I think new game mode for this exp cycle is the new version of standard with rotating availability of sets/cards. Current standard will still exist as “Classic” mode so people can still play the way they do now if new standard mode is a failure.
It was pretty obvious that nerf, you didn't have to be very smart to realize that an area capable of doing 5 area damages for only 1 mana is a problem. The only card in the game capable of doing that is a Nautilus treasure and it's an RNG card that does damage to your minions and does not damage the nexus.
Now to wait until February to see grand plaza nerfs..
If this is a priest skin, then its a further slap in the face for the lack of rogue skins all round.
Yes, it does look good. But I highly doubt they would actually sell this as a priest skin. The fact that he looks exactly like a rogue doesn't help matters. While I'm sure no one's that dumb, if I encounter this in a game without any prior knowledge its conceivable that I would have mulligan my cards expecting to face a rogue, not priest.
I don't think Lee Sin is the problem. He was unplayable at 6 so can't really change him again. To me the problem is all the targon cards being overtuned that enable Lee Sin to be good. Almost every game is Targon + X. Targon just has way too much utility.
Thank God this card was nerfed, hopefully all the TF/Go Hard players switch decks and the playrate goes down. Now the only major issues are Grand Plaza and Lee Sin (Lee Sin might not statistically be a problem, but I find him so annoying that I want the playrate to be near zero).
I commented on this when the event first went live and was hoping we wouldn't see it brought up again because it can be "abused". It's an issue with how dumb our tasks system is and how, right now, it isn't really worth the time to flesh it out more since it will be abandoned in favor of something more advanced in the future. I don't really mind that you can "exploit" it because honestly, it's all fun and games and since it's available for everyone and not just a few people, it feels fair.
TL;DR: Won't fix, don't really consider it an issue even though it kind of is. Have fun and have some snowflakes. *throws snowball*

Well Valeera was shown in a comic to be training him to throw knives and it is perfectly believable that such training continued when Valeera returned to Stormwind after helping defeat Cho'gall.
It's a shame the WoW team chose not to use her much until HS made her popular, so all this stuff is either implicit or mentioned off-hand way later. Chapter 11 of Before the Storm demonstrates their relationship the best, and makes it clear those two are extremely close friends and that Valeera helped Anduin a lot over the years.

As a standalone card yes, but if you look at the deck's game plan and what it's trying to accomplish I think the answer is no.
Evocation is very good in Cyclone Mage - however, Ike modified this list so that the matchup against Shaman will be better.
Against Thrall you don't need value: you're trying to stall and survive.
Again, Evocation is not a bad card: it's just that it's not very good in this particular list.
