That is not quite right. The case of a 0/1 target leads to a 1/2 Serena and a 0/0 target, for example. I think she'll end up +1 higher if the target had an even stat, and +2 higher if the target had an odd stat (because they have equal values at some point in the process, so stealing 1 more stat makes a difference of 2).

The easiest way to calculate the target's final stats is to half their initial stats, then round down. Mathematically, a target with attack A and health H will end up with floor(0.5*A) attack and floor(0.5*H) health. Serena herself therefore ends up at 1+A-floor(0.5*A) attack, and likewise for health.

It changes if Serena has been buffed in the hand, so they have to go through while loops in practice, but that's rare enough in priest to ignore most of the time.

Hey look, it's the same few people again. Would be nice if they would've put this money in actual competitive Hearthstone, which saw its prize pool get slashed this year, instead of giving already wealthy streamers a free $100.000. Also only 2 women, really Blizzard? I think they could highlight a more diverse cross-section of the community than almost entirely North-American men.

Serena Bloodfeather seem to work in the following way:

Card is played

Steal 1 Health and 1 Attack from the target (no matter what)

while target has more health than this minion

{

steal 1 health from target

}

while target has more attack than this minion

{

steal 1 attack from target

}

I already enjoyed former decks with a similar idea and I must say: This deck is surpringly consistent (more so than the former version).

Are there any adjustments due to the nerfs to Watch Posts?

I was playing around with a few priest ideas in Casual and encountered two weird interactions:

1) Insight (Non-Corrupted) + Far Watch Post

You'd expect the card drawn by the former to be taxed by the latter, but the card was 'taxed' (the animation went of and the increased cost was shown) but then the card went back to normal (and I was able to play it at the inital cost). I'm not sure if this is a bug for Far Watch Post or a feature of Insight - I wouldn't've doubted the interaction if Insight had been corrupted.

2) Serena Bloodfeather + Silver Hand Recruit (or maybe any 1/1 for that matter)

Pretty sure this is just bad coding, as the former says 'until', but Serena Bloodfeather actually kills 1/1s. Neither attack nor health are strictly higher, nor is the overall stat-count. I still have no idea how Serena works - but I'm confident it's not intended like this :D

I think that now the super tier 1 is Face hunter. Mage ( warlocks cannot survive enough and paladin need a very good draw to compete.

So the nerf succeded ... but there will be a new one soon to keep the control decks viable

I always love to watch these, drops or not. Still rooting for Jarla, you can do it man, just don´t play the silly spell mage deck please, you know better :D

Thanks Frosty 🙃 I thought Priest was doing quite well from the matches I watched. Probably a difficult deck to play, seeing as it hasn't surged in popularity on ladder.

Are you sure it's fixed? There is a drop-down box now to select the specific brawl, but whenever I save the deck and then edit it again, the brawl selection is lost. And I also don't see the deck if I sort by most recently updated for the top-3 brawl.

Kinda complicated in comparison with Twitch don't you think?

yes, I watched 5-6 hours live stream because the chat is also live when I joined.
But no, I didn't watch it on focused mode. I leave it hanging in the back muted while playing.

Still no drops. this makes me feel very discouraged to watch YT streams anymore.

Today I fought someone trying out their garbage homebrew freeze/no minion mage deck, and I was ready to kill him for like 4/5 turns, but apparently Hearthstone decided it wasn’t my turnto win and made him draw every single freeze card in his deck IN A ROW. He still had 18 cards left and he topdecks Dawngrasp, Cone of Cold and FLURRY. And after all of that, it turns out he was playing MORDRESH. IN A SPELL MAGE DECK. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU.
