Freeze Shaman worked better than I expected against Quest Mage and Quest Hunter. A bit of armor can be enough to stay out of lethal range and you can summon a large enough board that the opponent cannot afford to send all their damage face. When they get their quest reward, you don't need to trade into it if you can keep freezing it until the end of the game.
There is still the question what Quest Warlock will do to the meta once it settles, but if that deck is oppressive I expect it to get nerfed again.
I encountered a bug playing Thief rogue. I had acquired and equipped Ceremonial Maul. At the start of my next turn i started by playing Contraband Stash. This did not proc the spellburst on my weapon. However, when i then combo'd into Brain Freeze. The spellburst went off, summoning only a 1/1 taunt instead of a 5/5.
Kind of like Headmaster Kel'Thuzad, but for Honorable Kill. "Nothing will inspire you more to switch sides than a Fireball to the face." IIRC the Spirit of Redemption is the caretaker of Alterac Valley's dead PvP players, watching over them while they wait to respawn.

R - Should be "Slingshot Goblin", just the one O. The text seems okay, being essentially Cobra Shot with a condition (and a body), although it does buck up against Knight-Captain in terms of general function.
Demonxz95 - I think a reduction of 4 is fine. A sizable payoff for what can be an uncommon condition to activate.
BasilAnguis - I agree with AeroJulwin in-that The Flag should have some kind of aura effect to really encourage your opponent to target it. Otherwise, they might just leave it alone and deny you the "game within a game" fun.
DestroyerR - Ignoring the Keyword-soup, I think it's okay, but quite boring. It's "just stats", and people don't care for that unless something good is coming along with it (or you're Saidan the Scarlet, compensating with sheer numbers).
grumpymonk - Ignoring the name problem, I think the Rogue spell is more interesting than Karl. Karl has some math involved that'll turn some people away, having to line everything up just right for the HK. He's also a terrible drop onto an empty board, which is unfortunate. The spell has the cool "should I Combo or not" factor that adds to the decision-making.
AeroJulwin - I assume the Cub returns to your hand even if it dies? It wouldn't be good otherwise, but that's also not entirely intuitive: dead things are dead, you shouldn't get them back (unless you're a filthy Priest). I like Charon because "Fire Control Mage" sounds cool to me. Or maybe "Fire Fighter Mage"? :P
Wailor - I've been told that the Druid is supposed to have a problem clearing minions with spells, so Sunfire is presumably an issue. The Blademaster is a fine card, though, so I'd go with that one. Could even chain-kill a bunch of 4-Health minions.
I should have looked here first. I went straight to Vicious Syndicate, and I really wanted to play a Secret Hunter deck, so I crafted the Hunter Quest to use theirs. But it just felt like another boring Quest Hunter deck.
Old Guardian’s Secret Hunter is exactly what I wanted, and it looks like it’ll be strong enough to work while everyone figures things out in these early days.
I've run into no older decks so far, so it's still hard to gauge how well they hold up against the new stuff.
Nice to see people experimenting, though! I've seen several creative attempts that are not on any website's "best decks for new expansion because we magically know how things are going to be" lists.
Isn't this exactly what happened when they gave out Flightmaster Dungar before the launch of Stormwind? Maybe "third time's a charm" when next expansion rolls around ...
I personally prefer Sunfire, because I love the Arcane school and this card totally fits its resourcefulness. I also think both cards are well-balanced.
Demonxc95
Your first card might be a little too complex to do well.
For the cost-reduction I'd say 4 Mana. It punishes using many small minions in your deck and at 5 Attack, the effect is quite difficult to pull off.
linkblade91
I Like the Elementals & spells synergy. Those always compliment each other well. What would the Tokens' costs be, though? Does it copy the destroyed minions' costs, or use Cost = (Attack + Health) / 2 rounded down?
grumpymonk
I particularly like how Vendetta combines multiple keywords, giving it stacking effects. Though it definitely needs a name change.
DestroyeR
Getting Health after attacking will always feels a little odd. And considering you won't be able to get the effect until the turn after playing this, it would probably be fine as a 3-cost. Also, don't forget that Attack is only more valuable than Health if the minion can attack afterwards.
R
Solid card. The art seems fine . The white background helps because many Alterac cards are set in the snow. I think it gives aggro decks some nice minion-removal without sacrificing face damage.
Come to think of it, Honorable Kill cards could really inspire some more use of Animated Broomstick in decks.
Yeah its insane to me that it hasn't fully caught on yet that time changes are bad news. Its an archaic construct that used to be important but no longer is. I'm remain hopeful that we're going to ditch it in the next 5 years.
Here's another bug based achievement: I killed a Tirion Fordring with Hollow Abomination but no "Get Over Here!" achievement was given.
PS: The name of the achievement is ironic, though, I did the achievment in a Grim Patron shuffle deck to try and finish the Spammy Arcanist (which I would have if a certain Knife Juggler didn't snipe the 2 HP minion my opponent had). But yeah, that achievement is tracking correctly, as is the Dread Imp summoning one.
I was curious what level would I get if I hadn't bought battle pass. I'm a bit lazy to account for fine details, so I only looked at levels above 100. If I got 159 levels with 20% boost, then without it I would get level 132. 27 levels of difference equals 1350 gold.
Battle pass costs the same as 15 packs. It's funny that bonus gold I got from it is very close to that 15 packs equivalent.
I bought the big pre-order and 40 packs with gold (~125 packs + 5 golden). I'm pretty satisfied with the results. During the opening I opend three Legendaries in 7 or 8 packs, two of them in a row. After that I had to click until the pity timer hit. I have most of the heroes and dodged the Honor Legendary.
Golden Pre-Order: Galvangar and Caria Felsoul
In the 5 golden packs: Wildheart Guff
In the rest: Cariel, Rokara, Brukan, Scabbs (gold!), Tamsin, Kurtus, Bearon, Najak Hexxen

Yes. Most of my achievements are progressing as they should, but my count of Honorable Kills still stands at 0.
