I thought it was because they tried to implement it so that it will pass whenever the opponent pass just so they could burn their mana, but I have seen the AIs just pass entirely when they have an incredibly easy play like Sejuani or Thresh. The AI is just pretty weird honestly, both in Lab of Legends and in the AI matches. Occasionally just using Vile Feast on their unit instead of the enemies or just target the wrong unit. It seems to be a WIP but I prefer this over not trying to tweak it at all. They have recently made the AI matches better so now you can face much more different decks which I'm down for.
It seems to be broken, it just won't play stuff even if it has mana to play stuff, it just won't I see the bot pass a turn with Thresh in hand twice for no apparent reason..
Also the first one almost always skips playing the fleeting spider, wonder it it wants to actually get spell mana, or "play better"
It wasn't like that at first you always saw curve plays no matter what almost all the time.. think they tried to tweak it, or use some ML algorithem but it didn't do well there.
The Rng part is stupid they could of just made it select 2 enemy minons.
No, they couldn't. There is no effect in the game that allows you to make two selections. They'd have to add new functionality to the UI, and they are not going to do that for the sake of one spell.
I'm not saying they will never do that -- in fact, they probably should at some point. But not now, and not for just one card.
To be fair, Riot rarely nerf cards out of existence, they have the opposite problem, they let powerful cards/deck dominate for way too long. Just look at Hush that card was meta defining since the release of Call Of The Mountain, and even after many nerfs it's still strong if somewhat manageable. As for buffing other broken things into existence. The only instance of that happening is the Lee Sin and Bastion buffs. Granted those changes resulted in a dumpster fire of epic proportion. But it's not like they do it frequently.
You are right with you point that the 1 mana burst speed spell can be used for additional upside and that 6 x Flash Freeze is a pain in the ass for some decks yet you can't tell me that 2 mana is a justified manacost for this card because then you set yourself behind too much for the flexibility and when it comes to changing the speed: if this card is anything but burst speed it's easily on of the clunkiest spells in the game which would also proably kill the card.
While it might be that we might see a nerf to this card in the future I can't imagine any nerf that isn't outright killing the card...
For what it's worth, I agree it would be tough to change this in a way that doesn't nerf it out of existence. But I also think that's kind of what Riot does. They let broken combos exist long enough to be annoying, then they nerf them out of existence while buffing some other broken thing into existence.
HOT TAKE: TF is not the problem in Fizz TF. It was the power creep of card draw that made TF ridiculous, aswell as Stress Testing that nullifies the drawback of his catalyst cards like Pick a Card.
Ok let's go back in time and take a look at the various meta we had.
TF/Swain was one of the tier 1 one decks during Rising Tides and early Call of the mountain. He lost that spot during the dreaded Lee/Sin meta but then came the KD/A expansion and what was the best deck from that expansion? TF/Go Hard followed closely by Feel The Rush/control. Go Hard got nerfed but the deck was still competitive. Then we had the Aphelios mini expansion and what was the best deck from that expansion? TF/Fizz.
Now ask yourself this. What did all these top tier deck have in common? Was it Fortune Croaker? Stress Testing? Nope it's Twisted Fate that's where the problem lies.
Weell...I would guess your indifference to Boar stems from you forgetting they are fully unnerfing Quest Rogue. I dare say Boar is more a cause for concern than Bluegill if you have objections to charge.
Sonya is not 5/5 for tokens, prpe reduces by 2 not 3 and giggling is 6 not 5.
and evrythign else, espcially aggro is way stronger then before.
There was no botting involved whatsoever. I dare not risk a potential ban by Blizzard. As for the amount of time required should be about 4+ hours daily I reckon, although I did not keep precise track of that. Also, I would not recommend it because I felt it took away quite some fun of playing Hearthstone. Thus, I will not repeat it myself for the next rewards track.
It's all Yogg. The goal is to reduce either New Yogg or Brann with Skull of Guldan. Then Blur into Brann/New Yogg and pray for a Rod of Roasting to finish your opponent. I should've clarified, entirely a meme/highroll deck.
So, how's that Quest Rogue revert looking now everyone? Again, if Crystal Core simply targeted board, hand, and deck instead of having a completely unique effect of a persistent aura then bouncing a Boar would revert it to a 1/1.
Seems pretty clear this is a tiny detail on a card zoomed way in, a tactic they use all the time during reveal season. I'll be very surprised if this character is the real focus of the new card.

Ok, let the carnage begin.
The AI in lab of legends
I haven't played the labs of legends since the release of the expansion, I will do it tomorrow and let you know if I run into the same problems.

Am I the only one that noticed that?

New Neutral Minion - Blademaster Samuro
It's already a full enemy-only board clear with Plague Scientist. It does not need to get stronger than that.
(And if you only need to clear small- to medium-sized minions, Cold Blood works just fine.)
Hearthstone's Stonetusk Boar and Bluegill Warrior are Moving to Wild and Retain Charge - Two New Minions to Replace Them in the Core Set
Redgill warrior and Ysera's Boar, I'm calling it now.
New Shaman Spell - Chain Lightning (Rank 1)

It's a matter of critical mass. The more Charge tools they have to work with, the more dangerous the deck becomes.

umm... arent people playing the 2/1 pirate with charge or at least did when quest rogue was a thing?!
even if they nerved stonetusk, rogue would still have the tools to send in 5 dmg charge in your face
[Game] Card Treasure Hunt (The Resurrection Attempt)
Good guess but it isn't that one.
the hidden extra barrens pack experiment
I'm going to guess that the tavern brawl that week will give you a locked Barrens pack so all in all the same.

Can we keep the names "FluffyTusk" and "FluffyGill" .. That would make my week :)
