Solving the "???" Shimmering Snowflake Card Back Achievement in Hearthstone - Solve the Alterac Valley Mysteries

On February 14, Blizzard patched the game for the Onyxia's Lair Mini-set and within it, included a new achievement and card back that were attached to a third Hearthstone Mystery. Here's how you can solve the Mystery to unlock your Shimmering Snowflake card back.

Solving the "???" Shimmering Snowflake Card Back Achievement in Hearthstone - Solve the Alterac Valley Mysteries

This Mystery is LIVE as of March 17, 2022 and solved as of March 23, 2022. Thanks to the Warcraft Secrets Finding Discord for bringing the community together to solve the Mystery. This guide is here to explain how to complete these mysteries so you can obtain your card back as quickly and pain-free as possible. History

On February 14, Blizzard patched the game for the Onyxia's Lair Mini-set and within it, included a new achievement and card back that were attached to a third Hearthstone Mystery. The previous Mysteries were for Barrens and Stormwind and they also rewarded card backs.

What Does the Alterac Valley Mystery Reward?

Here's everything you will obtain by completing this mystery:

Shimmering Snowflake card back. (Click your achieves to add to collection)
100 Achievement Points.

This is a bit different since previous Mystery achievements contained rewards track XP as well.

How to Solve Alterac Valley Mystery #1 - Kurtrus the Juggler

How to Start Kurtrus the Juggler

Visit the Solo Adventures section in Hearthstone's Game Modes.
Select Book of Mercenaries and choose Kurtrus' chapter.
Click on the top left corner of the challenge background - see below.

How to Solve Alterac Valley Mystery #2 - Xyrella's Rubik's Cube

Xyrella's part of this mystery is us solving a 2x2 Rubik's Cube!

How to Start Xyrella's Rubix Cube

Visit the Solo Adventures section in Hearthstone's Game Modes.
Select Book of Mercenaries and choose Xyrella's chapter.
Click on the bottom left corner of the challenge background - see below.

How to Complete Xyrella's Rubix Cube

You need to look at the minions on your board and take note of their Tribes.
- Tribes should be thought of as the colors on a cube.
- These Tribes need to be mapped to a Rubik's Cube based on their positions.
The cards in your hand each make a different play on the Rubik's cube.
- The numbers below are the position in hand of the card and assume you're looking at the face in question.
- 1 - Front Counter-Clockwise
- 2 - Back Counter-Clockwise
- 3 - Top Counter-Clockwise
- 4 - Bottom Counter-Clockwise
- 5 - Left Counter-Clockwise
- 6 - Right Counter-Clockwise

How to Start Cariel's Maze

Visit the Solo Adventures section in Hearthstone's Game Modes.
Select Book of Mercenaries and choose Cariel's chapter.

So this is just dumb. And maybe I'm dumb for not really getting what I'm supposed to do in step 1, hearing step 3 takes hours and I'm just going to not even try.

I love these mysteries. I love following the steps already revealed. I just pity those who are unraveling the insane and dark world the creator of this!

Anyway, it was a lot of fun. I finished all parts in 2 hours. I found it tiring, but delicious! XD

Ok I hate this already, if they developed this with the expectations that people know how to use Google docs and spreadsheets, they can go to hell. To the best of my ability and knowledge, I followed the steps to input everything into it, and nothing happens. Two lines of inputted health, and nothing changes, the next line everything is "end" So I guess I can't get this card back. Sad as I really liked it's look.

Edit: had to have a friend explain to me how to get a copy that I could modify to make this work, I praise the people who have solved this and share it with others, I just wish people would realize not everyone has the same tech knowledge.

Seeing that part 3 takes 2+ hours I think I will skip this one.

Make a copy of and Fill in this chart
Each turn (I skip turn 1), the column number will glow red if in danger of reaching 0
I finished the first puzzle on my first try super fast using this chart
You will see I mark a column yellow for 5 spaces AFTER I ping (grace period)
I put 4 danger numbers in red in the bottom right that won't show up red during inputs
Erase A2-22 & G2-22 to start your recording
Also set the background back to white
Youll have to fill in your yellow grace periods yourself

Need to actually use the axe on the tree. Tree should disappear and leave a path.

Can't use the axe, since the hero power always active. Already tried to restart, no effect. desktop version hero power always active. No way to deactivate hero power and play any card. I tried finding solution on google, but can't find any topic about it.

Drag your active Hero portrait to the Hero power and it should turn off. It is quite sensitive, but should work pretty consistently.
Good luck with traversing the huge map, took me quite awhile to complete four dungeons and get the required twenty gold coins. I even got lost in the last dungeon (the top-right one, which was not entirely mapped out), but I managed to reposition myself.
I used the mobile client to complete this secret achievement, so the desktop client might have issues which I am not aware of.

Datamine is the only way to cheat out the starting point. As of know, we know nothing that will trigger the mystery.
I was hoping someone could do the latest patch datamine. Or maybe this time, Blizzard smart enough to hide all the data in their server.
