Smothering Starfish

    .. to the Sunken City?

  • New Shaman Minion - Glugg the Gulper

And I'll add to that list its anti-synergetic tribe tag : Beast ?

  • New Demon Hunter Minion - Glaiveshark

That's a cool looking card with a pretty neat effect. I bet Illidan will make the most of this one.
All you need is a weapon, and you get a pretty sweet tempo play on T4

  • New Mage Minion - Spitelash Siren

Thankfully unlike warlock, mages don't have a +2 card draw like Backfire and their hero power does not draw. Unless if they decide to bring back Book of Specters to the core set Just to slap me in the face.

  • New Mage Minion - Spitelash Siren

This is a card that'll break the meta for mage, not mech mage despite all the support it got.

Basically there are two functions for this card. The first would be obviously as a tempo setup. Play School Teacher on 4, and play this + 1/1 naga on 5, play cheap spell, play Amalgam of the Deep, etc. You get the idea. You can unload your entire hand on turn 5 circumstances permitting. At some point you'd even be able to put out Naga Giant for 0 mana, or at least get it close to 0 mana for a turn 6 board swing should the need arise.

And the second function is as OTK setup. Turn 10, play Spitelash Siren into Faceless Manipulator, drop 1 mana naga (school teacher student, or just naga giant), play cheap spell, then play Commander Sivara, brewmaster sivara followed by Ignite, then rinse and repeat sivara+ignite until opponent dies. Setup requires 6 cards, so its unlikely, but possible. Some pro would probably invent a better sequence than mine.

So, in summary. This card is broken and will probably get some other card nerfed if not itself. It has a baffling 5 health for godsake, and this card absolutely needs to die or you lose. The first scenario of hand dumping on turn 5 is scary enough.

  • Runeterra's 3.4.0 Patch Adds 3 New Cards, Balance Changes, Infernal Champion Skins, & More!

I'm not sure why it's so difficult for you to grasp this, but Rumble is a Mecha-Yordle and he's not a foe (thus he's an ally). His text reads "I've seen allied mecha-yordles deal 12+ damage." He himself is an allied mecha-yordle, so he definitely counts himself.

If it were meant to exclude himself, it would read, "I've seen OTHER allied mecha-yordles deal 12+ damage."

  • New Neutral Minion - Smothering Starfish

So, Showstopper as a battlecry. Probably better since deathrattles can be prevented by transform or silence, and especially since you have absolute control when it goes off.

  • Runeterra's 3.4.0 Patch Adds 3 New Cards, Balance Changes, Infernal Champion Skins, & More!

Maybe that part is but the official patch notes say

    Rumble

While Rumble has been having some success on his own, his Mecha-Yordle friends have spent most of their time on the scrapheap. We’re giving several of the weaker mechs a tune-up, and making sure Rumble plays more nicely with his Mecha-Yordle pals.

Which infers that they are buffing Mecha-Yordles by making him also work with them rather than Rumble needs to work with Mecha-Yordles.

  • New Shaman Minion - Glugg the Gulper

Gain its original stats. So if you buff your other minions, it doesn't get the current stats. Still, when the entire tail dies it becomes a 9/11. IIRC, stats doesn't include keywords, so it doesn't get taunt. Unfortunately the taunts die against pretty much all AoE, so you could still get killed next turn.

  • New Demon Hunter Minion - Glaiveshark

I don't think this would be a bad play on turn 5 if the enemy board has a bunch of cheap minions on it.

  • Voyage to the Sunken City

It did not die, so it cannot be found by effects that target minions that "died this game."

  • Voyage to the Sunken City

Did you watch the reveal video? If you still don't understand it after that, no one can help you.

  • Voyage to the Sunken City

REIGN supreme. If you're going to draw attention to yourself with that absurd font size, at least learn to spell correctly.

    Also, you're wrong.

  • Runeterra's 3.4.0 Patch Adds 3 New Cards, Balance Changes, Infernal Champion Skins, & More!

If that's true that patch notes worded it very poorly. Should of said "instead Rumble and other allied..."

"No longer levels by doing damage himself, instead, requires allied Mecha-Yordle to do the damage."

  • Spitelash Siren is a New Mage Card Revealed by TheCantelope for Voyage to the Sunken City

Seems like everyone is freaking out on this card, most likely because it gives mana on a class other than druid. Unlike Darkglare, at least this one forces you to play a new and specific archetype rather than using a common mechanic that's existed for a long time (Self Damage).

Don't get me wrong, I think this card has the potential to be broken anyways. There will always be a way to abuse mana reduction or mana gain. I'll have to see the rest of the nagas first before I can make any judgment but so far Amalgam of the Deep and Spellcoiler are pretty good mana refreshers for this.

As long as they don't print any 1 mana or less cost nagas OR 2 mana or less cost nagas that can give more spells, I think this card will be fine.

Edit: I forgot School Teacher existed, that card is actually broken with Spitelash Siren. Just need one more card with the criteria I mentioned and I think the naga mage deck will be bonkers.

Edit 2: Naga Giant is definitely a card. If this deck is broken, we might have another Darkglare and Flesh Giant situation.

  • Smothering Starfish is a New Card Revealed by Wowhobbs for Voyage to the Sunken City

Showstopper didn't see play because it's a deathrattle.

but I know people hardly run tech cards in general

  • New Mage Minion - Spitelash Siren

Well Naga Mage is going to be a thing this expansion, and I for one welcome our new Overlords.
