I think the point is that acting like delaying the reveals is just as much of an injustice as the...you know...actual injustice makes one look like a complete out of touch moron.

I feel like the reason it costs 0 is because in order for it to do anything relevant you need to have a big minion alongside it, meaning if this had an actual cost it just wouldn't be playable a lot of the time in the early to midgame.

It's weird that this one is tradeable. All the other ones had some sort of merchant flavour going on. This is just a regular old utility card.

This is very powerful. It basically gives your minion rush and mega-windfury for 0 mana with the option of being tradeable. There are just so many possibilities with this card.

The WoW-team seems to be the main problem. Above thr toxic culture, look at their game. They give a shit-mount if you have a 6 month subscription and thats it. They have your money and they dont care about the game. There are many developers who cant be who they want to be and actually contribute in improving the game.

If I look at HS, main developers spoke out and every time a icon of the team leaves some else steps up. Look at Liv Breeden now, she is so passionate and really wants to deliver a expansions she and the gamers should enjoy.

But the rest of Blizzard is just so corporate. Make 400m profit and fire the whole PR-departement. We have seen the results in every single scandal the media found, it is always a weak respons from Blizzard.

Blizzard wants rainbowscolors and free speech, but at this moment they just dont deliver every single time they have the chance to show their support with their own community. And that hurts. It hurts us and it hurts the developers who truely believe in the good cause.

I hate seeing the actions of some hurt so many. All the good workers at Acti-Blizz, the community sites like OOCs, the casters and content creators that have built up a business working with Blizzard. All these people get punished, their jobs come into question, their futures become uncertain. All because some people can't treat others who are different (genders, races, sexualities, ect) as people. It's so sad.

That said I will continue to support Blizzard and it's communities. Not because I support the vile actions of a few but because I believe we as a community can rise above this. Coming together and support the victims of these wrongdoings and the innocent who are fearing they won't  have a job tomorrow.  I hope Blizzard can purge these bad apples, apply better policies to protect ALL their workers and come back as a shining pillar of this gaming community they once were.

Don't get me wrong, people did bad things. They should be punished and removed swiftly. Heck it should of never happened in the first place. However I feel pulling my support or boycotting Acti-Blizzard as a hole punishes the innocent, the community, more so than those that have done wrong. So I will be here, praying for those who are hurt and hoping for a brighter future for the company I grew up with.

Their reasoning is the same as Brian Kibler, Alliestrasza, Lieutenant Eddy and TrumpSC: Card reveal videos and discussions could be seen as an attempt at distracting the public away from the lawsuit and its allegations. These people would prefer it gets all the attention it can. The Hearthstone team feels the same way, which is why they cancelled their own internal card reveals. They obviously couldn't force the community creators which received cards to reveal to follow suit, but it wouldn't surprise me if many creators came to the same conclusion.

No I read what you said and my point still stands. I#m talking specifically about your statement of "it used to be a decent payoff" doesn't hold any water. I'M not even talking about Trueheart as a card, just about her effect which, that late in the game, is only useful in heavy control decks. Odd Paladin worked because you start off with a crazy advantage. THe quest makes you start off with a crazy disadvantage that takes a large amount of suboptimal plays to get a reward that comes online too late to bring you back into the game.

This quest is relatively easy to complete, one of the cards that helps complete it has synergy with Y'sharrj and it provides a good deal of survivability and damage for a slower archetype. Clown Druid struggles to deal with aggro but this gives the deck a lot of armor over the course of the game. The reward doesn't win the game but protects you against aggression and burn and gives slower Druid archetypes a better chance of achieving their late game win conditions. This isn't a direct win condition but it can win games against passive decks. Just ask Warlocks how much they love getting punched in the face. Also, the minion has taunt which makes Mark of the Spikeshell a great option for stalling. I'm not going to say that this is a 5/5 but it certainly isn't as weak as people claims.

Amara this ain't. With amara you can play amara and seance it back to your hand while holding double seance all game because seance is 2 mana and amara set you to 40. This just gains you 8 armor and gives you 8 attack. Wow. You remove 1 threat. And you can do it 2 more times. For 7 mana. Wow. Or you can just run naturalize. Or poison seeds. Or literally anything druid already uses thats better. Hell branching paths is 4 mana gain 12 armor which could also be used to buff a board to remove multiple threats instead. Already better.

In that case you should uninstall every non-indie game you own. It's fair to say almost every development team is passionate about the game they spent so much time making, and they want their players to be happy with what they made. But on the corporate level...AAA companies don't give a fuck about the players, just their money. If they get a nice juicy paycheck out of you and then you quit in disgust after two months, you're still more "valuable" to them than a passionate, loyal free2play player that has never sent them a cent. If they could make the same money burning garbage rather than trying to sell games, they would. Most of the execs probably don't even know what games are.

Caring about other people, whether they care about you or not, is the bare minimum for a functioning world.

I don't know if it shines as much of a spotlight as we might want. Similar shit has happened in Ubisoft (as in, there have been lawsuits about this) and they've gone on like nothing has happened since the lawsuit ended. Couple high-level execs got allowed to leave with a nice, juicy severance package and even got to keep their shares and options in Ubi and that was it. Very much doubt the corporate culture in there has changed much given how they handled the outcome. They're just gonna be more careful that it doesn't become public again, if anything.

To compare X to Y doesn't mean to equate X to Y. You can compare two things and come to the conclusion that these things are very different.

I was on the fence about preordering. I used to purchase the big bundle for each expansion because I don’t have a lot of time to grind for gold. I scaled back to the smaller bundles last year, and was on the fence about this one. I think this situation has made me decide to just spend accrued gold on packs

A strange move on Blizzard's part. I don't care whether there's a reveal season or not, that's not what gives me pause. I just don't quite understand what them cancelling the reveal season is supposed to do for them. Does it save face in any way? Is it meant to say something?

It's completely understandable for people to cancel their reveal so that they don't look like they promote Blizzard at this time. Though I wonder how many people would have still revealed their card if Allie hadn't cancelled hers first. We'll never know.

Either way, the reason I find this strange is that it's not like Blizzard has been convicted of anything. They've just been sued. And that status is not going to change any time soon. The lawsuit can drag on for months, if not years. Is Blizzard going to not do a spoiler season for any of their content until the lawsuit is settled? Hardly. So at some point they're just gonna have to shrug and move on like normal, whether the issue is resolved or not. Hell, even if they lose in court they're gonna do that. They won't just stay shamefully quiet forever. So what exactly did they expect this PR move to achieve? Are they waiting till it blows over, people forget and they can get on like normal (a la Ubisoft or, hell, a la the Blitzchung incident)? They can't be doing this to show solidarity with those affected, cause that would be an admission that this bad shit has been happening. So what are they trying to say with this?
