Biggest problem with Ichman: if you are controlling the board enough to go to turn 9, they don't have enough stuff on the board for your beasts to kill, and if you don't control the board, they kill you before 9.
Also Tavish should probably be added to Wild Secret deck, since he gives you another 2 good secrets.
Hi folks! Just found this thread (again, lol). I'm not currently reading any books but I would love to start again.
My issue with most of them is how long they are and the abundance of useless sections. I've tried reading The Foundation in the past, but it got boring after some hundreds of pages. If the essential action could be put together, i would gladly read it and have fun doing it. I simply don't have the desire/time to skim through pages to search for 1-2 paragraphs that evolve the main plot or such.
So, this is my question to you guys: what do you recommend that is action-packed and having very few filler/useless sections?
I know i've read quite a bit of short stories (few dozen pages at most) on the web and really enjoyed them. Are there any real books that are even close to this in terms of plot presentation?
As for the genre, i love sci-fi, post-apocaliptics, fantasy, magic stuff, nazis, anything out of the ordinary really.
It's also why people battle to complete the Get over Here achievement with Hollow Abomination, you need to kill a Patches the Pirate or Bloodmage Thalnos or other legendary with 1 health
I find it strange that reaching 20 mana is somehow rated at 2/5 speed whereas summoning the cubs reaches 4/5.
Ive been trying to finish the pups achievement in bronze wild and its testing my patience because there's only realistically 8 cubs per game you can generate without going weird with stuff like Faceless Manipulator and at 120 that's a minimum of 15 games, assuming you generate at least 8 per game. Whereas reaching 20 mana took an effortless one game.
Just curious to know if anyone thought out an easier route for this because its very much similar to warlock's kill 100 minions with Desecrated Graveyard, very tedious - much like most of AV's achievements.
The start post is well written and thumps up for the effort. What I'd like to see is a short list of all broken achievements, so that I don't try to achieve the wrong ones. Thanks in advance!
So apparently all Honorable kill achievements only work if the target is at full health (this only applies to those that specifically mention Honorable Kill in their description)
Cariel is bugged, achievement doesn't progress at all
Bless achievement is bugged and only works if you do it all at once (meaning you have to do Test Subject shenanigans)
Yeti achievement only works with Legacy (meaning Wild) copy of Yeti. Core version doesn't apply.
Is the Battlegrounds section going to be updated? It seems quite outdated at the moment. Appreciate all the work you're putting in though, this is quite handy.
Just to note with honorable kill achievements. There's a bug where the minion needs to be at full health for you to get the achievement. So you can't honorably kill a minion at 5 health if they're damaged already.
I think I just played the greatest game of Hearthstone ever.
I'm playing C'Thun Druid (with Wildheart Guff) against a Burgle Rogue. I got behind early as my opponent played a wide board, but I was able to Solar Eclipse into Overflow on turn 3 so I have a lot of mana to defend myself with. By turn 11 I've managed to hold on at 12 health, and I manage to clear his board with a Yogg-Saron, Master of Fate that cast a Puzzlebox.
Now this is where it gets fun. My opponent manages to get a Yogg of his own via Vanessa VanCleef, which will come into play later. At this point I'm at 12 health and 29 armor, with 19 mana in my tray thanks to Wildheart Guff. A Contraband Stash fills my opponent's board with large threats again, but I still manage to clear some of his minions again and even complete C'Thun, the Shattered on the same turn. However, he steals my C'Thun with Parrrley! He couldn't play it that turn, though.
I play the Parrrley as well and steal his Contraband Stash, which helps wipe his board again (thanks to a stray Fire Sale that I forget where I got from). But with the board free of minions now, he plays C'Thun, which I managed to survive thanks to 26 armor. With just 8 health left, I play two Cenarion Wards to tank up again, getting a Turalyon, the Tenured to kill the C'Thun so he couldn't Shadowstep it.
Next turn, my opponent plays the Yogg he got from Vanessa VanCleef, and it plays another puzzlebox that kills my two 8-drops and fills his board with some buffed up imps. I'm out of answers at that point and staring death in the face, so I played Resizing Pouch for a Hail Mary play.
I already know that a lot of the player base don't care about Wild nor Wild players, and I'm not complaining, just pointing out that it's pretty shitty for people that don't play the mode (The same could go for the duels quest, but I'm biased about it because I enjoy the mode).
1. You are definitely complaining.
2. You see that you are biased, yet you complain about it anyway.
3. It's not about other players not caring about Wild. It's about Wild not being a money-making game mode for Blizzard, so there's no reason to reward playing it. In fact, I'm sure Blizzard sees Wild as a necessary evil and would prefer it if no one played Wild.
4. Newer players are completely unfamiliar with Wild cards, and they certainly don't own any.
5. You don't even have to win the games. Just put some random Core cards together and collect your free packs, you ingrate.
Why this hostile tone? They aren't asking for a Wild-only quest; they specifically suggested a "Ranked" quest that would be Wild- and Standard-agnostic. This alternative would basically harm nobody, while being more inclusive for the players who prefer Wild.

I messed up the rating.
I don't know why, but I took them backwards. Strange, assuming that I am the one that invented them in the first place.

Well, I got another Yogg-Saron, Master of Fate out of it, and it cast Rod of Roasting!!! And it killed my opponent!!!!
A perfect ending to an amazing game. This is why I play Hearthstone.

I don't think a truly bad card would become the linchpin of a top-15 deck with a positive win rate, but I don't mind if it continues to be underrated.

I totally agree that this is a great idea, but I'm lazy to make a lot of effort after work. Lol
What creature is this?
I think this is a common cancer. I just do not understand why it is covered with a moss . Is there a lake or river not far from you?
