Also hyped for what this could mean for a year. I'm thinking either Elemental planes (AbysallMaw -> Deepholm -> Firelands) or perhaps a Titan prison tour (Nazjatar* -> City of Ahn'Quiraj -> Ulduar).

I can second the recommendation of The Girl With All The Gifts, it's a very original take on the zombie genre with a very cool ending. I think they even made a movie based on the book but I haven't seen that one yet.
I've finished The Demon Cycle by Brett which I can't recommend enough. Rarely a series managed to increase in complexity so much without it feeling forced like this one did. Next in line is The Name of the Wind which has been waiting for its turn for far too long already.

I've read The Name of the Wind and the second book, The Wise Man's Fear, twice through. The story is very good. I have literally no idea how he can finish the series in one more book. Maybe he also has no idea how he can do that, so maybe that's why it's taking so long for the third book to arrive.
Realistically, there should be a book 3 to finish the backstory, and then there should be a book 4 to continue the plot in the "present" time. (The books are written as a man telling his own past story .. but they also include some small chunks of what is happening in the "present" as well. Book 1 is Day 1 of him telling his story. Book 2 is Day 2 of the story telling. Book 3 will be Day 3, and he promised 3 days. But there could easily be a book 4 that breaks out of the story-telling about the past and moves forward with the present, into the future.)

To be fair, older mega bundles included less at the same price, before mercenaries and battlegrouns, the mega bundle only contained 80 packs, 1 golden legendary, 1 cardback, and 1 skin, now they decided to include mercenaries and battlegrounds, so you can't expect that now that it includes more things, if you're only interested in some, they'll discount what you're not.

Anyway, we have already 2 bundles, if the 80 card mega bundle is too much for you, and you don't like all the extras (wich you can ignore the ones you don't want in case you only want some), then you can buy the other bundle.
While I understand where you are coming from, what you described is more an a la carte special and not a "bundle". They do bundles all the time outside of HS like cars - how often do you think people want heated seats in cars in the south?
So without any task farming I could upgrade 1 skill or item on Garrosh and 1 skill on Grommash.
I'd go rokara instead of samuro to be honest. If there's no one activating samuro then he's not worth it, just dies off way too quick. Rokara can at very least grant some extra health to your other orcs if needed, and one of her equipment pushes her health to a default 90+.
Through your fight towards the boss, I'd say to be very careful with your saurfang, because usually every enemy will target him, for some reason. I'd avoid putting teams out that'll allow the AI to snipe off someone on turn 2, that's just the easiest way you'd lose your mercs before the boss.
Another thing you can try is to scout out the map before proceeding. If you have to fight off a heroic merc on your way to the boss, just reroll the map. Its not worth it to lose mercs along the way because of a cheesy map.

They would all be good, though with humans, draenai and trolls already covered, I think priest would most like a dragon character to use. It's a shame mage got 2 of them in the last 7 months, despite never being nearly as much a dragon class as priest.
It's high time hunter got an actual beast hero too, while rogue has so many themes that the current roster of heroes don't cover it's criminal! Gallywix and Myra Rotspring would be great additions, for example.
As for DH... let's be honest, all DHs are basically the same angry character so I'm not sure what diversity there really is to add there.
Well, the reason they do it this way is because they're specifically targetting whales and collectors. This way they can effectively get 80 bucks for a bunch of cosmetics that they could otherwise only sell at a fraction of the price because they bundle it with a bunch of other stuff that is virtually useless to most people who already have a large collection. If they made all the contents available seperately the whales wouldn't spend nearly as much money because they have no reason to buy a bunch of cardpacks when they already have a lot of ressources available in-game.
If it helps, the hero skin should be available as a single purchase in 1-2 years (I'm not sure if they're consistent with the timeframe)
