I can't see any scenario where this is bad. You can play it by turn 5, and even if it casts a copy of a single target spell on some weak minion, it doesn't matter since you can still use it on whatever you want. Good thing DH doesn't have minion buff spells except for Through Fel and Flames. Maybe don't put that in a deck with this.

You didn't have to deal with installation, managing disk space, downloading updates, excessive loading times, tweaking settings to get good performance etc.

I'm super curious what the next league is going to be. Crucible is a bit of a snoozefest and I assumed that was dude to PoE2 dropping at ExileCon into beta, and they'd just forgo a new season.
It sounds like Beta is a bit of a ways away though since promotional stuff for upcoming cons (ExileCon, Gamescom, and I believe a PAX event) says people can play PoE 2 at the show floor but the wording seemed like it would be the only real opportunity to play it, which puts us at least a few months away from a real public beta.
Which means at least one more full season for PoE1.
Nice set of MTX, though the time slot for the first drop is rather painful for Europe. I wonder if they're in any way related (lore-wise) to what they'll be showing off for POE2. I do recall corruption being a part of the sequel's story.
I also remember Bex or Chris Wilson saying POE1's next league (also being revealed at Exilecon) will make us go "goblin mode", and I'm not sure if that should be taken literally.
In general it feels like they stripped out some of the good so they could sell that power, survivability, and XP-stuff back to us with the Seasons. Maybe not literally, but still they entice you to jump to Seasonal content just to get back what you lost. Probably feels really bad for anyone who planned to stay in the Eternal realm (and thus won't access the boosts or Malignant Hearts).
As of writing, a new patch was rolled out for The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, putting the game on version 4.04 and offering a rather long list of bug fixes and improvements to the game.
