The reduction in experience took place at the end portion of the track, so if you weren't deep into it yet, you won't have seen much of a change if any at all.
We’re reducing the requirements of the current rewards track by a total of 37,000 XP (nearly 20%), which will make mid-to-late levels easier to reach and adjust for the absence of XP events. After this change, you’ll see that the XP requirement for a variety of levels will be lower and progression through levels will be faster. This is one step to ensure that progress through the rewards track feels consistent and doesn’t hit unusually slow periods of progress. The upcoming changes to daily and weekly quests should also support more rapid progress through these levels.
To clarify, since I've seen some designs here that won't fit, we're specifically looking for characters that have already had playable cards (or were tokens like Amara, Warden of Hope). The various characters from adventures wouldn't count, since they were never in Standard - we're looking for a new interpretation, not a completely original card.
I'm updating the rules to note this too.
Well there goes my hope of Krizgut oh well back to the board
I love how the C'Thun Achievements are "Mathematically Impossible", because back in Vanilla it was Mathematically proven to be impossible to beat the C'Thun encounter in AQ40. Nice Throwback.
Or how about an option to deactivate seeable up- and downvotes? I have no real interest in seeing how "the majority" likes or dislikes certain posts. I want an "unrated" look on posts I read for the first time.
I actually like this idea. Hidden votes (for comments/posts). Decks should still show the vote count to show popularity of them though.

You are right about the Skull, the draw engine and cost reduction is too powerful. I’m guessing it will leave standard with the next rotation so Blizzard might be keeping it as/is in the hopes that it might one day enable the fabled “Big Demon Hunter”

Personally, I've been enjoying Heroic Duels more than standard recently. This doesn't mean that I don't have any problems with the mode, I certainly do. Mainly, beyond Warlock and DH, I think the sameness you are referring to is mainly a result of how powerful C'Thun, the Shattered is in Duels. If you aren't a super aggressive deck like Hunter or DH, then running C'Thun helps you have a consistent win condition to make it into higher wins. For me, the higher wins I get, the more I see opponents running C'Thun. I'm honestly surprised that Team 5 didn't ban C'Thun in the most recent Duels balance update, C'Thun's presence adds another expensive angle of Duels to remain viable in an already expensive mode.
In terms of my other gripes with the mode, I'm a little sad they didn't balance any of the passives in the recent update. Double Time by far is the most powerful standalone passive and most, if not all, of my opponents north of 7 wins have it (with the exception of Hunter). I also really hate the passive combination of Cannibalism and From the Swamp, as it creates a non-interactive experience where if you don't have multiple board clears that remove all of your opponents minions at once or go face before they remove your minions, you just lose. I have no doubt Team 5 will continue to balance the classes for Duels, but I really hop they take a look at the passive treasures.
I've also experienced the chain queueing issue where I've queued into the same person 2-3 times in a row. It's not a fun experience either way and it goes to show how few people are playing Heroic Duels, probably because of its inefficient reward scheme.
Overall, I think Duels has the potential to be a really fun mode for most players, but they need to make further balance changes, make the mode more accessible to people, and make it more rewarding for Heroic Duels.
There is some upside to Reader over Divine Favour. Firstly, it's a body, even if a bad one. If you land on a poor or slow hand or a bad matchup, Divine Favour may just be rotting in your hand doing nothing the whole match while you're pressing the hero power and hoping for something playable. Reader at least gives you some stats on the board and can be preplayed if you intend to dump your hand the turn after.
Secondly, it's drawn out by Crystology as you mention. The thing is Crystology actually doesn't have that many targets in the deck, many lists only run 2x Righteous Protector, 2x Tour Guide (some add a Broomstick but that's about it, some even cut the protectors for a Pirate package). Crystology can end up being a draw 1 or a dead card in your hand. With Reader in the deck you can essentially chain draw into draw so that you're never out of fuel and can tune your deck to be more aggressive to ensure your hand is empty for Reader to work its magic (cutting Lothraxion for Stewards, cutting Blessing of Authority that some decks run for something like a Pirate/weapon package).
Finally, and this is an important factor, Reader does not give a damn about your opponent's hand. If your opponent vomitted their hand fast or you forced them to commit most of their resources to clearing your board turn after turn, Divine Favour doesn't do much of anything. Reader only cares about your hand size so in aggro vs aggro matchups reader will get you the draw that Divine Favour fails to provide. And its weakness in aggro matchups is one of the main reasons why Divine Favour is being phased out to a single copy.
I'm not saying that the addition of Reader to Odd Paladin is going to break the meta. As things are Odd Paladin isn't as great of a deck as it originally seemed. But it's definitely worth considering the addition, it's not a clear cut case. Aluneth vs Sayge kinda situation.
