Not gonna happen mate, I haven't even finish the tutorial yet. Seeing people plays, it's just not a game mode for me.

Okay, hear me out: Play The Fires, then play Vanndar Stormpike, then later play Drek'Thar. Now they all cost two, and you pulled some out for free. At any time you can bail from this combo and play The Fires normally; they're just there to move it along better. Add some draw to reach them faster, and you're set.

In Wild you can play Witchwood Piper and hope she doesn't pick herself, and/or you can go Even with it for the cheaper Hero Power.

This has amazing art, and the pseudo-Charge is very scary.

No 24 face damage scenarios: the enemies Trenchstalker will hit must be different - if there are less than three enemies to attack, it will just attack less times.

It hits different enemies so it can only hit face once.

It would be broken if it can hit face three times because setting up an empty board is not that hard since warriors have Shield Shatter.

Unfortunately stuck on normal, as embarrassing as it is...but bare in mind I don't spend gold on merc packs, so really struggling to get coins to level up abilities to tier 4 and 5

Also don't spend real money on bundles, coz everyone knows it's a predatory mode... even though that black dragonflight bundle is taunting me every time I open the shop

This looks like an arena card, or a 1-off for standard decks. 

Also, 24 potential face damage is nuts. More randomness it seems. Probably very frustrating to play against or to lose to, but we know it's not their goal to make losing fun.

By turn 9 you would have drawn more than a third of your deck naturally anyway. If the card's good enough we might even be running loot hoarders just to make it more consistent.

Warrior seems to be getting lots of good stuff in this expansion it seems. So much that maybe the lack of card draw wouldn't even be felt.

Eh... the flavor is cute and the different art for the Piranha Swarmers also cute. Other than that, doubt this will see much play unless the Shaman Colossal legendary has synergy. 

Rogue has Blackwater Cutlass and possibly Preparation though.

Are you stuck with Heroic or normal? The difficulty doesn't really rise after BRM, so if you can just get through everything on normal you'll at least be able to get Leeroy himself.

Moreover, it has Conditioning (Rank 2) synergy for even more resilience and even more SMOrc!

But Warrior still misses one fundamental thing: card draw.

So at best this card will summon 3 3/3 elementals (chances of summoning 4 is super low). Not that great imo and with this being the first expansion for the new year, the card pool is the smallest it will be in Standard, so you will have a small selection of good spells from each spell school.

It'll probably be too inconsistent and not enough tempo to see play.

This factor alone is worth half a start more in my personal card rating.

You might want to just finish the first two and get leeroy for free. Its a legendary merc, meaning its 500 coins for not doing it.

Mercifully the first two are fairly trivial.

Its Deathwing, Mad Aspect, but easily slotted into tempo decks as well. To top it all, this card can actually strike face too.

A bit baffling that its an epic and not legendary. Because this card does so much that its hard to justify not playing it. The cost may be its only downfall, being at 9 mana means its taking your hand space 90% of the time. But definitely something worth experimenting, assuming it doesn't just get inserted into every warrior deck for the next 2 years.

So the obvious comparison is Deathwing, Mad Aspect. UNlike Deathwing this only targets enemies so it's an actual tempo play, but unlike Deathwing it comes with much lower stats and a higher cost.

Now personally, I would love to see Handbuff Warrior return in some fashion and this could be a fantastic top end finisher, especially since it can also go face (although I would assume it can only hit each target once). Getting +2/+2 on this makes it more than reasonable especially if you still have a board to soften up the enemy minions.

If, for some godforsaken reason, this can hit face three times it's absolutey bonkers and is a one-card win condition for any control Warrior deck which is (precisely why i don't think that's the case)

Seems like a good compromise, but I question myself: how many times have you found yourself playing Deathwing, Mad Aspect when you had other friendly minions in play?

I'm still stuck on BRM bounties 😓 so highly doubt I'll be able to get to Onxyia's Lair anytime soon. Guess this is another merc event I'll have to skip... oh well
