The Jaina and Anduin are definitely the coolest. 

I wonder why they added these files so early, considering that it's suppost to launch in over 4 weeks from now. Maybe they are planning an early acces just like with Battlegrounds or Duels? Though they would have surely mentioned it in the stream if that was the case (back then atleast).

I'm committed to treating Mercs. as F2P, even if I really enjoy it, because with (mostly-)single player games I find the journey more engaging than the destination. So most of what I'm getting out of this is confirmation that 100 gold gets me 1 pack.

However, I do want to point out that I've had ~6000 gold rolling over every expansion since DoD when I lucked out and won the OoC pre-order giveaway. So I can go into it with a healthy 60 packs courtesy of 2019 Flux & Co. :)

They didn't lie. They never said there would be achievements that earn XP, just that you could earn XP in the mode.

Now that people have stopped deck building and having fun, the stats are locked in for most popular decks to encounter when playing ladder. Which I'll go over here.

Zoe Nami and Draven War are 20% of the meta.

You can expect to run into one of these decks one out of 5 games.

Darkness control and Temo traps are about 15% of the meta. You can expect to run into one of these decks on average 6.5 games.

Shurima landmarks, and TF Gangplank burn are 10% of the meta. You'll find then one out of 10 games.

Everything else we see a pretty big drop of in play rate of 4% or less.

So what do we think, how are we enjoying the meta now that you can realistically know what decks you'll run into 50% of the time?

Few days ago I´ve hit lvl 100 with TP and got Scabbs, Guff and Tamsin portraits along with my third RT hero portrait - Felheart Gul'dan. These days I´ve happened to hit 600 total RT lvls too and claimed Deathmantle Valeera, which is neat. I guess I´m out of free portraits in the near future :P

For my XP achievement count, I´m stuck at 90% done. I did all I could with my cards available, now it´s just pray to get missing cards from Duels bucket or discover and not to die before I manage to play them. It´s not fun, so no progress at all this week. Thinking about switching back to Ranked till I´ll get tired of it and go back to Duels again :P

These articles are full of comments from people saying whether or not they want to buy the cosmetics. That seems perfectly appropriate for the topic. 

I really love these, since I consider Shadowlands to be a neat and FRESH addition to Warcraft lore. Haters gonna hate but I’m having a blast playing Shadowlands.

A bit of curiosity for those not playing or familiar with actual WoW content. Illidan, Malf and Guld’an are/were never part of the respective SL covenant portrayed in these skins, even though they look cool and make references to SL characters and transmogs. Uther on the other hand is portrayed in his true Bastion ascended  dark form present in game (therefore canon) which is cool AF IMO…

I'm interested about the very last ability from that article "Inquisition 1" but can't find back from which hero is from, any idea ?

Usually i have zero interest in BG cosmetics but this Bartender "Gala Medivh" is just too good to not consider.

lol yea, skyomyke did write a lot, but it's not like he was wrong.  it's ok if you don't want to buy cosmetics, but IMO the whole world doesn't need to have you announce "I'm going F2P"

I'll agree that I wouldn't want to see them in every battle, but I do hope that there's enough variety among PvE enemies to make the player hesitant to go all-in on one build or one specific merc.

Yes, I read it. I didn’t see any complaints. It’s fine to choose to be a completionist, it’s fine to choose to go F2P, and it’s fine to pick a place between those extremes. The only things that wouldn’t be fine are judging other people for their choice or blaming Blizzard for making those choices available.

I agree that switching from completionist to F2P is extreme, but it’s not unheard of: If you already have a ton of resources in-game, you may suddenly realize that you don’t need to buy more.

I didn’t see them complaining. The key part is probably how you interpret the phrase “the amount of paid stuff they started tossing around is just way too much”. I read that as “way too much [for me]”, and I think you read it as “way too much [morally]”. As long as they were commenting on what they wanted for themselves in the game, there was no complaint.

This thread is probably getting too picky, but given all the undeserved negativity the Hearthstone has been getting from commenters lately, I did want to defend an appropriately nuanced “this isn’t right for me” comment.

(And yes, you’re right that “OP” was the wrong way to refer to them. But you also don’t know if “he” is right.)

Blink Fox is also capable of buffing speed, but Cairne might be the most consistent.

Also note that Diablo + Cairne + Blink Fox covers all roles.

After seeing the fairy tale set, I didn't expect to care about these at all. But now I want them both.

Wow, that's some in-depth analysis to my three sentences. Yes, it is a form of a complaint but it is also a feedback to whomever might be interested in it. However, is it infantile to be irritated at some aspects of a game or is it when you are being provoked to write two pages in response?

I have spent a little more than 2000 euro on Hearthstone throughout the years and while not "a ton" it is not insignificant either. And while this does not entitle me of anything of course, as you said, I am at least free to give my feedback.

Anyway, let's not waste any more time on idle chatter.

The more a game is funded by optional cosmetics, the more generous it can be with the components that actually matter, i.e, cards.

I'm not saying they WILL be more generous, but it gives them the ability to do so.
