May or may not be a throwback to Corpsetaker it's definetely going to be a stable in rainbow DK and might even be playable with only rush and lifesteal.
There are a bunch of cheap unholy spells that are generally good for swarmy decks. Though the pool of cheap DK spells are bigger than you might expect.
Basically a 1 mana Defile, but you have to make the first trigger yourself. You could even use it preemptively on turn 1 or 2, without triggering it, to discourage your opponent from playing any more minions. It might become a class stable.

This new card is disappointing—it's the only one that utilizes corpses, and it's underwhelming. Rainbow DK definitely needs some additional support to shine.
There will be a dedicated post going up this morning for it! The link is (and always has been) accessible on the Hearthstone expansions navigation too:
I've completed my voting, but didn't get the Explorers title. Will those be awarded somewhere in the future or immediately on completion? Might go for the Scholar this time as well but I'm not sure if I'll find the time :D
Ive played a variation of BBU, even BBF, before which focuses on handbuff. Its okay, but the reason why it could never be anything more than a niche tier 3 deck is because its either too slow, or you run out of stuff too quickly. Not to mention that against control decks its a nightmare, which is why I gave up trying to make the deck work.
Youre right about zombietank being a good add there, because the taunt makes up a bit for the slowness, but Im still not convinced it'll be a deck. Maybe rotation would make it more viable. We'll see.
It's a Handbuff card that gets to do something "immediately", before the extra stats are invalidated by the inevitable clear. Dropping two of these you've been buffing all game could be a winning strategy, assuming you can hold out that long.
@Pezman - It's not for Rainbow DK, but for the Blood/Unholy Handbuff package. 2-Mana to summon two 5/4s or better - with Taunt - would be worth it in the mid-game; or at least, that's the hope.

New Death Knight Minion - Rainbow Seamstress

New Death Knight Minion - Dr. Stitchensew
A fairly stick thread, kinda like a midrange Rattlegore. Though 6 mana might make it a bit too slow.
New Death Knight Spell - Silk Stitching

New Death Knight Spell - Threads of Despair

New Death Knight Minion - Rambunctious Stuffy
I don't think there are going to be enough frost spells in standard to make it consistent enough.
New Death Knight Minion - Darkthorn Quilter
Seems like a fine handbuff payoff, but I don't think there are enough of them to make it a viable strategy.
New Death Knight Minion - Shambling Zombietank
I can see it finding a place in some sort of midrange handbuff deck, but I doubt that's going to be a thing.

This post is basically the only place where you can find a link to the Tavern Crawl page. Could you please give it some more visability?

Hey Flux, that's cool stuff! Thanks for all the work and the transparency :-)
I've found something that's not working yet:
Mobile, Android, browsing with Google Chrome (let me know if you need more details)
In the Hearthstone Realm, the navigation doesn't work properly:

Shambling Zombietankmakes a lot more sense when you look at the handbuff package DK got. Lesser Spinel Spellstone, Amateur Puppeteer and Darkthorn Quilter solidify what i always suspected, that the BBU rune combo is handbuffs and minion copies. Same as UUF is plagues and excavate. You can see the trend from older cards like Blood Tap, Vicious Bloodworm, Nerubian Swarmguard, Malignant Horror, etc. Whether it will work or not, can't say, probably has too little corpse generation. but for a short while the deck was viable i think after Festival miniset when DK got Hollow Hound

Horn of Winter is back in Standard, so this can proc pretty easily assuming you have other Frost spells to continue the chain.

What are you playing? - Special Mar10 day edition
Played the demo - it's fun! Of the regular wholesome Mario variety...only with Peach hehe.
It had Swordfighter Peach and Patisserie Peach in the demo, and I missed one Sparkle Gem per stage because of course I did >_>
New Death Knight Minion - Shambling Zombietank
Not too happy about this. It's the only new card that spends corpses, and it sucks. Rainbow DK will need support.
New Death Knight Minion - Rambunctious Stuffy
Looks very good! Add a few cheap Frost spells, and this can make many trades in one turn, or across several.
New Death Knight Minion - Darkthorn Quilter
Looks ok. Needs buffs to be worthwhile, but then it could get quite strong. I guess we'll see.
New Death Knight Spell - Threads of Despair
Maybe the cheapest board clear ever. Notice it says ALL minions, so with at least a few targets, this will do massive repeat damage.
New Death Knight Spell - Silk Stitching
Really powerful card right here! Even if you just have to stick this on a hero power ghoul, it's good value. Then add Death Growl!
