It feels good to me. I usually play my dailys and then a bit more, finishing on Diamond 10 or 5 in Wild. I'm currently at around 5.200 gold, but I've bought the mid expansion for 2.000. I guess reaching 10k should be no problem if you play 30-60 minutes each day.
I must say that the grind to level 50 was quite a bad experience though. It feels way more rewarding to level up once you've passed that threshold. Remains to be seen if the changes they announced for this issue really help (if I remember correctly, the new goal is at 100 and the required XP per level got cut in half).
Some of you might remember me (good), some might not (probably better). About half a year ago I decided to quit the game for good for various reasons (the main one being the unchanging frustration about the meta always being worse than expected. Fuck Demon Hunter, all my homies hate Demon Hunter) and while it was one of the best decisions I had made in a long time, reading about the upcoming Core Set really caught my interest again. Basically I'm too curious to see how that will turn out to not make the smarter decision of just ignoring it.
However, since I quit before thee Tavern Pass was introduced I have literally no idea how the HS f2p economy is nowadays. I know that the Pass was pretty dogshit when it first came out and it resulted in a number of changes. Did these changes actually fix the problems? Or more specifically: Are you still able to accquire the same amount of gold (roughly) in between expansions for the same amount of playtime.
I remember my personal highscore being over 10k gold saved up. Is that possible in the current system without spending absurd amounts of time? Is there an overall gold average that casual players can report?
I really don#t care about catching up with the current expansion since I have at least 2k gold still lying around and more dust than I need, but I really want to know how long it would take to, say, farm 5k gold?
Personaly id rather not see Tess in the core (even if i do like the card alot) I feel she would need ot much of the rogue core set to be build around her that it would leave all otehr archetypes for rogue(like Deathrattle for example) with to few cards
I think something likek a buffex Xaril would be a better idea as it could help multiple archetypes not just 1.
Since few cards returning from wild, I think they want to avoid including any old keyword. So those cards is gonna be without any keyword, but still pack a punch to the Standard meta
Minuano like i said before it doesnt matter if there is or not any answers to them, its how they function that makes it feel un fun to play with or against. balance is important but so many developers keep forgetting to ask is it fun (yes i get its subjective but if a decent chunk of ppl are vocal about then there is an obvious need to review). i said cards like the flight or fizz is exactly how they should function, 1 time use like other card games did but similar mechanics were already hated but now its worse feeling now that it can last the whole game. im not asking for a nerf im asking for a rework, again stat boost, bonus mechanic, new support cards, ANYTHING ELSE but the factor they stay invisible. its the one single mechanic that makes me question playing at all, ive been lenient with some broken cards before but alot of them gave funny moments and eventual fixes but elusives need a whole in depth look.
I can see Mage being top tier. Like, every time i pick it, i just put every card that says "elemental" or "secret" on it into my deck, and I always end up at at least 8 wins somehow.
Hi everyone, I just wanted to make a sneak peak of the project me and my team have been working on called The Halls of Brawl. Bizmo Brawlpub and Boss Bazzelflange wanna settle the score and figure out which Brawler's Guild—the Horde's or the Alliance's— has the better fighter, and their solution was to launch a tournament of epic proportions and see, once and for all, which faction fights the hardest.
I will let everyone name one card (none of the italicized names), and at 8:00pm EST I will return with a straw poll with all the cards that were named, at which point you guys can vote on the card you want to see. See you guys then!
Are we talking big elusives or the ones that are more meta and vulnerable to the multitude of ping affects available to shadow isles?
I too came from mtg, so for those that are new to the game certain cards are pretty much auto includes in their respective regions. Things like mystic shot in P & Z and vile feast in shadow.
Elusive cards are fine. Most of them are balanced by the fact that they have underwhelming stats for their mana price, we also have more cards that can counter them like Hush and Sharpsight. Some elusive cards however could use an appointment with the nerf hammer, looking at you Wiggly Burblefish.
I love that each mod's picks show the kind of fun they have in Hearthstone.
Slamming big cool cards, succeeding with weird archetypes, generating oodles of random bits, straight face-smashing... Just goes to show, there are many ways to play!
Is the Tavern Pass fixed now?

Since they're in the Hall of Fame, and we know only Shadowform is returning from there, we can safely say they will not be in the Core set this year.
