Neutrals are pretty easy to guess. Both the popular Watchposts are clearly way more common than they want them to be. Pen Flinger is most certainly getting the boot now.
Regarding Watch Posts, I don’t think play rate is a good enough reason alone for a nerf. Especially considering that they are neutral, so they will obviously be more common. Just look at Zilliax, Khartut Defender, among other popular defensive neutrals.
At this point, they feel balanced to me, both playing with them and against them. I also like the concept and creativity, so I’d like them to live freely for awhile.
Last minute thought. Do not think Refreshing springwater is going to get nerfed. At 5 mana (except with no minion mage) it becomes horrible with 1 minion drawn... Better to play the classic 3 mana draw 2 card
Ok, but the problem is with it in no minion mage...
I've seen streamers play Handbuff Warrior and Warmaul Challenger performed really well. It works so well with +2/+2 buff. If you consider a non-budget deck, I would check those decks.
I really like this idea! How do you feel about adding Warmaul Challenger? Seems like she'd scale great with hand buffs. Also, which cards would you remove first for the budget and non-budget replacements?
Neutral: [Hearthstone Card (Pen Fingler) Not Found] could get or not a cost reduction to 0 (don't panic, have an idea) or stay at 1 mana and make it's spellburst effect "Return this to your hand, this costs 1 more until next turn". This could stack up to 10 cost. So you could use it but in a more limited way without killing it.
The 2 cost watchpost could become a 3 cost card or a 2/3. Hope it does not get 1 more mana for it's cost or I will have to remove it from my even mage.

Alright, I'm gonna just throw out a few predictions.
Deck of Lunacy will be nerfed back into absolute meme status (either by nerfing the cost reduction or upping the cost to the point of redundancy)
Refreshing Spring Water might get hit even if it's hardly the biggest issue given that Spell Mage performs well almost exclusively because the much improved card generation pool.
Font of Power and Apexis Blast may or may not be on the radar too, but I doubt they'll nerf them right away before having seen how the deck performs with any of the above mentioned nerfs.
Sword of the Fallen probably goes up in cost or down in durability (the latter seems to be favoured these days)
Aldor Attendant might be reduced down to a 1/2. Either that or Hand of A'dal gets shafted completely, because holy fuck that combo just autowins the tempo matchup if you go first.
Similarly, First Day of School might also be on the list because not only is it a great way to make sure you can always play for tempo early on, but it also gives Paladin access to 1-drops that are even better than what they already have.
Not entirely sure what Rogue has done to warrant a class card nerf already, but I suspect it has something to with [Hearthstone Card (Self Sharpening Sword) Not Found] or Efficient Octo-bot. I can't actually guess which one it is because I HAVEN'T SEEN ANYTHING OTHER THAN PALADIN AND MAGE FOR THE LAST 3 DAYS.
Neutrals are pretty easy to guess. Both the popular Watchposts are clearly way more common than they want them to be. Pen Flinger is most certainly getting the boot now.
Hopefully they also realise that [Hearthstone Card (Murloc Crabrider) Not Found] is completely broken and finally gut that thing
I agree he should have played Font of Power prior to Deck of Lunacy for the options, but I think otherwise it seemed like the right play to drop Deck of Lunacy rather than float a mana.
You could maybe argue that he should have played Font of Power into the randomly generated Firebrand into Deck of Lunacy with the hopes of killing the Bonechewer Brawler with the spellburst, but the average outcome is that their Bonechewer Brawler becomes a 6/1 and their Toad of the Wilds dies. Then they'd play their new Toad and Mark of the Spikeshell on the 6/1 and go face for 8 (rather than trade with the 3/4 like they did). Now you're starting turn 5 at 16 health instead of 22, but you can trade on board with the Brawler and Apexis Blast the last minion on board. Ultimately that's probably better than what happened, since the Trick Totem didn't stop any incoming damage, leaving him at 14 at the start of turn 6.
I'm not sure that's better than just Font of Power into Fireball like you've suggested, but I'd always play the Deck of Lunacy there at the end of turn 4 regardless.
(Notably, I'm assuming all random card generation would have played out exactly the same as it did - maybe order matters and would have changed the results without Deck of Lunacy being played first.)
I would agree with your nerf proposals, but to say that you have no idea about spells from lunacy is just wrong. Bucket of spells is so small that you can have a good idea what will mage play if you played more than 3 games against it.
Its a tough one. I can see what kind of purpose they fulfil and it helps slow down the game a bit. But to me personaly they just feel so bad to play against
I tested it a bit for the first few days but Spell Mage absolutely ruins it as by and large this deck really needs opposing minions to interact with to get the most out of it. It's also by no means the most refined of lists. It was fun playing Saurfang and getting a lot of value out of him though.
I would say for the sake of the deck Saurfang is required but Rokara isn't, though she is very good with rush minions. Overlord Runthak is free in core so all good there.
There are some nerfs incoming and it's likely to effect Deck of Lunacy which might reduce the amount of spell mages and make this a bit more viable though the heart of the deck was built on the meme of 12 Angry Men so it may never be truly competitive.
Mankrik can't count as he can't be in the jury as his wife is dead. I reckoned the Bloodsail Deckhands were Goblins and all the other minions were either Trolls or Taurens.
I think this card is bugged yet again. After playing against it, my turn lasted infinitely or at least long enough for me to win the match by waiting for the opponent who was playing shudderwock (!) to concede out of frustration.
Six Card Changes are Coming to Hearthstone Next Week - Targets Mage, Paladin, Rogue, and Neutral Cards
Predicting changes -
Deck of Lunacy - Spells that cost 2 more
Penflinger - Spellburst: Return this minion to your hand at the end of your turn.
Sword of the Fallen - Durability reduced to 2.
Refreshing Spring Water - 4 mana draw 2. If you draw a spell, refresh two mana.
Morshan Watchpost - Summons reduced to 2/1
The absolute state of the meta
Just take a deep breath. Only a few days to go before the nerfs go live.

Let's try to predict what is going to happen!
Paladin: Sword of the Fallen might be going down to 2 durability
Mage: Deck of Lunacy might cost 4
Rogue: (Dual class?) Jandice Barov going to 6 mana
Neutral: [Hearthstone Card (Pen Fingler) Not Found] could get or not a cost reduction to 0 (don't panic, have an idea) or stay at 1 mana and make it's spellburst effect "Return this to your hand, this costs 1 more until next turn". Way to use different portraits
Actually I really like this Idea, random portraits would be great, now more with all the tavern pass skins (Still saving for them T.T

The Fireball was only 3 mana thanks to an earlier Incanter's Flow - he could ping the 4/1 Toad of the Wilds and Fireball a second minion in the same turn. Instead he floats a mana and drops Trick Totem.

Out of Cards Changelog - 2021-04-06
Great addition to the Hearthstone decks, kudos!
I have 2 suggestions for the generated decklist image to make them a little bit prettier:
- Apply the various rarity colors inside the cardname text
- Increase the opacity value to see the card images better
Rank up fast with NEW LIbram Paladin
7-1 so far - thanks!
Can we talk about Jaraxxus yet?
Jaraxxus aint the issue. Also comparing a top player like bunnyhoppor to the rest of us is a mistake. He could pilot a bad deck into top 10

12 Angry Orcs
Haha I counted it as follows:
Cruel Taskmaster x 2
Rokara
Warmaul Challenger x 2
Bloodboil Brute x 2
Overlord Saurfang
Blademaster Samuro
Barrens Blacksmith x 2
Overlord Runthak
Makes 12 Angry Orcs
Mankrik can't count as he can't be in the jury as his wife is dead. I reckoned the Bloodsail Deckhands were Goblins and all the other minions were either Trolls or Taurens.
