Hamuul being seperate is nto for evryone. only some countries have that option. for rest of world he is onyl with the bundle

I just love the possibility of removing Freijord from its shadow isles late game identity. There are a lot of regions that offer control options, or synergy points.

Like what if I want to be in targon for Asol...because fun. We get our 8/8's on clock thats an auto level on curve.

What if I want to be in Ezreal just so I can mystic shot things?

What if I wajt to play the new region so I can duplicate landmark triggers?

What if I want to bounce things and stun things in Ionia that's would be awesome.

WOW, their selling a skin for gold? Thats AMAZING! Congrats to all who didn't have Thunder King yet! 

Also it kinda makes sense that Thunder King would be the first skin purchasable with gold, considering that the emotes from Thunder King aren't that good compared to most of the other hero skins. And Thunder king was made to raise money for Hearthstone Masters Tour Events in 2019, so that's probably also something that could have been a factor in this decision. I hope they will give other skins in the future this treatment as well! This would also really help the F2P players get acces to some more hero skins!

(And i wouldn't mind it if future BoH skins were also purchasable with gold, because let's be honest. Those things probably don't sell THAT well either way.)

Oh I see, I just happened to get here too early, just wondered why I didn't see them with the cards that's all of course I appreciate your great work getting everything covered as always.

Good call. It would be pretty silly to buy Classic packs at this point.

(Yes, you can use them in Classic mode, but I assume the people interested in that already have all the Classic cards they care about. Plus, they are still "rotating soon.")

The Tavern Pass is meant to be light on functionality and more aimed at giving you vanity options. It doesn’t affect your gameplay outside of the small impact it has on XP gain.

It's not a small impact. The extra gold generated by the bonus XP will be buying me a lot of packs. Maybe not 20 packs (so it may not quite pay for itself), but definitely more than a dozen. I think for those who play more than I do and who chase achievements and such, it may actually pay for itself.

It might be good for Sejuani decks but those get to deal nexus damage in many ways already so yeah... it's rather clunky 

It's a good thing they allow players to buy cosmetics with golds. That said, I wont buy it since it will make less packs for the new expansion.

Imagine playing a Teemo deck against this.

I'm talking about people who have been around since launch, who did spend a considerable chunk of money on Classic. Those people may not miss the Legacy cards themselves, but those cards used to be called "evergreen" for a reason. For better or worse, Blizzard's original statement when Standard rotations began was that Classic would always be in Standard. Turns out it was for the worse, and I would never dispute that -- evergreen is clearly bad for the game. But that's why the new Classic mode is an apology. They are canceling hundreds of cards that were supposed to be permanent.

And again, I'm not saying it's wrong or a bad decision. I'm just saying it's kind of stupid that these articles keep saying it's a boon to the wallets of veteran players when that is clearly not the case.

Modalko does make a good point about Tavern Brawls. It will be a nice boost when those start rewarding expansion packs. Wait, wait, wait. No. Tavern Brawl rewards are a completely separate issue. Those could and should have been changed with or without the shift to Core. Completely irrelevant to the topic at hand.

I also cannot agree that it's a benefit to be able to dust Legacy cards, however. Dungeon Runs, Tavern Brawls, and even Duels have shown that strip mining your collection can have terrible repercussions.

For all the awkwardness of playing this I'd rather just use Avalanche. I can use spell mana and I get to use it right after they toss minions down to stop them from attacking with them. This only has a minor upside in the form of healing your Nexus for 2 since it also deals 2 damage to your nexus. Its simply not worth it. 

I knew that she wasn't gonna get stun because riot wants every region to have a bunch of specific key words, but I was hoping for some frostbite synergy.

my guess is they wanted to expand freljord from being too lockdown focussed. Blame Seju and Ashe for coming out first

March would definitely be an early release, considering every first expansion of the year so far has been between April 2nd to April 26th

Side note: Every 2nd expansion has been released in an August and most 3rd expansions have been released in December, with the exception of League of Explorers (2015 Nov 12) and Darkmoon Faire (2020 Nov 17)

In other cases where the cost of a card matters, it takes the current cost, not the original.

Professor von Yipp, for instance, will buff a Brightsteel Protector whose cost is reduced to 1, but not a Teemo whose cost is reduced to 0.

That is not at all what I was expecting from my second-favorite champion. No Frostbite, no Stun? She's like the Queen of CC, and she barely has any CC.

This isn't really a big deal but... shouldn't all four of these be tagged as "Rotating Soon"?!  Small indie game companies, man!  I tell you!
