  • New Neutral Minion - Mankrik

    Lok'tar ogar!

  • New Neutral Minion - Razormane Raider

    Awesome arena card

  • New Shaman Spell - Chain Lightning (Rank 1)

Love the value and the artwork

  • New Paladin Spell - Equality

Reducing its cost but removing its eternal brother Wild Pyromancer

In other words, all this has accomplish is to make it even harder to full clear with equality, and makes Consecration almost mandatorily required if you're going to play this card.

It also have to answer this question: why play this over Libram of Justice, which at very least can get to 0 mana and gives you a weapon to destroy something.

  • New Hunter Minion - Sunscale Raptor

Good card, hunter happy to play it, even without draw support

  • New Priest Spell - Desperate Prayer

    Its a no from me.

  • New Hunter Minion - Sunscale Raptor

Good for arena, not so good for standard

  • New Shaman Minion - Bru'kan

A little too scarry. Def gonna get nerfed

  • New Warlock Spell - Imp Swarm (Rank 1)

Its an ok card, I guess

  • New Druid Minion - Druid of the Plains

    Feels extramelly good

  • Desperate Prayer

I'd never use this card unless they make like a legendary that makes the opponent's healing damage instead

  • When Basic Cards Rotate

    Staff

    From the official announcement blog:

"With the Classic Set joining the Legacy Set in Wild, all Classic cards and their Golden versions will now be craftable and disenchantable. Basic cards and their Golden versions will be granted to all players that have Wild unlocked for free at rotation, as will the normal versions of Demon Hunter Initiate cards (Golden Demon Hunter Initiate cards will still be craftable and disenchantable)."

So basically they're giving the Golden Basics to everyone (regardless of your class levels), I highly doubt they would be disenchantable because of that. Not to mention that Celestalon already confirmed that the rotating Basic cards will remain Free rarity (i.e. like they are right now) so they won't have a dust cost associated with them.

  • New Druid Minion - Druid of the Plains

Strong card.we will see if it will be played, druid has many strong minions and sometimes they are not played.

  • New Shaman Spell - Chain Lightning (Rank 1)

Solid card. It will be played

  • New Priest Spell - Desperate Prayer

In shadow form, to make damage could help. For healing not really, unless you discover it when you need.

Very "pragmatic" approach and streamlined too, I like it

  • [Game] Card Treasure Hunt (The Resurrection Attempt)

    Nothing is right.

1 - Think about why "nothing can we do with this".

2 - Superfast is key. We also "can do nothing with this" now.

3 - Third card name is hidden in text.

  • New Warrior Spell - Brawl

Okay, so I dug up the comments about card draw (https://outof.cards/hearthstone/2745-dean-ayalas-community-qa-8-social-features-future-of-shaman-charge-combos-top-legend-rewards-pre-release). The specific remark by Dean Ayala is:

"We originally pulled back on draw for Shaman but we're putting it back, along with any other classes that were draw restricted.

Draw is something that we'd like all classes to have some options in, while only a few classes excel at having full hands and mass draw cards like Sprint."

I don't read that as "Warrior will get replacements for all their good draw tools." Losing Battle Rage strongly implies that Team 5 is trying to remove Warrior from the list of "full hand/mass draw" classes. And the removal of Shield Block and Shield Slam in favor of Shieldmaiden and Warsong Outrider suggests that Control Warrior is moving away from spell-based armor/removal and towards more minion-based armor/removal. These two factors should weaken Brawl considerably. Not only will it be less likely to show up in your hand (because you have fewer mass draw tools), but you'll be developing a board and less excited about using Brawl to clear the enemy board because it will cost you considerably too.

Honestly, I hope you're right, but we'll see in the next few days I guess.

  • [Game] Card Treasure Hunt (The Resurrection Attempt)

    C'Thun?

The twins being Twin Emperor Vek'lor.

The superfast could be Disciple of C'Thun, which was a really good card for the deck.

After that, I'm at a loss.

Nice idea with the augmerchants! I'll keep that in mind when reveal season starts. Some feedback, even if it wasn't asked for:

It's an iconic character and well worthy of a legendary. What troubles me is the that Garona actually steals your opponent's cards, which is unprecedented in Hearthstone as far as I know. If it would draw copies, that would be very flavorful and a good fit for Rogue. But outright stealing is way OP in my opinion. Think what could be done in Wild with Brann Bronzebeard and Shadowstep alone! I'm also one of those nitpicks that prefer using the correct watermark ;-)

Very cool cards both of them, well done! I think I'd prefer Shadow Outlaw if this was a competition, but Light Archwarden is a really nice adaption of Horrendous Growth.

  • When Basic Cards Rotate

I think they Will become disenchantable. Like 70% sure (thinking about a smooth tránsition). So I AM also recommending reaching lvl 60 and did so with DH before blizzcon.

I won't be dissapointed if it does not happen but I think it is the way to go.

Anyways I cannot bring myself to disenchant Golden Extra cards. I have a Big problem with that.

You can play around Plagiarize pretty easily but yeah good point

  • Cydonianknight's Custom Core Set - Hearthstone Fan Community Spotlight

Triggering at the start of a turn is functionally the same thing as triggering at the end of your opponent's turn in Hearthstone, and we recently had both Plagiarize and Rigged Faire Game trigger then. Granted neither of them affect the opponent's board so we have to be a bit careful in the comparison with Patient Stab, but certainly it doesn't look like Blizz has an issue with end/start of turn triggers.

As I have already pointed out in the other thread, I seriously doubt that the former Basic cards will be disenchantable. To add something constructive to the discussion, I'd like to suggest that someone directly asks Iksar in his weekly Q&A about it. Sadly those take place at 4 a.m. at my place, so maybe one of you guys could do the job? I would really love to be wrong about this and it might even change if / which package I will preorder (maybe that's why they're silent about it?).

I'd have to agree unfortunately. If Thonson's calc is correct, then that's basically giving away 16100 dust without another thought, and that's a fairly huge collection of dust, not even counting dusting the normal cards.

Not to say that corporate greed extend to such pettiness, but its something that really just need further clarifications.
