Yea well that was essentially 50 bonus gold per week. But let’s be honest, we liked it because of the free stuff, nothing else. Gameplay wise I much prefer getting pushed into other modes by the weekly quests.
+ it‘s a pain for people that actually try to avoid this quest
It's "insatiable" because it won't stop "eating" cards until you kill it :) Initially I wanted to make it cheaper, but at 1 Mana it could discard your opponent's quest which would be super annoying and the 2 Mana slot is already quite crowded in Discolock. No Kanrethad shenanigans either without the Demon tag. I'm still pondering if Un'goro or Rastakhan's is the better expansion for a Crawg, any advice for that question and feedback in general would be very welcome. Edit: I've put it in RR, thanks for your advice, FrostyFeet!

I like your idea, but I'd very much prefer an aura effect to a Battlecry. It takes too much fun out of the game if you can see each other's deck all the time. I'm also one of those guys that prefer a fitting or custom watermark. Again, props for the cool idea!

Terokk is difficult for me. Zoolock is pretty much always good and this is just too powerful a tool for it, even at 8 Mana. I don't like the art of Personality Thief and it's effect is something we already know from other (unused) cards. But Balance Keeper is a really cool idea - probably my favorite so far. Really nice way to use Choose One and super flexible. I like it a lot!

Interesting take, this opens up a lot of possibilities. I'm not sure if the wording is correct… does it have to be "affects"?

Shado Conjurer is a nice idea, but I'm lacking the imagination for suitable targets right now. Cincaria has super cool art, where did you find that? The effect is really nice, too - annoying, but not too strong. Do you intend to reveal the left/right-most card of your opponent or do we have to choose blindly? That is Stelina's truely useful aspect imho, you get to peek at your opponent's hand.

I agree, Eagle Eyes is the best of them. Very flavorful (nice pun!). Is there a reason why you didn't put it in DoD? It would fit the aerial combat theme pretty well.

The art is not HS-style enough for my taste. The effect is very interesting, but also quite hard to evaluate because it's so situational. So while I do think it's a strong and strategically challenging card, I'm not sure if it helps you win this competition. On a side note, how do you put our user's name on the spoilers? Your feedback comments always look so much cooler and smoother than mine.

Nice idea, very flavorful name as well. I'm not sure if it isn't too crazy for a competition that aims to produce realistic cards, though.
I think you're underestimating what a 2 mana nerf can really do in a tempo based meta. The only way lunacy mage still dominates is that the entire meta is made of decks that literally plays nothing for the first 3 turns and you mulligan exactly for Deck of Lunacy.
No minion mage is effective, but far from being a tier 1 deck. Without DoL its incredibly linear, and even if Font of Power fetches them the literal nuts, what are they really doing for the first 4 turns? Jandice is nerfed too, so that's another turn 5 play gone.
From my own experience, the only time lunacy mage is a proper tier 1 deck is when they play DoL on turn 2-3, or turn 4 followed by incredible draw engine. With this nerf, the only deck it can really snowball to death would be a deck that plays only tempo with no buffs, have no burn plans, and cannot effectively clear boards. In other words, the only deck it can reliably beat are meme and combo decks. That's hardly anything to cry about.
Thanks! Hearthstone is the only game I play (roughly 3 hours per day). Unfortunately, due to the skewed curve of the rewards track, level 70 is only about halfway to level 100, XP wise.
Arrived at level 78 now (20% to level 400) and finally completed all the XP achievements from Forged into the Barrens. The Druid achievement Buy One, Get One Free was really really REALLY horrible to complete, ugh! Much worse than the Greybough achievement from the previous expansion.
I will now focus on getting to 1000 wins for the remaining 5 classes to collect their corresponding hero portraits:
Refreshing 1 per spell is fine in decks with minions, because they usually run lots of spells anyway. If the deck has a 50:50 split between minions and spells, the Spring Water averages out to refreshing 1 mana, making it the same as Arcane Intellect. That's not killed at all.
Besides, I don't see why the card needs to still be good in a deck with minions. The whole point in its design is to support spell-heavy decks, not to support all mage decks.
Reached lvl 50 today, got that fiery Rexxar portrait (my first alt. Hunter face) and Varden Dawngrasp as a legendary reward. Semi-happy with Varden, not one of those I was hoping for but he should be useful.
Right now I'm considering saving gold for mid- & next expansion, way earlier than I use to, since I just opened another legendary. I never buy pre-orders and usually start saving somewhere in the middle between expansions. So should I keep buying packs until the pity timer hits again, or statr saving already? Any recomendations?
Ok, here are my ideas for this week. My personal favourite is Balance Keeper, but any feedback would be great.

Eagle Eyes is most fitting. However, I'm not a fan of the 'reveal a card' or 'see a card' effects. I just don't see them having any impact on the game in Hearthstone

I like Shadow Conjurer a bit more, it's pretty neat. Fair Student Cinaria is also good, but not sure if not a bit too strong, it is definetely an effect more disrupting for your opponent than you. Also, it fits Demon Hunter more than Warlock, because only Demon Hunter has cards which shuffle cards from opponent's hand to their deck.

it's not bad, but not sure if it counts. It actualy doesn't affect your hero, only heals and damages enemy hero.
Aww too bad I didn´t see this yesterday, I wanted to complete my first win 5 quest today and reroll it. Sigh, now I´ll have one less reroll. Typical Blizz, if players love something they´ve messed up, they will fix it immediatelly, but if it annoys us, they have plenty of time fixing it..
Mor'shan nerf was necessary because of how solid the Watch Post package as a whole is which leads to it, almost accidentally, completely kick Zoo decks (and just generally minion based midrange decks) out of the meta.
If I play Zoo and my opponent drops Watch post on curve and I can't kill it on board I'm just locked out of the game. At least now I could at the very least run Shadowbolt and kill it off clean.
as you said, Watch Posts shouldn't be playable in just any deck but rather in decks that can actually keep them alive
It's like saying the tradeoff for Pen Flinger is that you need to run a lot of cheap spells. It's not exactly a downside if the power level is already this high.
Anything that can help me complete Final Frontier?
I hate to craft Celestial Alignment just to complete it. I feel it's one of the card that won't be used in the future. And thankfully, I didn't open one in packs. Plus I don't have Brann to execute double Galakrond Rogue. So, it's kinda hard to just pull a 4 discounted cards when you need 5, and what's harder is you need to fill your deck with cards below 8 mana like Invoke cards. I'm thinking of combining it with Heistbaron Toggwaggle, but it will considerably worse because you need lackeys.
*confused screaming*
If you have Heistbaron that could easily work as well, but you'll probably need more set up.
Essentially you still just need to upgrade Galakrond, get the Wand of Heistbaron, empty your deck (Unstable Element probably helps a lot) then use scheme to shuffle a big drop of your choice.
If you run Galakrond you're already generating lackeys anyways, and they work well with Field Contact
Also, apparently there was some sort of bug with the achievement that made it not work with certain discounts like Aviana but they are fixing it today.
I think Paladin and Mage continue to dominate. Pen Flinger will just clear the way for the buffed up Paladin minions to get the win, machine gunning opposing boards.
Refreshing Spring Water willremain a ridiculous "draw 2 for 0". No-minion mage will continue to be insanely powerful, especially with Font of Power providing insane value far more often than it whiffs.
Rogue willbe less effective. I don't see anything else changing beyond a few less Lunacy high roll wins.
Still too early to tell. I agree that it might still be a strong deck even after the Deck of Lunacy nerf, but the other nerfs could allow faster decks to see play again. The nerfs to Sword of the Fallen and Pen Flinger could hurt the dominant Paladin archetypes, while the weakened watchposts (particularly Mor'shan Watch Post) could encourage players to play aggro decks again. The latter is something that Spell Mage doesn't want to see, given how it struggles against aggro decks or even those that go wide.
I'm guessing Spell Mage will be mid-to-lower tier 2 after the nerfs go live, since I'm expecting minion-focused decks to be the norm again. I'm guessing a Tempo Warrior or some form of Aggro DH and Hunter will crop up. The current meta is just one of the weirdest and most frustrating ever.

I agree, Steward is mostly picked up in early game now when you have no better options.
After the nerf it falls into "understated 3/3 minion with possible upsides" category, where the competition is strong: Warleader, Gambler, Packleader
