  • DMF Poll.

There are two changes I think Hearthstone should make to help players get better cards. One, adjust the dusting system to be a 1-in-3 instead of the current 1-in-4. Legendary cards craft for 900 and dust for 300, epics craft for 300 and dust for 100, rares craft for 100 and dust for 30, commons craft for 30 and dust for 10. It isn't quite as drastic as your 1-in-2 exchange rate, but I think this system is good enough.

Second, I think we should focus less on pack quantity and more on pack quality. More than half of the packs people open are simple 40 dust packs, the worst possible outcome. I think that the lowest value pack shouldn't appear nearly as often as it does, only about one every 3 packs should be 40 dust, every other pack should have at least one extra rarity or golden card. Right now, legendaries appear one in every 40, and they get more likely after 20. And epics appear every one in 10, and are more likely after 5. Instead, legendaries should come every 30, and get more likely after 10. And epics should come every 7, and get more likely after 3.

These two changes would go a long way in helping players get better cards for their collections and let you get more dust with fewer packs.

  • New Mage Minion - Firework Elemental

    Quote From Skorpionex

Cool card with DK Jaina. Deal 12 dmg, heal for 12.

Oh, I hadn't even considered that. I love this card now! DK Jaina was always quite fun to play with, especially when you got a big health swing like with Ragnaros or Baron Geddon.

  • New Neutral Minion - Yogg-Saron, Master of Fate

This is it, the one card I truly long for in this expansion.

Gotta love the "RNG bad" crowd, though.

Mulligan decides who wins - okey dokey

Top-deck decides who wins - fine by me

Drawing a tech card at the right time with the right match-up and winning thanks to it - great design

    Match-up deciding who wins - A+ stuff

Discolock winning or losing based on what cards get discarded - no complaints here

Soul shards/Bombs/Albatrosses being drawn - lol pretty epic

Phase Stalker/Mad Scientist pulling the right secret needed to dominate early game - nice

Aggro match where each player only draws 5 random cards out of their 25 - nothing wrong with it

10-mana card that does unpredictable, possibly backfiring stuff after being built around - OMFG blizzard why u release rengo cards? rip skill in hearthstone

Honestly, to me it feels like the real issue is that it makes the randomness too obvious and people realize how little control they actually have over their games, but who knows. I just hope that, if people really get angry over Yogg existing in the game and ruining their skill (again), Blizzard just rotates him to Wild early. If Yogg gets nerfed while Baku and Genn taint Wild unchanged, I'll be quite pissed lol.

  • New Neutral Minion - C'Thun, the Shattered

It's my golden craft for the expansion.  Will put it in every highlander list I make, and some rogue decks.  Even if it doesn't kill, it will most likely clear their board.  Really like the card a ton.

  • New Warrior Minion - E.T.C., God of Metal

Love this card, and nuts with Playmaker or Restless Mummy. Only limitation is needing the enemy to have minions to attack into.

  • New Shaman Minion - Inara Stormcrash

Hero attack is always a dangerous thing because you can just hit the opponent's face, and giving windfury seems dangerous.  Combo i could think of is you have one minion on the board, stormstrike inara lightning bloom stromstrike with a whack-a-gnoll full durability for 22 burst damage and a 6-7/6-4 on board.  Not feasible, but the most damage I could think of.

  • New Neutral Minion - C'Thun, the Shattered

A lot of build up to make this work, and definitely needs to be built around. Best chance for this will probably be rogue I would think.

  • New Warrior Minion - Ringmaster Whatley

If I open this guy up I'll definitely be trying him out - I love a good direction setting card, and Warrior certainly has those this expansion. Mostly I just want to know what we're calling it - I'm partial to Whatley Warrior for the alliteration, but Ringmaster Warrior is a tad more generic if they keep updating it. Feels different enough from Menagerie that it needs its own name.

  • New Neutral Minion - Carnival Clown

Deck of Chaos and all the Priest cost reduction might allow this to see some fringe play in Standard.

  • New Paladin Minion - Lothraxion the Redeemed

"For the rest of the game" effects can be either broken or just unecessary. Can you play this card in time for it to matter?

  • New Druid Minion - Kiri, Chosen of Elune

Weak stats, but a lot of targeted value in one card. Malygos Druid will probably run this, but won't be a high tier deck.

  • New Demon Hunter Weapon - Dreadlord's Bite

Echoing what others have said, while this is a good card I don't know that it's exactly what Demon Hunters want right now. They already have really well tuned lists for Standard, and trying to fit another weapon into them doesn't seem wise. I also wouldn't want to removed cards like Marrowslicer or Aldrachi Warblades for this.

  • New Neutral Minion - Silas Darkmoon

More of a meme card than anything, but fun watching when those meme decks go off!

  • New Mage Minion - Sayge, Seer of Darkmoon

It's a good draw engine for any deck running Secrets. I'm not excited by it, since I prefer the more random side of Mage, but it does its job very well and I wouldn't be surprised to see it in Standard.

  • New Priest Minion - Nazmani Bloodweaver

Insane card! Anything that has cost reduction has high potential, so we'll see how this one plays out.

  • New Warrior Spell - Minefield

A good anti-aggro tool, like it in big warrior.

  • New Shaman Minion - Inara Stormcrash

Not a huge fan of this card, but could make some big things the turn it gets slammed down. Immediate removal is required from the opponent. and that makes this card very dangerous.

  • New Warrior Minion - Stage Hand

Small hand buff and premium stats.  Not good enough IMO, but could see some minor play in taunt handbuff warrior.

  • New Priest Spell - Insight

Tutored draw with cost reduction, and easily corrupted.   I really really like this card.

  • New Neutral Minion - Gyreworm

Interesting support for elementals, but I think they need more support before this is able to be run.  Harder condition than Scalerider for not much more of a payoff.

  • New Priest Spell - Insight

This card is nuts and will be in every Priest deck. The effect is easy to Corrupt, and cost reduction on a Minion means you can sort of target what gets hit and some nasty combos could be made because of this.

  • New Paladin Minion - Lothraxion the Redeemed

Dude paladin intensifies.  Also I think this is the first demon for Paladin, and what a fitting one.

  • New Neutral Minion - Gyreworm

On the edge of being playable in an Elemental deck, but doubt it makes the cut.

  • New Priest Spell - Palm Reading

Spell slinging shenanigans intensify.  Strong ish card, but I don't see any real combos that will break the game out of the cost reduction.

  • New Mage Minion - Sayge, Seer of Darkmoon

Card draw and secret synergy, this almost has to get slotted into secret mage in wild. Potentially a replacement for Aluneth with a bigger immediate payoff and less of a long term downside. I'm sure there will be some good uses in standard as well.
