You have no cards that summon silver hand recruits? Yet you have silver hand recruit synergy cards? Are you new to hearthstone?
This is a control deck. It isn't a midrange deck. It isn't an aggro deck. This deck won't win by pushing damage. It will win by outlasting your opponent until they do not have enough resources to handle your hero power. It is more beneficial to have answers than it is to have cards that summon more recruits. Because it is a control deck. It doesn't matter that Mor'Shan Watchpost can't attack because it will force opponents to trade. We want this to happen because it is a control deck.
Interestingly enough, spell schools are not heavily supported in the expansion that introduces them. Some spell schools have no supporting cards at all.
I think that the concept of spell schools opens up cool design space, but as of right now I'm not seeing enough of it to warrant it as much of a deck strategy. A feature, not a core concept. Hopefully future expansions will lend more support to this idea.
- Wildfire is literally insane. If control mage makes a comeback, this is just backbreaking. Wonder why the hell is priest denied the Mind Shatter upgrade when they happily proceed to then give this to mage (Unless the second copy of wildfire literally just refreshes the hp)
I would imagine that this card is a lot of the reason for the situation with Mind Shatter.
Mage isn't Priest, and Priest isn't Mage, and a card that makes them both the same with regard to hero power is pretty poor design. The existence of one is almost certainly the reason for the non-existence of the other, not a reason it should exist.
Win by summoning dudes but as a control deck

New Paladin Minion - Northwatch Commander
I want to see secret paladin in wild with new secret support cards.
New Paladin Spell - Galloping Savior
Can't say I'm impressed. A fine thing to add to your hand/deck, but not put in it.
New Hunter Minion - Tavish Stormpike
This will be fun with some rush/charge chaining.
New Paladin Minion - Soldier's Caravan
Like a Sigil, but with counterplay. Hm. Should survive most of the time if played on curve.
New Priest Spell - Desperate Prayer
Looking forward to how this synergizes with other cards.
New Neutral Minion - Lushwater Scout
With this card, Murloc shaman will be top tier deck.
New Paladin Minion - Northwatch Commander
Solid minion on its own with upside most of the time it's played.
New Shaman Minion - Bru'kan
Gonna be a nice finisher if we get some added burn other than lightning bolt.
New Neutral Minion - Kindling Elemental
Staple for any elemental deck, but I don't think there are enough to make one work right now. Maybe mage but definitely not shaman
Forged in the Barrens
Interestingly enough, spell schools are not heavily supported in the expansion that introduces them. Some spell schools have no supporting cards at all.
Arcane - Nothing
Fire - Nothing
Frost - Rimetongue
Nature - Toad of the Wilds, Guff Runetotem, Bru'kan
Holy - Knight of Anointment, Cariel Roame, Veteran Warmedic, Spirit Healer
Shadow - Tamsin Roame
Fel - Nothing

Hearthstone Forged in the Barrens Final Card Reveal Stream Live Recap - All New Cards

New Neutral Minion - Shadow Hunter Vol'jin
Fun tech card but not sure it will stick around once meta stabalizes.
New Neutral Minion - Lushwater Murcenary
Pretty good
New Neutral Minion - Oasis Thrasher
Not enough of anything really
New Neutral Minion - Peon
Discover would be nicer. Random spell can be a crapshoot.
New Druid Spell - Thorngrowth Sentries
Dreamway Guardians was always a solid on-curve play in Token Druid decks and Thorngrowth Sentries will serve that same roll. There is some concern about Token Druid's viability without Savage Roar, but I think cards like Guff Runetotem can help replace Savage Roar.
New Neutral Minion - Lushwater Scout
Need more cheap murlocs to make it work
New Neutral Minion - Talented Arcanist
So clunky to make use in a spell damage deck
New Priest Minion - Soothsayer's Caravan
Even though this card doesn't seem strong, you have to deal with it as soon as possible)
New Warlock Spell - Soul Rend
Still not sold on this archetype but could be cool if it works.
New Neutral Minion - Toad of the Wilds
Meh, but what are you using it for
New Neutral Minion - Ratchet Privateer
Might be a surprise against board control but I think weapon tech will keep it in check
New Warlock Minion - Apothecary's Caravan
New era of Zoo lock incoming)
New Demon Hunter Minion - Kurtrus Ashfallen
Great pull off of studies
