Super slow, but I have hope that the Stealth addition means enough in terms of getting bodies to stick around for buffs that this sees some amount of play.
Honestly, I love this card just for the idea of upgraded Secrets. Feels like something that could be brought back in the future as a one-off reference on a card. I know they said they'd only update the pool while he remains in Standard, but I can always dream of a world where we see more and more cool upgraded Secrets.
I don't think the Fel spells Warlock has right now are good enough to deliberately tune your deck such that this always activates; because of that I don't expect this to do that well. Just a bit too much mana for not quite enough effect.
Ridiculously easy to activate in a Control deck, so I guess it's redundancy with Grom as a finisher? I certainly don't mind it, even if overall it's pretty bland for a Legendary.
Agreed with the consensus here that this will too often not trade well, for which the handbuff just isn't a good enough consolation prize. Swap the stats and it'd probably be better.
Not too shabby. Definitely something that needs support cards to be worth it, but having such high Health makes me interested in using it in any class that can buff it even a little bit. Some weird handbuff experiments incoming?
Decent tech card. Even against Quest decks you have the reward that you can kill, which isn't great but is at least something that a lot of decks will have as a target for this guy.
A strange one. Seems quite anti-tempo, but destroying a minion to get a 4/4 isn't all that bad, especially when it's set up so well for synergies. Being able to continue using it for the next few turns is also really good, provided you can keep feeding it.
The people who flame others are sad people, who have a very fragile sense of self worth that requires validation at all times. If they are having a bad day in Hearthstone and losing a lot of games, they seek that validation via putting others down. Which is at it's core, pathetic! While I don't disagree with you that this type of behavior needs to be stopped, I'm not sure what the long term solution is. Realistically the only way to stop the abuse from happening is that players could just not accept the requests from recent opponents.
I have gotten some unexpected "Challenge a Friend" quests from recent opponents in a few instances, and in fewer instances even made long term friends in game via recent opponents. So sometimes I think maybe I should accept them. But most often I am told I am a lot of things I won't retype here. My recent favorite was on Oct 31 by someone saying I should "suck a d*** and die of coronavirus b****!" He said something before that about how I had the nerve to emote him before I won... I know I didn't because I rarely use the emotes. I don't remember the circumstances but I think my hero may have said one of their "thinking" emotes as the turn progressed, happened to be right as I was ending the game. Just FYI, it was in Standard, my opponent was an Aggro Druid (one of the best decks in the format) and I was playing Tempo Ping Mage. Basically meta deck versus homebrew meme! Also, in this instance I reported the player, which I only do if they really cross a certain line. As someone who works in physical therapy and currently has several patients recovering from the effects of the mentioned disease, as well as a wife, multiple family members, and countless friends and colleagues working in various healthcare roles through the last 20 months, I was not amused in this instance.
Anyway... While the behavior is awful, the only way to stop it is if we the players don't accept the requests. You almost have to expect that clicking the checkmark will result in them calling you all sorts of terrible things. If you can't handle that or it could be potentially triggering for you, don't click it. If you do accept and get hit with all sorts of terrible crap, you need to understand that they are just unhappy with themselves and unjustly taking it out on you, and also know how to report the behavior from the Launcher chat if you think necessary to do so. (Open the chat, right click a line of text with the hate speech or other reportable offense, and click Report)
By buying into it do you mean that you have to pay in order to play it? I'm not sure I'd agree with that. I can see a world where you pay to get the cards like you said but I would want to allow players who already have those cards to use them without needing to pay. I've never dusted a card that I didn't hate the game play design for and I'd like to be rewarded for keeping my collection if I could.
I so hope they seriously consider auto squelch. Auto squelch adds so much more than it takes away. I find emotes to be more tilting than fun, and any idea that emotes are more genuine than not makes me feel like we're simply not interacting with the same players.
If people add someone at the end of a match just to cuss them out, they deserve to be removed from the game. If there was a real penalty that could be applied, then these people wouldn't stick around forever. At some point they will leave when their collections keep getting reset when a new account needs to be made.
I grow tired of multiple portrait cosmetics. Like you have 10 of them for a single class, but you can only pick 1 to use all the time.
I would like to set a customizable portrait for a deck I want. For example, Pirate garrosh for Pirate Warrior, Corrupted Garrosh for Old god Control deck, etc.
We can already do this. Just assign the portrait for every deck. Setting it as fav means its the default for every deck that you've not personally chosen a portrait for.

But none of this sees any progress after so long. So I doubt it sees any development.
A surprising trap card for Arena, where normally these weirdly statted minions with drawbacks fare better than in Constructed. You really need enough synergies to make this work, and only Mage can do that reliably (and again, only in Constructed).
I love this card just because it always makes someone lose their mind that they'd choose not to randomly drop an out-of-place Keyword into an expansion, as though there isn't decades of research on reasons why they might or might not want to do that.
Anyway, card seems pretty eh. Can clear boards, but also requires just a tad much investment if you yourself don't have a board too.
The stats themselves are pretty awesome for a Stealth minion. Honorable Kill really does just feel like random bonus text on some of these cards, where the real measure of its power is everything else.
The AoE itself is just a really good effect depending on the meta, so the fact that it also comes with another bonus effect is awesome. Not a slam dunk autoinclude, but very playable under the right conditions.
I would love to see an overhaul of all cards. Just look at the numbers and buff the cards that suck and nerf the ones that are perennial winners. Why the hell not? Stir up the pot already, Blizzard.
Warlock doesn't even have that many good Fel spells in Standard. Hell, even in Wild the options aren't great.
Don't get me wrong, a lot of them are fine on their own, but casting them off this just doesn't seem worth including it in the deck over other options, especially when some of the better spells would actively hurt it or would end up targeting randomly.
New Druid Spell - Frostwolf Kennels
Super slow, but I have hope that the Stealth addition means enough in terms of getting bodies to stick around for buffs that this sees some amount of play.
New Hunter Hero - Beaststalker Tavish
Honestly, I love this card just for the idea of upgraded Secrets. Feels like something that could be brought back in the future as a one-off reference on a card. I know they said they'd only update the pool while he remains in Standard, but I can always dream of a world where we see more and more cool upgraded Secrets.
New Warlock Minion - Grave Defiler
So much Fel support and for what? The Fel spells Warlock has are OK at best and often quite bad, so I don't anticipate this making any sort of waves.
New Warlock Spell - Felfire in the Hole!
I don't think the Fel spells Warlock has right now are good enough to deliberately tune your deck such that this always activates; because of that I don't expect this to do that well. Just a bit too much mana for not quite enough effect.
New Warrior Minion - Captain Galvangar
Ridiculously easy to activate in a Control deck, so I guess it's redundancy with Grom as a finisher? I certainly don't mind it, even if overall it's pretty bland for a Legendary.
New Neutral Minion - Legionnaire
Agreed with the consensus here that this will too often not trade well, for which the handbuff just isn't a good enough consolation prize. Swap the stats and it'd probably be better.
New Neutral Minion - Icehoof Protector
Not too shabby. Definitely something that needs support cards to be worth it, but having such high Health makes me interested in using it in any class that can buff it even a little bit. Some weird handbuff experiments incoming?
New Neutral Minion - Humongous Owl
It's a fuck-off massive Owl. I love it!
New Neutral Minion - Grimtotem Bounty Hunter
Decent tech card. Even against Quest decks you have the reward that you can kill, which isn't great but is at least something that a lot of decks will have as a target for this guy.
New Warlock Spell - Desecrated Graveyard
A strange one. Seems quite anti-tempo, but destroying a minion to get a 4/4 isn't all that bad, especially when it's set up so well for synergies. Being able to continue using it for the next few turns is also really good, provided you can keep feeding it.

A surprising trap card for Arena, where normally these weirdly statted minions with drawbacks fare better than in Constructed. You really need enough synergies to make this work, and only Mage can do that reliably (and again, only in Constructed).
New Neutral Minion - Frostwolf Warmaster
If you're including this in a deck it better be reliably costing nothing, otherwise you've wasted the card slot.
New Warlock Spell - Full-Blown Evil
I love this card just because it always makes someone lose their mind that they'd choose not to randomly drop an out-of-place Keyword into an expansion, as though there isn't decades of research on reasons why they might or might not want to do that.

New Neutral Minion - Popsicooler
Does this make the cut in Shaman for the Freeze synergies? I think it might. Everywhere else it's probably just an Arena card.
New Neutral Minion - Sneaky Scout
The stats themselves are pretty awesome for a Stealth minion. Honorable Kill really does just feel like random bonus text on some of these cards, where the real measure of its power is everything else.
New Warrior Minion - Axe Berserker
Warrior already has way more consistent Weapon tutors and draw effects in general. Seems a bit pushed out by everything else.
New Warlock Minion - Hollow Abomination
The AoE itself is just a really good effect depending on the meta, so the fact that it also comes with another bonus effect is awesome. Not a slam dunk autoinclude, but very playable under the right conditions.
What is the Alterac Valley Meta going to be?
