  • Heimer is bugged.

Your "bug" was proably that you had 8 or more cards in hand and you didn't get the t-hex because your hand was full after drawing 3... wasn't it like that? ;)

  • How soon is too soon to craft?

By now most of us have had a chance to make at least a few decks with the new cards.  We obviously have NOT had enough time to see what the meta will be like, let alone if the cards we liked in theory are worth a damn.

That being said, I am getting the itchy crafting finger to want to craft Tickatus and Y'Shaarj, the Defiler for a theory craft Wild deck I have.  Given that both of these are legendary, the craft cost is not cheap.

So my questions I have to pose for the community is this... what are the cards you want to craft, and how long do you usually wait to craft cards after a release?

  • Heimer is bugged.

The bug cost me a game. Fix it! I used a Progress Day! and he didn't make a turret for it.

  • Who's the dev that thought Tickatus is balanced card ?

Just got it this morning in a random pack I bought out of nothing better to do, and got to admit, it breaks combo decks, it's the perfect counter to Razakus Priest, DMH Warrior and the likes.

It's insane value against those, but still, Token/aggro druid won on turn 3 against it, and against almost everything else, so... There are other unbalanced cards out there, which in all, are a lot easier to pull and a lot more deserving of the hate.

So put the salt in the shelf with the pepper and enjoy that Disrupt Warlock can do something more than just Gnomeferatu or Void Contract, or the "My opponent has 3 cards left, let's Azari, the Devourer and get value out of a long ass combo!"

  • Elite OTK warrior V2

I tried the deck, and if you don't happen to find any drawing card soon against tempo decks it's almost impossible to win.

  • Old Gods, New Tricks - Card Design Competition Discussion Thread

@Wailor, I want to do more than just stats, but I do think you are right and that it should be simplified. How does this look?

    Quote From KANSAS

I think I will go with Small Frog (now named Icky Toad) mainly because I couldn't find any fitting art for Zookeeper. If anybody can find good art of a Murloc or a Dragon or something taking care of some animals, please let me know.

I am still not entirely set on the ability. Should it have more base stats and less corrupted stats? Should it deal more or less damage? Should the full battlecry be on the base version, and the corrupted version just get extra stats? Feedback is greatly appreciated.

I think I prefer your previous version where it simply gained stats. The current effect doesn't seem very cohesive and simple cards tend to do pretty well, also. If you decide to go with that effect, I'd suggest making it a Common.

    About the statline, the previous 1/3 -> 3/3 seems a bit too strong. I prefer the current 1/2 -> 2/3 or alternatively, 1/2 -> 3/2.

  • Early Darkmoon achievements for XP

Back to collecting that sweet sweet xp today after not being able once the expansion launched, I've done My Friend is at the Front & Missing: Holy Hand Grenade in the Warlock section plus Harmless Little Bunny 1/3 in the Neutral section.

    *********************************************

Completed Harmless Little Bunny 2/3 & It's N'Zothing, Really. And now that I completed the N'Zoth achievement I noticed there isn't an achievement associated with Y'Shaarj... Team 5 dun goofed up guys & gals.

    *********************************************

Escalating Antics 1/3 is done along with Embrace the Void 1/4 & F2PBTW 1/4. Toss Me! is also done. (took me a few tries on that in duels) The last achievement that I have done for the day was Tonk Commander 1/3.

@op: what is a stealth rouge and why isn't it a stealth yellow? :)

Oh yeah uh stealth rouge it's a new archetype way better than stealth rogue although I will admit stealth yellow is much more enjoyable to go against.

  • Scholomance EVEN Warlock

Is this decklist going to be updated for darkmoon faire? I'm not quite sure what the set brought for even warlock.

    Quote From Erodos

Why did you spend your gold on Scholomance packs (15 of them, taking the average of 1 epic per 5 packs) for duels and then complain that you don't have enough Darkmoon Faire cards to play standard? You made the conscious decision to spend most of your gold in order to gain a new treasure in duels, why don't you just play duels then and wait until you have enough gold to buy more Darkmoon Faire packs to play standard? Frankly, I'm a bit surprised you only had enough gold to buy 20 packs, and I'm a bit baffled that you chose to spend the vast majority of that gold to buy old packs in order to gain a bonus in a game mode that is apparently not your priority.

Now this is a fair point but I spent that gold because I thought duels would be a fun mode since I loved the dungeon runs, but then after playing like 20 matches I realized I actually hated it. It's all fun and games until you have to face someone with from the swamp and bee band as paladin or some weird taunt warrior as rouge. Not to mention my collection is already pretty weak since they culled like 50% of what I actually have for duels. So while yes it was my choice to spend it on something I thought would be fun I found out I actually didn't really like it as much as I expected.

  • Over 100 Mythgard Cards Have Changed in Today's Patch - 19.3 Full Patch Notes

My lord, for Hearthstone we feel pretty lucky if we have more than 10 changes within an expansion. xD

  • Who's the dev that thought Tickatus is balanced card ?

Probably the whole team needs to be fired, or just their stupid bosses forcing them to create abominations every expansions because of some "design process" that actually just makes them more money. Remember the target audience for this game. This says it all.

  • Is Duels broken for anyone else?

Definitely bugged. Treasures/Bundles that have only 2 of the 3 options showing until you back out (or restart entirely if it freezes) and go back in. Disconnect issues.

  • Pack Opening Results

A nice haul for me, so far. I purchased the small bundle to gain early access to Duels (which I love), plus the reward/promo packs, then purchased 12 to round out my day one opening at 60 packs.

    Rare: 63 (3 golden)

    Epic: 13 (0 golden)

    Legendary: 5 (1 golden - C'Thun, the Shattered)

(not counting legendary cards from the level 1 track reward, 1 from preorder, or Silas Darkmoon)

EDIT: My luck continues. 5 more packs yielded 4 rares, 1 epic, and a golden Zai, the Incredible!

  • Over 100 Mythgard Cards Have Changed in Today's Patch - 19.3 Full Patch Notes

I was champion in Beta for this game and have 95% of the cards, but honestly this is part of the reason I personally no longer play it, too many tweaks for my tastes. Still hope it flourishes as in principle it is a good game.

  • Hearthstone's Game Director Responds to the Rewards Track

Events should be bonus, they weren't calculate before, they shouldn't be needed now. Weekly quests should be also on top of what we used to have, imagine if we had old system and they would added these weekly quests, 100g a piece would easily result to 3x4x4x100= 4800g per expansion, well that would be to generous for Blizzard even with the mid expansion mini expansion which should be something like 3000g (based on previous adventures). Now we have to do even weekly quests, daily quests, use our precious experience to unlock freebies that we used to get for free (legendary, 6 packs with new expansion).

Getting slightly less is typical Blizzard way of showing their greed when reworking some old system. The premium track containing some skins and experience boost is "really" generous for 20$, the track should really be part of preorder. Most of games with season pass cost 10$ and if you finish it, you will get premium currency for another one "free" of charge.

Why is the track soo barren, 90% is just gold, what about some dust and other stuff that we could have in there? Premium track could be littered with older packs if it cost 20$. In other games, season pass is first investment (with real money) that players do thanks generous offer of different stuff that is unlocked by them.

Moreover why we couldn't get gold in 1:1 ratio for achievement points? The experience that we get from some of them is really just good joke. Sure I have 7k without even trying, but it's thanks to all the stuff that I did during past 6 years. There is no way our generous overlords would ever do that.

I will keep my pitchfork in my hand, and torch in my other hand. I really can't overlook this and it's probably really a turning point to help me finally quit the game. Btw, I only bought Witchwood preorder otherwise, I was F2P with 12K gold and 30K dust before the expansion, but for last ~3 expansions this game really lost lot of it appeal.

Hearthstone isn't really a game that, I could recommend to a friend, and this is it's the biggest problem that this game have.

  • Hearthstone's Game Director Responds to the Rewards Track

Respectfully, this is the last straw for me in terms of paying for HS again. The response is borderline a slap in the face and extremely passive aggressive still indicating the community is at fault and "miscalculating" things.

I (still) enjoy the game and have had an excellent time and achieved legend etc.

I will now become a 1-2 class player for as long as that is feasible and enjoy the game that way. I realize now that I was probably never as super casual as I would have liked to believe and this battlepass scenario has really opened my eyes.

I will still add in my 2 cents here every once in awhile and am firmly on the community/consumer side in this situation.

Off to dust many classes...may your ladders be rope free!!!!

Game came out of beta in September. We wrote an article when it happened.

Is the game in beta right now or did they make that many changes to a live game?

  • Blizzard Screwed Up With the Rewards Track - A Letter to Hearthstone

We Should Still Enjoy the Expansion

I take umbrage with this point. I've been playing Hearthstone for 6 years. I WANT to keep playing and enjoying Hearthstone and for some reason the people that should want me to keep playing keep making it a more miserable experience. I opened my packs with my wife last night. We both got 1 or 2 legendaries in our 30-40 packs, which is significantly less then we usually have, and then we closed our clients. It's probably not so much that I couldn't make at least a deck, just that this whole debacle is draining my faith and my will to play. I just don't feel it anymore. At this point, I feel like I'm trying to force enthusiasm to play. Yeah the game is probably still good, when will I get to play it? I might have a few ladder competitive decks about the time a new mini-expansion drops and further changes the meta and then I'm right back to playing catch up again with an even worse system designed to keep me behind? Just, why?

Also, last expansion in order to stay F2P I dusted everything Hunter, Demon Hunter, and Druid. I've already cut myself down to 7 classes to try to continue to keep up. I've been considering dropping even more.

I'm 34 years old. I've gone through loss, I've grown apart from some great friends, and I've had to cut people out of my life that just weren't good for me. At this point I think Blizzard is one of those relationships that I still think I want to work but honestly my life would be better without. I know what I'm worth, and I'm worth more then this.
